Sizzling Eggplant in soy Sauce with bonito flakes - 3.5/5Szechuan style fish fillet in spicy broth - 4.5/5Stir fry Beef with mix mushroom and black pepper 4/5First Impression~In general it's a great place to eat. The atmosphere and lighting is warm and comfy. Well lit but not too bright. The only issue is during busy times, it's hard to get a seat and when you do, it feels kind of rushed. The server explicitly told us we had one hour to eat and leave. Lots of pressure. The Food~I've had Szechuan style fish fillet in multiple places in Boston, but I would put this as one of the top. The soup wasn't too oily, it was thick with a nice kick, there was a lot of fish, and the veggies didn't melt away in the soup. The fish was super tender and a lot of meat to it. Perfect to pair with some rice. The stir fry beef with mix mushroom had some good textures to it. A lot of different kind of mushrooms with a good soy sauce based and black pepper flavor. The eggplant was my least favorite and the server forgot about the dish. It came out 45 minutes late, so not sure I can give it a fair rating. The Logistics~There's a lot of street parking around the area and if you can't get into this restaurant because it's busy there are a lot of other places to try within a block radius.

A friend recommend this place so we came to try it out. The interior design looks very pretty but it was very noisy and we(3 of us) had a hard time hearing our conversation. Food was ok, but not worth the price. We order 6 dishes, 1 dish never came. We try to order fried rice, it had a list of fried rice on the menu, but the waitress say ,we are not serving fried rice. And yet, we see the next table is having some sort of fried rice. But my friend insist, and finally the waitress say.. ok, we will make it. So they just fried the tasteless rice with some egg. Then the Bill came to $132, and we paid $150. The waitress was shaking her head and just stood there. So I ask her "is there a problem? "She does not say anything n tell me ..the total is $132... so I repeated ...the Bill is $132, and we paid $150, what is the problem??She just stood there, while the 3 of us looking at each other and don't know what to do. Then she kept pointing out $132 is our total...???? Yes we know, we say we gave you $150... and...??? What is the problem? ..then one of my friend gave her $5 more. Then this time she was satisfied and ask if we need the change....?? Huh?? So I said YES!!!!. Then she went and gave us $3 back and let us go.One star is for the interior design of the restaurant. Ok...I don't think I will go back again.

Highly recommend ordering family style so you can try more things!Sautéed Eggplant with Long Beans - it was sautéed and seasoned well. The eggplant and long beans were very fresh.Chongqing Spicy Popcorn Chicken (Bone-in) - the chicken pieces were very small so with the bone, there was very little meat. I would probably get boneless next time. It wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be.

Decent but pricey Chinese food. Dishes were overall tasty but quite hit or miss. The sauteed beef with mushrooms in black pepper sauce was disappointing - it was made with beef strips instead of thicker beef slices. The twice cooked pork belly was also lacking flavor and not worth the price. The sweet and sour plummy pork ribs was the best dish, full of flavor and cooked well. The fish and pickled greens stew was also tasty and served with vermicelli. Dan dan noodles were a miss - it could've used more peanuts and more ground meat. The stir fried chicken and garlic pea pods were alright, but very pricey. Overall, not bad in terms of quality but you can get better chinese food for the same price point elsewhere.

Very solid choice for some quality Chinese food in Boston! Nestled away in Brookline Village, the exterior belies a very enchanting interior with tasteful decor. Think Linsey Lohan's opening scene in the Chinese restaurant Freaky Friday meets your trendy local spot worthy of bringing non-Asian coworkers to.The taste is authentic; I highly recommend the twice cooked pork belly. Waiters are very attentive with bringing you water, checking on you, and even bringing boxes at the end for leftovers. The service is much nicer than you'd expect from places in Chinatown. Prices are a bit higher than your usual spot, but that's to be expected given the cleanliness, ambiance, service quality, and delicious food. Would definitely come here again with a group!Only con is you may have to wait a while, with or without a reservation. Cancelled reservations incur a $100 no-show fee, which, if actually enforced, is outrageously steep in my opinion.

Went here for lunar new year dinner with friends! We made sure to make a reservation about a week in advance since it gets pretty crowded especially weekend nights. The menu items all seemed really spicy which scared me since I'm not really good with spice, but I decided to be brave and try new things tonight! The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Even though it was spicy, I evened it out with their rice and we ordered sautéed salt yolk deep-fried shrimp ball which was so so yummy and not spicy at all! Would definitely recommend the steamed fish as well. It was so soft and flavorful. All of their meat was a perfect soft texture and very easy to chew. Very fast serving us the food as well. Also, the drink menu was hilarious and very cute (I've included a few pictures of it) They had some dragon themed stuff because of new year. Thanks for the great food!

Cute and cozy Chinese dining in Brookline. The flavors were all great however I think execution could've been a bit better. - Their sweet and sour pork ribs were seasoned perfectly BUT it was just overcooked. There were a few pieces that were a bit tough, which was a disappointing considering the flavors were spot on. - Their steamed fish was also bursting with wonderful flavors -- spicy, sour, umami, but once again it was just overdone.- The Tibetan sizzling beef was the star. Super soft, super flavorful, and makes you crave more. I personally recommend eating the dish with rice because I feel that the pita flavor fights the flavor of the beef. The pita is super soft though and the dish is definitely one of the must tries.I gave it a four star because of the flavors and vibes. I'd say it's worth a visit. I would come back, especially to see the consistency of their execution. If I get more over cooked food, you'll see another review from me!

A great spot to enjoy Chinese food and beautiful decor! We made a reservation for four on a Thursday evening. It was pretty much full so I'd recommend booking a table if you can. There's a variety of table sizes, so if you have a larger group, they might be able to accommodate you.We ordered a large bowl of white rice, eggplant with bonito flakes, traditional kung pao chicken, twice cooked pork belly, and sweet and sour fish filet. My favorites were the eggplant and fish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and filling. I would definitely come back to try out more of their menu!

Noah's kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in Brookline village. The twice fried pork is a must but most things I've tried have been very good. As usual, the service is prompt and friendly and would definitely come back

Seems like a pretty popular spot, so I'd recommend reservations if you're coming on a weekend night. Has cool vibes and decor.I thought the dumplings were quite good, but the pork belly roll with garlic paste was not enjoyable. Perhaps it's quite authentic, but cold pork belly just didn't work for me. I'm definitely interested to try more dishes here, but overall I've had better luck for Sichuan at Blossom Bar down the street.
