The best chicken tikka masala hands down. My partner and I love exploring the menu but we will always order chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. We will never stray from ordering this because it is just that good! I enjoy how you get to choose where you can sit. Beware some tables outside are at a slant.

Such a lively spot! Fun place to grab some Indian food and people watch on the street. You can see the kitchen action from the counter and the food is fresh. My husband did takeout and got the lamb goush entree, you have to order the naan separately. It was spicy and full of deliciousness, but I wish it came with Naan or more naan. 1 serving honestly wasn't enough.You need a code for the bathroom and parking is horrendous on a Friday evening

Zareen's has two locations: one in Redwood City, and the other in Palo Alto. I've been to both and they're always packed! Typically, you'd stand in line to order at the cashier's, and then you get a number and you go find your own table. They'll bring you the food at your table once its ready and take the number away. I always get the chicken tikka masala, basmati rice, and butter naan. Sometimes I feel extra and also order the mango lassi. The chicken tikka masala main dish size is easily enough for two meals - sometimes a third! It's super creamy and flavorfull with a hint of spice, and the naan is buttery and fluffy. The mango lassi reminds me of somewhere between a smoothie and a milkshake. I highly recommend Zareen if you're looking for some bomb Indian food, especially on a cold, rainy day, it's the perfect comfort food!

Finally got to try Zareen's after hearing about it so many times from different friends. The downtown area is so cute, it was my first time in Redwood city. This location is huge. We got there around six so we beat the dinner rush, however it got busy as we were there. There's are many options on the menu and I was a little overwhelmed because I was starving and everything looked so good and I wanted it all lol. I opted to get the lamb thali which I really enjoyed. The lamb Curry was super flavorful. It also came with a cucumber salad, arugula salad and a dhal curry. I didn't really like the dhal curry as much as it was pretty tangy and sour which I'm not really used to. Next time I think I want to try one of the tandoori chickens or the chicken bhoti. I saw many people order that and it looked amazing. I really wish there was a location closer. Maybe one day they'll open a location in San Francisco. I will definitely be back though!

This place is always pretty busy. Service was different than usual since they had us sit and took our order at the table. Both the young men who helped us were very nice (one took our order and the other came to charge with a handheld)The chicken tikka masala is on point. The main dish size is easily enough for 2 people. The naan is great, but we opted for the garlic naan and it didn't disappoint. Today it felt like service was a little chaotic and slower than usual because it looked like they had a big party they were getting food to first. Luckily we got an inside table, but they do have outside seating. Water is hard to come by (they were busy to refill and the self-serve station was completely blocked by uber/dash drivers.

This spot had been on my list for a while after hearing so many great things about it. I finally found myself in the area and knew I had to give it a try.Right away, I was impressed by the warm and inviting ambiance, along with the friendly staff. There's both indoor and patio seating, and since it was a chilly day, we opted to sit inside. Ordering was simple, you place your order at the counter, take a number, and then grab a seat. We went with the tikka paneer, lamb curry, and garlic naan. When the food arrived, my first reaction was wow, especially seeing the massive garlic naan! The curries were rich, flavorful, and perfectly creamy, making for an incredibly satisfying meal. If you're craving Indian food, I'd highly recommend this place. I'll definitely be back for another visit! Also, the mango lassi was to die for!

Joined 3 others to dine here on a rainy night. We ordered original naan and garlic naan. Very flavorful food. The beef Chaplin kebab patties were the star. All the special spices used to make these patties made these tender and heavenly. I sandwiched this in between the naan bread. So delicious! Although we ordered our food at the counter, the wait staff was very attentive. Our water was constantly filled. They were constantly checking on us if we needed anything else. In anticipation of our food coming they had given us plates. It is a very lively ambiance. The bathrooms are very very clean .

Wow, this place is certainly well worth the wait. The store was packed on a Wednesday night. I tried the paneer tikka masala and chicken tikka masala. Both dishes were uber delish and packed with flavor. I would highly recommend getting naan bread on the side. The only downside to getting here how parking can get a bit tricky, but there's parking structures if the street spots are filled up.

The food here is amazing and the staff are really helpful. Chicken Biriyani on Friday's 10/10.

Really good food and service! I absolutely recommend the chicken masala and lamb curry with garlic naans. They are fantastic!
