Lovely NEWLY opened cafe and patisserie in old Issaquah. I stress Newly because these poor reviews must be talking about some previous or incorrect location. when I was here yesterday the owner said they were only around for 4 weeks! We stopped by to grab a drink amidst the freezing weekend and it was the spiritual and physical respite we needed. A very family friendly vibe with kids laughing in the center and a few local craftsman selling their wares. They have homemade coffeecakes and croissants at the end and a litany of coffee choices. The whole place was held together by a team of two, perhaps the owner and their partner? Theres seating, the speed was a little slow, but its the vibe youre looking for when youre in old Issaquah! Highly recommend!

Such an amazing spot! What truly sets this place apart is the positive energy and dedication of the staff. The menu selection has got you covered for a variety of sweet treats and savory ones. What impressed me most, however, was the attention to detail evident in each creation. I'm very excited to see this place grow!

My daughter came home and raved about this amazing place. She had a smoked salmon and avo focaccia which she called "chef's kiss!" good. The bread was fresh and aromatic, the salmon was tasty and the whole sandwich was very balanced. She also had a pastry she called a combination of a churro, a muffin, and a croissant. It was bavarian cream filled and the pastry she showed us was clearly a craft baked good made by someone with serious skills. Impressive. She also talked about how mich she liked talking to the owner. It was clear the owner was very passionate about her business. She was super kind and helpful and made our daughter feel really welcomed. She is already a committed regular!I was so surprised to see the reviews here. Its a brand new business with an owner who is clearly taking a risk and passionate. Have some grace folks. Your 1 star review may make you feel better, but its not a gracious review and it hurts a small business who is clearly working on something great. Did you also have a good experience and you dont suck as a human? Add your positive review and help a local small business get off to the right start.

I placed an order with this bakery on their website for Christmas. I received an email confirmation that instructed me to pick up the order on 12/24/23 between the hours of 12-3 PM. I arrived at the scheduled time to find the store closed with locked doors and the owner (Kristen) and one other employee were inside. I knocked on the door several times and the owner eventually came to the door. I told her that I was here for my order and showed her my reciept. She said she had lost all her staff and that she would deliver later that day instead on 12/24, Christmas Eve. I agreed and left. After leaving, the owner asked me for my address which I provided. However the delivery never happened and I texted the owner again on Christmas day, 12/25 asking for a refund. She agreed to refund but the refund never showed on my account after two more days. I have disputed the charge with the bank. In her text she claimed they had delivered every order, which is simply not the case, our order was never received and our family waited at the delivery address all night hoping she would show up. I've never had an experience this poor with any business. I really wanted to support a local bakery and regret ever placing an order with this business. Not only did they not honor the order pickup time but they failed to deliver on the day they said they would. To date I have not received this order.Update: After 9 full days since the owner claimed to refund me the refund finally went through. Contrary to the owners reply she never apologized, not even once. I have witnesses to her conversations with me and I'd take her to small claims court had the refund not processed. The owner also deleted her posts from Facebook that her business made about picking up Christmas deliveries. Search the Seattle Eastside vegan group and you'll see posts from other customers she failed to deliver for. Unfortunately she is also lying about the screenshots. This is not an honest business owner and I caution anyone that is considering their products or services, she operates in a fraudulent manner.

Excellent little cafe. French inspired food, amazing combinations on the sandwiches list and a fancy and culinarily genius display of French filled croissants. We got a rose and cardamom croissant and a jambon Paris sandwich. Excellent flavors. Well made. Subtle mustard on the sandwich which is how it should be. The atmosphere is very Parisian and adorable. The little touches were lovely. Fancy tea plates. Cute coffee cups. Beautiful cutlery. The general decor is also super cute. Highly recommend. Just one option from your local foodie who's picky about cafes and coffee shops.

Everything about this business I love. The food, the fact that so much of it is made to order. The specialty coffees are to die for & don't get me going on the pastries. We make the drive from north Bothell, we stock up to bring home. love you guys

I visited this bakery today around the afternoon and selection was sparse and didn't look great. They didn't have AC, so it was hot and stuffy inside. Prices weren't displayed on anything, which is really annoying. Put up prices! Only one person was working, so I had to wait 15 mins before being acknowledged and served. Despite the poor selection, I decided to order a few cake slices, hoping there were more in a refrigerator. Without washing her hands or putting on gloves, the person running the counter pulled 2 slices from a small refrigerator and put them in the box with her bare hands after serving several customers. For the 3rd slice, she then put a half eaten slice of cake sitting on a plate on the counter behind her into another box and handed it to me. After getting a closer look, it was definitely half eaten and had a dark hair in it... disgusting! I gave it back and she threw it in the garbage telling me that was the last slice unless I wanted the one sitting out on display, which looked gross because it had been sitting out in the heat for several hours. I declined. I've never been grossed out at a bakery before. Also, the 2 slices of cake I did get were terrible! Really dry and tasteless. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place. Very unsanitary.

Was so excited about this place and still can't wait to try it. But twice we have gone and waited over 10 minutes just to place our order at the counter, and had to leave because we just didn't have the time. I hope they can improve their staffing / operational challenges to better accommodate takeout orders as they currently seem better suited to people dining in who have more time to spare. Bakery items look delicious though!

Great Food, friendly staff, great ambiance. Issaquah needed a place like this on front street where you can get great pastries in the morning and coffee. And in the evening have something to drink and enjoy front street.

This place reminds me of an upscale, high-street cafe! Cute interior and a thoughtfully crafted menu. I stayed in here for quite a while, enjoying the Golden Hash Burrito and free WiFi.Only aspect it falls short in is service. There's only 2 people running the cafe, so things were a bit all over the place. I actually thought they forgot my order but it came out after 20 minutes. Not a grab-and-go cafe, but an excellent place to sit down and enjoy the afternoon!
