My favorite curry in Houston! First time back since the remodel. I love the new decorations. The green curry is delicious! Perfect spice level. Great flavors. And a large portion. If you are looking for good curry, check them out. Located at Montrose and Commonwealth, with a decent size parking lot.

We had ordered Pad see Ew, pad woon sen and the fried tilapia. I thought the food was pretty good although the Pad see ew and pad woon sen tasted very similar with a slight difference in the ingredients in it. The tilapia was not what I had expected so that was so so. Service was great and they had come check on us often. But one thing to watch out for is when you get the signature sign, to make sure that the tip is not prefilled. They said that the machine accidentally did so at times.

I really wish I could give this place more stars but I had a pretty terrible experience here, and I'll start with the food. I ordered the pad see ew and this dish should not be soupy. Mine was soupy. The noodles basically melted in your mouth without chewing at all, and that is not the consistency of what this dish should be. The chicken in the dish was not seasoned at all. The vegetables weren't cut to be bite size. The flavor was also not the flavor did what pad see ew should be. I did not even take a picture of the dish because i could not make it look appealing. 1/5. I did order the appetizer chicken satay and that was pretty good. 4/5.Service was pretty abysmal. There were 2 other tables eating. But I was not handed a menu for 5 minutes. And I did not have my drink order taken for another 5 minutes. The staff was busy cleaning up the restaurant and seemed like they had no desire to serve the customers. The waitstaff also cleared my chicken satay appetizer before I was finished using the peanut sauce to cover up the poor-tasting entree I got. Probably will not find me here again.

Food was really delish! We ordered Tom Yum soup, it was more on the sour side, eggplant curry, tiger cry, and drunken noodles. Everything was really good but it was not hot hot (like cook to order sizzling from the pan) Service was a bit slow (like mentioned here) The food was a bit salty. Even though these are my downs I'm still gonna give them 4 stars bc we really enjoyed our meal!

Time for an updated review....So I've visited Nidda a handful of times since their remodel, so I have a good grasp of the restaurant. Here's the short version: food is pretty great, but the service is awful. Every time I have sat in the restaurant, I have sat down with no acknowledgment from anyone for at least 15 mins. This past time, we waited 30 mins since being seated for any interaction from anyone. Normally I would have gotten up and left after 10 mins, but I had my heart set on Thai food and didn't want to drive elsewhere. But honestly, that's unacceptable. It was a weekday evening, not busy at all, and it's a small place. The least they could do was bring us waters as they passed by our table multiple times. The eggplant dish is really what has me coming back. It's perfectly fried eggplant with a curry sauce drizzled on top. The curry is pretty good too. TBH their noodle dishes aren't my favorite. I've had much better at prob any other Thai spot in Houston. It's decent, bc of the convenient location if you live in the area. But I wouldn't drive out of the way to come here, esp with so many other great options in town.

For years I have overlooked this place. I was left heartbroken when my fave Thai place shut down. I tried other spots but something was missing. I decided to give this place a try & was pleasantly surprised. The curries , curry so hard and don't even get me started on the noodles. This is officially my fave Thai place!

I ordered the Panang Chicken Curry which has become my go to dish. The flavor was good, it could have been more spicy. The shrimp we had was good. Service was a bit slow. Ambiance was weird due to a kids birthday party. I didn't think the price of entrees matched the portions. I don't see the value of coming here again.

I live in DFW but travel frequently to Houston. Nidda has the most unbelievable Tom Yum soup and yellow curry. I take both mine with shrimp but it's the bouquet and flavor of the broths for each. I crave them!

Tried out the Red curry + Pad Thai and an order of spring rolls. The curry was good, not spicy but good flavor, definitely a bit smaller on the portion sizes for the cost compare to some of the other Thai places around town. The Pad Thai was decent, with a nice balance of sweet and savory, and the toppings were well integrated with the egg.Service was good, a lot better for me than what I've seen on the reviews. Not too busy on a Friday night, decent size parking lot and cozy environment with a few dine-ins but alot of take out orders. Overall a decent Thai spot for the area.

Been working nearby for a few years-Mainly come in for lunch, sometimes as well for early dinner.Haven't had any issues or complaints dining in nor grabbing to go so far!Fairly reasonably priced too-I normally get noodles (Pad) or fried rice- I am not big on curry in general so can't comment how good those are.
