I've been meaning to try No. 246 for quite some time now, and I am so glad I did. The experience here was fantastic. Great selection of cocktails on the menu. I highly recommend that Papa Lou (gin or vodka, dry vermouth, and olive) and the espresso martini post dinner. If your diet allows it, the garlic bread is a must order in my opinion. It was so delicious, and it's perfect for 2-4 people to share. The Spicy Rigatoni Vodka was delicious, as well. It's a great vegetarian option. The portions are generous. For dessert, they recommended the EVOO pudding cake, and I can see why. The texture is perfect and the flavor is perfect. It comes with vanilla gelato on top, which is also a plus. Great service. Great vibes. I'll be sure to return.

I love 246. I came here monthly when I lived in Decatur for 3 years. I've only lived a town over for 1 year. I came with my boyfriend and the hostess says it would be 90 min before we could be seated even though there were available reservations online for 30 min out..I had two tiny negro is and really enjoyed the serving and taste. My Big Issues were with the entres. The risotto de mare was super, super undercooked. Undercooked rice really gets under my skin, so this one at this price wasn't fun.I also got the black spaghetti which I've ordered at least 10 times in the past. Today, it was way saucier, which I enjoyed... but I remember whole pieces of perfectly cooked shrimp... What I received was *overcooked, minced shrimp and sausage. Could barely separate the two and was not a fan.

I've been here one other time before this and I was impressed then. I had the garlic bread and it was phenomenal. Today I tried the Chicken Limone and a Caesar Salad. I only have a picture of my half eaten chicken limone because it was that good. The sauce it's in is not too lemon-y, not too bland. It has the right amount of flavor. It's simply *chefs kiss* I love capers and lemon flavored things so I may be biased, although I have heard that the Chicken Marsala is also good. I had to pick out a LOT of red/old pieces of lettuce from the Caesar Salad but overall it was okay. I had one the time before I came here and I didn't have that problem. I was sad to see they didn't have the olive oil cake anymore for dessert, so I decided not to get anything. I had some special tropical rum based drink they had, and it was nice and refreshing. The staff was nice and accommodating. They even remade my drink when there was something in it, with no trouble or incident. The bartender even apologized and I didnt even think that was necessary. Great place with great vibes and staff

We traveled to no.246 for a double date night with friends an early evening. The restaurant is in the downtown Decatur area, and it's beautiful! Parking in the deck just around the corner wasn't bad at all. We sat outside in the backyard area which was super cute. Only downside to this area is that you can hear the music and singing from the pub next door, but it didn't bother us at all! You're outside so you'll hear other people outside. The service was very fast and our waiter was very friendly. We let them know that we had tickets later in the evening and they made sure that we were finished with our meals before we needed to leave. The food was excellent. We had the garlic bread (not pictured) and the peppers on top were super yummy. That cheese pull??? 10/10. We ordered 2 of the chicken parms (HUGE!), one steak entree with a side Caesar, and the spicy rigatoni w/ chicken. We also ordered the Hugo and vecchio style drinks. Everything was fantastic. Thanks to the staff of no.246 for a beautiful evening.

This place is nothing short of amazing! My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary and our server Niiyah was great. We arrived about 20 mins before our reservation and were able to be seated. Service was quick and pleasant, the whole restaurant boasted a low lighting and gave an overall feel good atmosphere. But the food .. I could have kissed the chef. The pasta was cooked very well and flavorful, my husband got the chicken al forno and he loved the flavors. Everything about this night was what it should have been. Thank you Two Four Six!

I went here for a dinner date. I was so excited to visit this place but I have to be honest- the parking situation almost made me go home. I overcame that and we made our way inside for the 6:00pm reservation. I ordered the pork Milanese and I HATED it. Luckily, our waiter was great and allowed me to switch it for the meatballs. They were delicious. My dinner date got his usual, the chicken Parmesan but he was not impressed by it. The drinks were good, the service was top notch but the food left me disappointed. I would go back but I would be weary. Grade: C+

I am really not a fan of Italian food, or so I thought, lol. I visited No. 246 twice and both times were nothing short of amazing. The food here is so authentic and tasteful. The cheesy bread is super good and a great way to start off your dinner. The meatball appetizer is so good, I wish it was more than one meatball lol. The shrimp scampi coupled with a side of a alfredo was super good as well. I also had the bolognese which is nothing I would have thought to even order and it was super good and taste even better the next day after you warm it up for left overs. The service here exceeded my expectations, the servers were very attentive, and polite. The ambiance is dim, warm, and welcoming. I'd highly recommend visiting No. 246 for a date night, birthday vibes, or just to have great evening!!!!

No. 246 had been on my list for a while to visit. Let's start with parking ... since it's in the heart of downtown Decatur the parking is horrible and very expensive if you are unable to find street parking. The place had a great ambiance to it, but for a place that did not have any reservations for the inside seating, it was half empty so they do like to keep their patio packed comparatively. The bread service was alright, it was fresh but make sure to tell your server your dietary restrictions as the dipping sauce for the bread had beef. Garlic bread was VERY cheesy and overall great flavor. I would recommend. Black spaghetti was an interesting new dish, I liked it but I would give it a 7/10. The drinks were I mean low effort. I wouldn't really get drinks here. Recommend going to SOS bar if you want to grab drinks after! Overall a solid 7/10, the food had flavor but nothing mind blowing!

We had reservations for 5 for 9:30pm and didn't get seated until almost 10:30pm. They claimed because our entire party was not present, they weren't able to seat us but that was never told to us. We were only told that they were backed up. Now y'all know, this is Atlanta. If our entire party had to be present to be seated, we would've been informed from the moment we checked in to the hostess stand. That left a sour taste in my mouth considering that if our entire party did show up on time, we definitely would've been standing for quite some time regardless so having a reservation makes me a little uneasy considering they were never prepared for us. The manager ended up comping our appetizers after someone from our party complained. Anyway, the complimentary bread was delicious. I didn't enjoy the Sunday gravy but loved the olive oil offered to the person at our table to did not eat pork. I ordered a Cesar salad as a starter and it definitely was enough to share with the table. It was delicious but I personally would've preferred a little more dressing. I didn't ask because we were already seated so late. As my meal I ordered the chicken Marsala which was absolutely delicious. I added a side of the $7 pasta which basically tasted like noodles and cracked pepper. It was super fresh but not something I would go crazy over. Not pictured were the drinks which were all delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with a cocktail on the menu. I'll be back to try this again but with a smaller party and an earlier reservation.

I dropped by this restaurant last Friday, and let me tell you, it was an interesting ride. First off, I made the mistake of parking in the Church Street lot - a whopping $25 mistake. So, if you're driving, steer clear of that parking lot. Now, onto the restaurant - no. 246, the charming Italian spot! It exudes this sultry, sexy vibe that's just delightful. I went with my girlfriends for a night out, but it caters to all, from groups to couples. We were a party of 5 (cue the 90s reference), and initially, we were told we'd be seated soon. However, we found out only after our meal that everyone needed to be present for us to be seated. Not the smoothest start, and 3/5 of us were starting to get a bit hangry. While waiting, my girlfriend and I hit the bar for drinks. Being a tequila enthusiast, I stuck with the Sophia Loren, and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.Once everyone was there, we were seated, ordered prosciutto, and had some bread with sauce and olive oil to stave off the hunger. We went for tagliatelle bolognese, spicy rigatoni vodka, and the Marsala for our main dishes. Overall, the table seemed to enjoy their meals, but my bolognese was overly salty - I could hardly touch it, and I'm usually a plate-clearer. I did bring it up with the manager, who was gracious, but considering the overall experience, I might not be back.
