No Vacancy

I visited this place in my last trip to Chicago looking for some good food. When we arrive to this place we realized it was like a sports bar and in my opinion usually sport bars don't have the best food but after walked long way we decide to give a try.The place was small but clean and well maintain. The Mexican server and the lady as bartender were really nice and attentive. My sister and myself ordered a NV burger and a kids burger for the little one. The taste was great for all burgees cooked as we order and the curly fries were great. Also the servers were beyond and put the final game for Mexico Soccer league in one of the TVs in front of us, so I was able to enjoy the game.Overall, very positive experience, great service and good food. I will go back to this place for dinner or have a couple of drinks in my next trip to Chicago.

This was my first time here and I can honestly say that it was very good and I was really impressed! Not only was the food good, but the service was very good too.For food, we split a few things. We had pigs in a blanket, chicken tenders, egg rolls and then the buffalo chicken wrap. Everything looked really good, but also interesting. The presentations here were really neat and not expected, but it was a nice surprise. I think my favorite was the chicken tenders. The breading was phenomenal and very unique. It had the best CRUNCH to it. Everything was very good. For drinks, I had the Granny Panties and the Dime Piece. My favorite was the Dime Piece for sure! It was very unique but also very refreshing. The pear was very noticeable, but in a good way. There's an actual cinnamon stick in the drink, which was fun to drink out of lol. The service was impressive as well. Everyone was very nice and really knew both the bar and food menu. Usually places like this are pretty snooty (in my opinion) but everyone was so nice! We had a great time! I'd like to come back and try other items on the menu as well as drinks.

Love the vibe of this restaurant. If you come for happy hour (half off draft, wine, and appetizers), be prepared for happy people. It gets loud. Our server, Joey, was awesome! He made recommendations and gave us honest feedback. He served so many tables inside and outside the restaurant (patio) -- he was everywhere -- and he managed to pay attention to all our needs...with such a friendly smile. The food is pricey but is very good. The chef, Chris, came out to our table to check how dinner was. He interacted with other guests as well. Was strolling along Wells St. and came upon their inviting outside pop up patio adorned with colorful hanging flower baskets and the food served on other's tables looked pretty good so I asked to take a seat. The red signage "No Vacancy" kinda threw me off! I walked by during winter (sans patio) & assumed it was a motel or something. Haha!It's a neighborhood vibe and low key. Apparently No Vacancy is a fairly newish spot that serves American fare food late night. Probably a good tid bit to know considering it's just a block off from River North's ecclectic nightlife scene.Turns out I caught the tail end of happy hour which runs on Mon-Fri 4:30-6pm. Score!! They offer half off all appetizers, wine & drafts. The waitress named Londen was super friendly and she recommended burria burritos and chicken fingers. I got them both. I don't do fried bar foods normally but I gave into it. Everything was full portioned and flavorful. The standard menu definitely did have some healthier options, so keep that mind. I regret not checking out the inside ambiance but I could see a large bar with televisions from the patio.

Stopped by on a spring Saturday afternoon. Weather was gorgeous and they had just opened their patio so we sat outside. We were just there for a couple of drinks and an appetizer. First, service was outstanding. Our server was SO nice, and super knowledgeable, taking the time to tell us more about some of the drinks when we were undecided. The busser was also very good, coming to clean plates and glasses regularly. Our cocktails were not only delicious, but gorgeous too with beautiful garnishes. We ordered the birria egg rolls and, omg, SO good!There was a Masters party going on inside. They had requested the bar's usual evening DJ to DJ their party. DJ sounded great and it looked like everyone was having a great time.Overall, super cool little spot with great drinks and food. I would definitely come back!

I stopped in to work a little versus heading to my hotel. I'm glad I did. The ambiance was good. Easy to watch the game. Not too loud so you could hear yourself think. The service was great. My waitress was very helpful and outgoing. My fries were tasty and the birria eggrolls were good. My drink, This F's(i got a virgin) was delicious!!!!!!! The only thing that would take this place to a 5 is more on the menu. Some of the items they have in the pics on yelp are no longer on the menu. I'd return!

Great late night bite! This was one of the only places open when I was out at night so I went on in and ordered their burger. I don't know if it was because I was hungry, but that burger HIT! It was phenomenal. Juicy flavorful patty, spongy but toasted bun, perfect ratio of veggies, and had such a great sauce. I devoured that burger. If you ever need a late night bite I highly recommend this place. The service is great, the kitchen is open late, and the vibes have an intimate but cozy community vibe. Great place to eat alone as well!

First stop while visiting Chicago was to pick up some lunch. No Vacancy was just a few blocks from the hotel, so decided to check it out. Got there probably after the lunch rush, so no trouble being seated quickly. The server was friendly and quick to answer any questions. Fun, typical bar atmosphere. I opted for the chicken sandwich with fries. Food came out quickly, and the sandwich was nothing to laugh at, it was piled high, and tasted great. Curley fries were seasoned just right and tasted great. They e got a full bar and but a semi small menu. Still worth checking out!

Low key for a Sunday night. Bar seats are comfy and everything is very clean and organized. Beers are filled from the bottom of the glass, which is neat. Mediterranean wrap was underwhelming/dry/not recommended, but fries are pretty good. Fine is the best I can say overall. I wasn't drawn in by anything specific food or environment-wise.

Stopped in for happy hour & glad I did. The bar had a cool vibe about it. The lemon pepper rub chicken wings were off the hook and so were the $4 20oz beers!!! If you've never seen the Thrill system glass chiller or the tap-less draughts you're in for a treat. The beers have a crisp clean taste unlike most other bars with a tap system that may or may not have the lines clean on a regular basis & the glasses have residue on them.Do yourself a favor & stop in for beers & wings next time you're in the area, you won't be disappointed. The service was also A-1!
