Vince's Cafe

I can only speak of the salads here. My friend has been bringing "Joe's Salad creations" from here to our Friday potluck.Fresh ingredients, ripe sweet fruit, and creamy delicious dressings.

This is for the Chinese chicken salad. The vegetables are fresh and battered chicken are very tasty but the sesame powder (?) and dressing doesn't match the salad. I will be back to try the soup and sandwiches

This place is further from where I work than I typically go for lunch, but I was up in the area for an errand, and decided to try it. Glad I did. An egg salad sandwich is an egg salad sandwich? Not quite. a) lots of egg salad, cool. b) *green* lettuce, cool. c) a pickle, very cool. There's a place right around the corner that used to give pickle slices with their lunches, and when covid hit they stopped, and never started back up again. Don't think I didn't notice that! I got a veggie sandwich. It's really bad. Would not recommend if you're looking for vegan friendly options.The bread is tough and soggy. The veggies are all dipped in pickle juice so it was so wet. And slimy juice was dripping off. Overall terrible.

First time trying this place and it's only down the street from my job so I was really hoping to like it. The service was like no other I have seen. I came right at the lunch rush and I waited in line less than 2 min with 3 people ahead of me. I ordered their salmon day special. It was a pasta with salmon and cauliflower. I liked it but nothing too memorable. The side options were a soup or salad. I went with the soup and it took the show! I never thought a chicken tortilla soup needed cheese but I've been missing out all my life. It added a saltiness and gooeyness that I've never had before. Once ordered I waited maybe 5 mins. They had about 10-15 people working at once. You can see right into their kitchen and it was a well oiled machine. Really happy I found this place. I'll be back to try their Sanwhiches or any other specials they might have.

Breakfast is amazing here. The service is top notch. Favorite place to go on work days.

Vince's Cafe is an amazing place to visit if you have a short lunch or don't want to be too far away from the business park. The sandwiches are delicious and taste fresh (nothing feels like its been sitting for a long time) but what sets them apart are the daily specials. It keeps the place unique so you don't feel bad about visiting multiple times of the week. I highly recommend checking the website everyday to see what is available and to head there before noon - otherwise the specials will be sold out since they have quite the crowd. On a nice sunny day, the outdoor seating is really comfortable as well. All in all, a very nice and delicious lunch cafe to visit during a day in the office.

I'm a bit of a latecomer in discovering this place, but glad that I did! Started coming here when my job switched to remote work and I could start going to places around Fremont whose hours are limited to the breakfast and lunch crowd.While Vince's might seem like a run-of-the-mill sandwich shop, their daily specials set the place apart from other options. These specials aren't just posted and left up for weeks at a time -- they're updated everyday. And they get updated on the website everyday as well, so it's well worth checking out. The caveat here is that will often run out of the daily specials, so arrive early if there's something that catches your eye on their website.For the specials, Vince's comes up with some nicely creative sandwiches as well as entree dishes. Their pork sandwiches are especially good, and the entree portions are generous. The sandwich specials come with fries as well as a choice of soup or salad.Unlike some other delis that cater to the lunch crowd or chain stores, it seems that the food at Vince's is made on-site rather than shipped and reheated. Even by inflationary standards, the food at Vince's ain't cheap. But, the portions are large enough for nearly two full meals, so it's not a bad value.

I've been coming to this place for a little over a year now and will likely bring my future grandkids here.. the food is seriously just that good! A simple yet exciting menu has me wanting to try something new with every visit! My go to is the chicken breast sandwich; comes with fries and a soup/salad all for under $20. I add bacon and avocado to mine and it never disappoints (would take a picture but a little too late - maybe next time).The staff is super friendly and provides exceptional service every single time. I don't know anyone's name there but I swear we're all really close friends as soon as I walk in lol. On a serious note, I want to thank the Vince's staff for being a reliable source for quality, affordable lunch options in Fremont. Customer for life!
