NFA Burger

I finally, years later, came to the new location. I stood in line for 10-15 minutes, ordered a Classic (two patty) burger with the normal fixings and some raw onions, and also got a chili dog to share and some tots (as well as a jalapeño iced tea from the ample selection of a very well curated and actually quite attractive gas station mini mart).The burgers were very good when NFA was out of Galla's, six years ago. They are probably the best in Atlanta now. Seriously. Not as greasy as Five Guys. It's got more of a crisp than The General Muir. I'll throw in Fork In The Road (which is rock solid in all their food including burgers). This compares favorably to them all. The tater tots were excellent as well, a perfect consistency, and came with a nice (sassy?) sauce for dipping. The Jersey dog with chili and all the free fixings? Good. Not epic but tasty. Well cooked, and enhanced by the chili, but the burger is the main attraction here.I 100% recommend this place. Oh, incidentally, I talked to the owner and he said Galla's kicked them out because they were selling the business and having a co-occupant/tenant was seen as a hindrance to finding a buyer.They're not kidding. They're Not F***ing Around.

I don't normally hand out 5 stars especially with a place with limited ambience (literally a parking lot with some tables), but the burger here truly is one of the best I've had and has won several awards for best burger in Georgia.There is something special about a burger sold out of a gas station with a line of people out the door waiting to order one. It was so flavorful, had a little spice to it, and was a perfect size. The tater tots were delicious and even better with their sauce. You have got to try the burger at NFA. It might just be the best burger you've ever had!

Good burger. Saltier, less flavorful/savory, and overall not as good as I had hoped. Good but not great. I think the line is way too long to justify the wait.If you were to compare NFA Burger to 7th Street Burger in NYC which also makes smash burgers, 7th Street would win out by a long shot. AND they offer an impossible burger option for vegetarians. Here doesn't.

Finally revisited NFA Burger after a few years! My first experience back when they opened was marred by a long wait (over an hour!), which kept me from returning. However, I'm pleased to report that they've made some great improvements. The addition of outdoor seating and a revamped ordering system has significantly reduced wait times.Today's visit was smooth--I only waited about 15 minutes from arrival to enjoying my burger, and it was worth every second! The burger itself was delicious. It's an amazing option if you're craving a solid burger. The staff was friendly, and the food was fresh and tasty. I recommend coming on a weekday to avoid long waits. Great food & quick customer service!The double smashburger was perfectly cooked. All smashburgers come with American cheese, mustard, pickles & sassy sauce on a soft potato bun. Sooo so good!

The burger was ok. Not the best in Georgia though. I paid over $8 for a double burger and it seemed very small and I wasn't really satisfied after finishing it. I'll go back and try the hotdog some other time.

I have been wanting to come here for the burgers and finally got the chance to. It is inside of a gas station and you order inside. They don't take orders over the phone. We got a double and crinkle fries along with a Belgian waffle. They ask for you car model and they bring it out to you when it's ready. The burger was moist and a smash burger. It has good flavor. The fries were fine with seasoning. The Belgian waffle is crispy outside with sugar. Overall, a good experience. Not sure if I would agree to best burger in Atlanta.

-owner/manager came to check up on my party-burgers were smaller than I was expecting but I love the smash burger style of the patty-crinkle cut fries had good seasoning -tater tots were super crispy -took off one star because for the price, the size of the meal was smaller than expected -I recommend getting two burgers ‍

The place was super busy and the line was wrapped around! The line was well worth the wait! We ordered two classic burgers with all the toppings that usually come on it, fries and tater tots. They ask where you want to sit and bring it out to you! We sat at the picnic tables and not even five minutes later, the food was brought out. Super fast service! The burger was so good, soft and pillowy bun, great sauce and the meat was seasoned well. The seasoning on the fries were great and paired so well with the sauce. The tater tots were crispy and great. We also got the chance to meet the owner, he was super friendly and came around to ask everyone if they were enjoying their meals. I will 100% be back and I even heard him say they will be bringing more things to the menu, can't wait to try and hint: even milkshakes!!!

Best burger that I've found in ATL. Always a treat.The word is out! Big customer base now.The lines are getting so long that it's going to start hurting the business. Hope the burger quality doesn't decline.
