Ninki

We stopped in this past Friday evening for dinner with some friends. We enjoyed the table side hibachi! We started with some soup and ginger salad which were tasty. I ordered the filet which came with fried rice and veggies as well. The fried rice was sooo good! The steak was also cooked to perfection.

I was visiting Nashville and Ninki was recommended to my friends. I want to first thank the server for being so chill and friendly. He was definitely helpful with deciding which rolls I ordered. I ordered the:Texas roll 7/10Pizza roll 5/10Butterfly roll 5/10 Yum yum roll 7/10Crunch Larina roll 7.5/10Hawaiian Roll 7/10I wasn't impressed but not disappointed either. It may be my personal preference so I'd definitely recommend trying it. My friends did not care much for the hibachi but I did not try it.

Short wait, located in the strip mall with plenty of parking there. Service was entertaining. We did the Hibachi experience and got a show with our meal. Plenty of food! You will not leave hungry. Inside was a little loud with other competing hibachi tables putting on shows. Need to go back and try the sushi.

How have I not reviewed this place yet?!I go every year I'm in town for my birthday.Most recently went earlier this month when my parents were in town for an early birthday dinner (since they'll be on vacation).Everything was great as usual!Chef was hilarious and portions were generous.Flavor was all over it.Nearly had to be rolled out but was able to control myself, stop eating, and get a to-go box! Proud of me for that one ;)Can't wait until my actual birthday so I can go back with friends.Note: if the waitress says don't get the fish - don't get the fish! Two friends asked "chicken or salmon" a few birthdays ago and waitress said "chicken". They both ordered salmon and were disappointed... but hey, they were warned so I'm not letting that hurt their review. My other friend gets sushi here all the time and hasn't had any issues.

It has been awhile since we ate at Ninki and I was in the mood for teppanyaki so we had dinner there tonight instead of driving all the way to Franklin to Shogun. First off, service was excellent. The 3 of us of order filet and scallops, filet and shrimp, filet and chicken and hubby ordered the Tennessee roll. Soup and salad were great and I like that they put a lot of the yummy ginger dressing. Hubby enjoyed the sushi roll and said he'd order it again. Our chef was funny and it was a great way to start the meal. Steak was delicious and I also enjoyed the chicken. The sauces made the dinner even better. Usually the fried rice is my favorite part and unfortunately it was just rice, egg and some sauces. I wish it had some veggies and butter as it was a bit lacking so I'd say that needs more work but aside from the rice everything else was delicious and I would definitely eat there again.

Nice Japanese restaurant. Has hibachi tables. There are standard tables and sushi bar as well. Casual atmosphere. Serving staff is pleasant and always welcome us back. My daughters love coming here. The hibachi stations can get noisy . We had a birthday lunch there for my eldest and a few friends. It was a hit. The kids had fun and enjoyed themselves

Went on a Wednesday night and my party of five was seated straight away. We all had the hibachi, our chef was fantastic and the food was good. The staff is very friendly and attentive--our drinks were always refilled and they took care of us all. It is your standard hibachi experience. Love that they do not skimp on the sauces and are generous with all food portions.

Our server was nice and made some great recommendations for food and drinks. We sat at the sushi bar but were looking forward to having hibachi next time we visit.

love love love Ninki! always me and my friends go-to lunch or dinner spot. Amazing food, friendly workers, and just a blast!

Terrible quality sushi. You feel sick after eating it. I thought to give this spot a second shot and it disappointed me again. I'll never be back.
