Nick's Food To Go

This is the rudest staff I've ever encountered. No food is worth dealing with the condescending nature of this front of house team. They weren't just rude to me, but in my 15 mins there I noticed 5 customers were greeted and encountered with short patience and just nasty behavior. Never going again.

Nick's is my go-to spot for gyros and other Greek specialties, but last week I was craving a burger and Nick's did not disappoint. Sometimes. I just pick up their perfect baskets of fries or onion rings. Portion sizes are generous. Their food is delicious. Their health department score is 100. I love that customers include us gentrified neighbors, college students, downtown workers...Nick's is something we all agree on.

Finally made the trek down to Nick's! We came about 30 mins before closing (they close at 7pm). There is a small lot for free parking, but it is small and people will EASILY block you in. Beware!By the time we got there, there was a line and we waited maybe 10 mins before being able to order. They notified us when we got up to the counter that lamb was sold out and I was devastated. As I waited, I settled for the chicken gyro and a large fry. For orders under $10, they do not accept credit cards. After ordering, you wait outside and pickup your order from the window. We waited about 15 mins before getting our food. There are 2 picnic tables outside but the move is to definitely take it somewhere else.The fries were really yums and so hot, but I felt like the large wasn't very large. The large was smaller than the small chickfila fry size. The chicken gyro was sauced up and the pita was soft and supple. I wish there was a bit more protein, but for the price it was okay. I wish I got to try the lamb, but I'll be back earlier to try it!

Love this place. Been here maybe five times since coming to ATL in 2020. Would get here more, but I'm rarely downtown on a weekday, and this place isn't open on weekends.It's mainly to-go, couple tables outside with maybe 10 parking spots (recently paved). You used to order outside, but now you can order inside. They take cards, ApplePay, Wallet etc., but there's a $10 minimum for non-cash. Any combo will get you past that threshold.I've only ever gotten the lamb gyro with fries. Someday I'll try something else, but I like that gyro too much. Meaty, fresh vegetables and a sauce that's just right (not heavy or too runny). The Halal lamb is seared with almost a crust on the outside. Fresh and healthy and not greasy--I don't like those things, and I would not come here repeatedly if that was the case.

Delicious gyro wrap combo! . I used to go across the street for bbq. Always wondering about this place. My father was the first person to take me to get a gyro when I was a kid in Savanah Georgia. Every time I get one I think of him. He passed in 2014. I didn't eat a lunch at work just snacking on chips. I wanted my appetite right for when I got off from work. I ate the fries in my car and the lamb gyro is loaded. I got the combo with the sweet tea. I also got a lamb plate for lunch at work tomorrow it's flooded not skimpy. The plate comes with potatoes and a salad with dressing and a tzatzikii sauce and pita bread. My new gyro go to spot! I can eat off this plate on first and second break at work.

I've been going to Nick's for almost 20 years. I'm so glad it has survived all of the changes and development in this area. amazing Greek food!

Always a great visit. The food is fantastic. This is one of those places you can bring a first-timer and they'll probably come back on their own within the week.

Super excited to see the location back open after all of the construction that's been happening in the area. Definitely one of my go to places if I'm in the mood for a good falafel wrap.

I love this little Gem. I love the Lamb Gyro and the Fries. I enjoy their Greek specials. Their onion rings are good as well. When folks pull up to the place for take out, we all give knowing glances, that we love their food!!!.Thank you for being a staple.
