The atmosphere was good a bit loud probably due to ppl talking over the music and it being family friendly. Felt comfortable yet elegant and modern. Food:The edamame was really good with a nice chili crunch on top not too salty and not too spicy. I got the kawaii roll which wasn't one of the recommend ones but it was my favorite. The 2 spicy proteins didn't overpower the sushi and were balanced with the crab and a light drizzle of a sweet savory sauce. Lots of depth to this roll. The spicy scallop hand roll I got was decent. The scallops were extremely fresh, I just wasn't all that pleased with how much crunchy flakes they put in the hand roll and it wasn't rly spicy at all. The other rolls were good, but I found that they lacked depth of flavor and there was no contrast to complement the dish(holiday roll). The soft shell crab one was similar and I thought the use of lettuce was a little strange. Overall very tasty though. Also the lychee martini was absolutely delicious. A lot of people put too much alcohol and it just tastes awful with no lychee but this was well balanced with enough alcohol in it while still getting that light refreshing lychee flavor! 10/10! Service was good everyone was attentive. It was a little slow, but mainly since it was a Friday night. A little pricey but good quality. I just wish the maki rolls had more pieces since they are on the smaller side and same with the nigiri.

Finally upscale sushi in Pearland! Comparable to the high end sushi in Houston. We got a few pieces of nigiri, 3 maki's and the truffle fried rice. Truffle fried rice was a pass for me, I like mushroom (and it had a lot of mushroom) but felt like something was missing. The moneymaker is definitely the maki. I had the umami maki which was amazing. My brother had the wagyu maki. He typically doesn't like sushi but he finished that one! The owner and chef and staff checked in with us, made us feel like we were taken care of. I'm already recommending this place to my friends!Parking is in a plaza! Should be plenty, unless they get super busy!

We love the new Nishiki in town!My hubby and I are always excited about trying out new restaurants near home, and were excited to hear about Nishiki. Yes, the hype is real - we finally have a restaurant that's comparable to restaurants in town. We had their crispy rock shrimp, seared sashimi, Holiday and Kawaii signature makimonos. Everything was very fresh-tasting and very beautifully presented.Service was good overall, however various staff members continually asked to take away our menus for other patrons at least 3 different times. This is understandable as they're still trying to work out their kinks though. The interior of the restaurant is very nice with lots of natural light. We're still going to come back and try other items on the menu.

We had been waiting for this place to open and we were not disappointed! Everything we had was delicious!!Pictures of everything we had, We also had the grilled chicken and it was tasty! The service was amazing and the staff was super friendly. The chef came out during our meal and asked how our experience had been which we thought was very kind. The space itself is very nice and calm! We are excited to have this close by!

Finally a great sushi place in Pearland. We always drive to kata, uchi or MF sushi for our sushi needs. Now we can get it closer to home. It is once a week for us here. Terrific set up! Can't wait for the patio to be completed

Love how they decorated this place! They put a lot of effort into it! The food was wonderful! The salmon was so meaty, the tuna truffle vinaigrette was delightful, and the fried rice was so good! The crunchy roll had the eel sauce, which was a nice touch! Since most sushi restaurants charge extra for eel sauce. Will definitely be coming back!

Glad to see a more upscale sushi restaurant hit Pearland. This place is comparable to Aiko or Kata Robata. The restaurant itself is decorated nicely and comfortably for a date spot or fancier dinner. Relatively new establishment so our server did his best with recommendations though it did feel like he was reading off the ingredients to us haha.We had the chirashi which offered a variety of different sashimi (more than you would expect) and enjoyed the flavors over all. The presentation was beautiful and the texture and taste definitely hit. We also ordered the ishiyaki. While the flavor and spectacle was good, don't expect to get full off of it. The dessert brought down the experience for us because the portion was so small. The flavor of the green tea was mixed well in the cheesecake but it felt like there were about 3 bites to be had.Overall I recommend checking it out especially if you're in the area and want an elevated experience.

Location: strip center off Business Center next to Costco. Ambience: Chill vibe, upbeat atmosphere with modest Japanese decor. Sophisticated and laidback dining. Perfect for any occasion. Service: Individual attention to guests. Truly an experience from the moment you walk in. Greeted happily by host, bartenders are knowledgeable about all the beverages, chefs interact with guest, this solidified my experience. As a new establishment everything looked seamless and this supported their exceptional hospitality. Food: Special selection was fresh and of the best quality. There is great passion and thoughtfulness to the each dish. Set up with beauty and precision, everything was spot on delicious and refreshing to my taste buds. Sake didn't disappoint with several to select from and a house vodka as well. Let me be clear, Nishiki is a gem. Soon to be popular and pillar of Japanese cuisine here in Pearland. Whether you desire to meet up with friends or colleagues here. Or perhaps need to take clients out for exceptional dining, this IS the place. The outdoor space to the bar is inviting. Will definitely be my go to for the summer of 2024! Finally a place in Pearland that's chic and thoughtful in every way!

Would rate this place closer to 3.5 vs 4 stars. TLDR at the end. Stopped by on a Wednesday night, it wasn't too busy in the restaurant. We were greeted immediately and sat at a table within a minute of walking in. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The interior is very nice and is very comparable to the higher end sushi places in the city. We ordered a couple of items to try, the best in terms of flavor was probably the toban yaki, it was very flavorful without being overly salty. We also got two rolls, the Nishiki and the kawaii roll. Both were a bit too heavy on the sauce, but the fish tasted very fresh. The Kawaii roll could honestly use a crunchy element, maybe cucumber, all of the components of the roll are very soft. For the nigiris, we ordered hotate, chopped scallop and madai. Again, everything tasted very fresh but in terms of flavor profile, everything was very one dimensional. The last thing we ordered was the seared U10 scallop. It was definitely our least favorite plate. It could have used a bit more seasoning and strangely it was only seared on one side. Though the half that was seared was seared nicely. I think the scallop might also have some sand left in it so there were parts that had a gritty texture. After tax and tip we spent around $120, which i would say is around the amount you would probably spend if you went into the city. It is one of the nicer restaurants in Pearland but if I wanted higher end sushi, I think I would just make the 30 minute drive into the city. TL;DR: All in all, the food is decent and the price is so-so. Would I come again? Maybe if someone else wanted to go.
