Ok yeah no.Used to be my fav. Tried again today in hopes that it improved from the last time i visited and it got worst.First the woman at the counter was superrrr unfriendly. There were a total of three customers it was a rainy day so no excuse. No smiling, no hello ir thank you, just waited impatiently while i approached the counter. It felt like i had done something wrong. The burrito itself, mine, was supposed to have avocado. She said ok to the avocado. Instead it had guac. But most importantly, it was a bean and cheese with rice and guac (not avo) and it was the spiciest thing i ever had. I think an entire bottle of tobasco fell in the rice. I couldn't finish half but thankfully because... i got sick.My dad got a surf and turf and had violent effects of diarrhea... he refuses to ever step foot here again.I will also never return.Oh and everything is severely overpriced. $31 for two burritos.

I had the worst fish tacos and I got sick, I have had diarrhea plus a fever since I eat at this taco shop August 14 2024 terrible experience.

Being a native San Diego resident, this taco shop isn't worth it. Tried it today, the guacamole was runny, no taste. Rolled tacos were soggy. There was literally water residue on the foam plate.

Avoid this restaurant; their food quality is terrible. I got a sore throat after eating just half of their California-style burrito

I stopped in here tonight to grab some food to go on the way home. I ordered a California burrito, a pollo asada taco, carnitas taco, and fish taco. $36! That much for three tacos and a burrito. They told me cash only, as well. The California burrito was alright. The pollo asada was dry, the carnitas was okay, crispy but a little dry, and the fish taco was just fish sticks. I wish I could give more than 2 stars, but I think it's a disservice to anyone reading this review. I went in with no expectations and came out with $36 of disappointment. If you're okay with expensive mediocre food, it's there. They could step it up, food is expensive these days, and I get it, rent too, but really the food was not great. It's a restaurant, they sell food, it should be at least enjoyable. El pollo loco is superior to here, and you'll get so much more for that price. The cashier was standard, just took my order, which is all I need, but did give me plenty of salsa!There are so many food options nearby, I won't be returning to this place unless the prices decreased and/or the food tasted better. I rarely judge a place after one visit, but there is no need for me to return.

Got a pollo asado burrito, it was pretty basic and plain. Just grilled chicken, lettuce and sour cream. I think they use breast meat because its very dry and with just lettuce and sour cream, it just taste like a chicken salad in a tortilla. They should add pico and or guacamole to add some moisture and variety to it. Its very basic and pretty underwhelming.I've also tasted the carne asada burrito which is slightly better but still pretty basic and reminds me of street tacos. Just meat and pico and some guacamole. If you get a fair amount of guacamole then its ok, if you don't then its pretty bland and just seems like meat and pico de gallo.The red salsa is pretty spicy though, more than most places which i like. I haven't totally given up on them, if i was in the area i might try one of their breakfast burritos or maybe the carnitas.

Food is well prepared. Restaurant is basic with no frills. Good local joint. Limited drink menu.

Fish Taco is star dish of any taco shop. Here, it means store bought tortillas with store bought frozen kids fish fingers. Yes, the frozen kids fish fingers! Topped with tons of cabbage. No flavor. No texture. Tastes like cardboard. I could have walked into Vons and for the price of 2 taco, could have bought dozens. The worst fish taco I have ever seen. They charge ~$6 for this. $12 went to trash. How is this place even in business. You have to work very hard to be this terrible.

15 bucks for a burrito it should be good .this place sucks . I got a carne asada burrito and barely had any meat in it . Next time I will go to kotijas jr they know how to make a burrito
