I was really excited to try this place out ! I saw all the comments and positive feedback on social media and the food itself looked amazing . But, unfortunately for me my experience was the exact opposite . This location is set in the Tempe food court. So automatically I was turned off by the fact it's not personable no interaction with the actual creator or business owner . You have to order through a kiosk ( which I do understand the idea of conveniency culture .) But places like this deserve to be show cased . What I ordered was fried plantains, Ogbono Soup , with two pieces of chicken , poundo fufu, and two sodas . For starters , The plantains were a bit undercooked, the soup was lacking flavor very ( oily , had no other contents but broth and the chicken ) so what was advertised on the menu looked NOTHING like what I got , no fixings such as ( no okra , the peppers etc) . The chicken was dry and it didn't taste fresh at all , it had this peculiar after taste I couldn't quite put my finger on. Overall I wasn't at all satisfied with my food and I'd say this meal in particular wasn't worth the $51.00 whatsoever. I want to say I stand firmly on supporting black businesses, but I won't lie about my experience. I'd say i would give this place a second try and at least come back to try the Jollof rice since that seems to be their top seller as it was sold out .

Nkechis pot is finally in Tempe and the food is amazing! I've been on a Nigerian food hunt for some time, others have failed to provide the spice and taste we were looking for. When we found her restaurant, we have continued to come back time on end and have never been disappointed with their food and service. My current favorites- jollof rice with turkey and Ponmo Alata. Amazing! Food is full of flavor- from the rice and it's aromas, to the Turkey and it's light sauce. Perfection ! The Ponmo is spicy and as a first timer of the dish, I continue to order it everytime! We have also ordered Egusi soup with fufu, Efo Riro and goat pepper soup. One thing I have noticed is I have not taken pictures of their plates! I will be back with an update to this. The Tempe food court location is nice. Easy to place and order, sit and eat, and or pick up and go! They still take phone orders. Highly recommend you try them out!

Less stew , actual Egusi, and palm oil..please. if your going to make Nigerian food..make that. As it's supposed to be made. Otherwise call yourself Jasmines Cuisine or something.

This time when I ordered Egusi soup it was watery with hardly any ground melon seeds in it. I was kinda disappointed this time around.

I've been eating Yoruba food my whole life. Growing up we would eat fufu or pepper soup at least once a week if not more. The dishes this place makes are out of this world. The Egusi Soup is the best I've ever had. The beef stew was amazing as well. It really felt like home food, like your mother made it. I've tried everything from the egusi, pepper soup, puff puff, samosa, jollof rice. I wasn't disappointed. One thing I can say is that the prices are a bit high but that's the case any place you go. The quality is truly worth the price. Check her out for Authentic Nigerian Food!

This place is a fraud. I paid for platters in advance and they never responded back after they received the payments. I went to the address provided and the neighbor said they were evicted many weeks ago. I have reported the number and business to FDA and the feds.

The address is an apartment complex with only a building number (not an actual location) and the restaurant does not pick up calls. You'll pretty much never receive your food. Not sure if they are actually in business but they confirmed my order when I initially ordered. Very unprofessional.
