This place always smells so good when I walk by and I finally gave it a try. Entrees are a good portion and could make 2 meals out of one order. Ordered the following: Beef and chicken teriyaki - includes iceberg lettuce salad with a tasty salad dressing and 2 scoops of rice. The beef and chicken had good flavor and were tasty, the beef tasted a bit like Korean bulgogi. I liked the chicken teriyaki more than the beef teriyaki. Wish the chicken teriyaki was juicier and less dry. Chicken teriyaki and vegetable tempura - includes 2 scoops of rice. The tempura looked unappetizing, but it was actually delicious, had a great crunch, the vegetables were fried perfectly, and the tempura sauce was delicious. The chicken teriyaki just like the entree above was flavorful and tasty. Would come back for the tempura and chicken teriyaki and also try other items.

Beef teriyaki lunch bowl. It's good but it's 2.00 dollars more than chicken portion wise think small for 11.00 the people on the phone are hard to understand so just make it simple. It's always busy and is quite good. Not enough veggies tho.

I have visited Nikko Teriyaki previously, and I just have to publicly state how excellent their food is. This visit I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it was fabulous. The teriyaki dishes that I have ordered in the past have also been excellent. I just don't think you can go wrong with any of the menu options, which are several. The restaurant is definitely not fine dining. There are four tables to sit at and you order at the counter. The food is served in to go boxes. But wow...the food is phenomenal and continues to draw a consistent flow of customer traffic.

It's definitely delicious. It's a nice little spot to get lunch. Each dish is about $15. Not too expensive nor too cheap either. But still I imagine I would come here a lot if I work nearby.

APIHM #6: If you're from West Seattle, you know about Nikkos-- but if you're not, let me catch you up! I remember coming here weekly in high school because it was the "thing to do" if you went to Chief Sealth or West Seattle. They offer lunch plates and we would all get chicken teriyaki. The owner would remember us and if we wanted no veggies, extra sauce, etc. Now that I am out of highschool and deal with highschool kids regularly, I can only imagine how tiring a big crowd of kids with an even bigger order to take back to their fired would be tiring but I never got that vibe from them. The staff here is family-owned and their service is amazing. Very quick and very sweet! They do have indoor seating but their space is on the smaller side. If you're in West Seattle and looking for a quick bite, I recommend grabbing something from here and enjoying it outside in the sun.

Food is great i usual do not eat the salad and ask for a veggie instead. The inside is small with five table to seat two. When I arrive there was two other people waiting. A small group arrive and a line started to form outside the door. The customer service is ok.. The young man seemed to be in a hurry to get off the phone when each phone order. He was very short and loud. I placed my around 8:05pm my order was ready by 8:15pm

Recently moved to Seattle and this is my first time having teriyaki since moving to Seattle and I must say it was delicious. I ordered the chicken breast teriyaki platter and I was pleasantly surprised. I decided to go with the chicken breast vs. the thigh but the chicken was still moist but perfectly charred grilled. The teriyaki sauce wasn't too sweet or salty, perfectly balanced. The salad, though just lettuce was crisp and fresh with the best dressing you could have asked for to balance the savory from the chicken. I will definitely be coming back.

I love Nikkos it's my favorite teriyaki spot in Seattle. I love their secret salad dressing I could just eat that on about anything. I've become a pescatarian/vegetarian over the years so I haven't had their chicken teriyaki for a couple years. I tend to get a lunch bowl, no meat, extra veggies, with their dressing and sriracha. Yum. I do wish they brought back the real sriracha the other brand they have is very vinegar-y. Not my vibe. Since high school about 10 years ago their quality has changed a little bit. Still very good just not exactly the same. But not enough for it to not be my favorite. Best I've had in Seattle, especially West Seattle.
