Surprising new favorite boba spot in the South Bay! I had tried Ume Tea before at another location and remember it just being okay, but saw this one after stopping by in the plaza and wanted to give it another try. The ordering is easy on a kiosk off to the side. The hardest part is deciding on a drink- they have a lot of options (something for everyone!). I got the Rice Mochi Black Milk Tea with 30% sweetness and it was so good and the perfect ratio of milk tea, chewy purple rice bits and the super soft mochi (yum!!).Will definitely be back!

Finally got the chance to try Ume Tea and I was not disappointed! When they dropped their new Jasmine Blossom Latte, I KNEW I had to check it out. I absolutely love Jasmine tea, the more floral, the better! Their Jasmine Blossom Latte is green tea based with jasmine floral notes. It had the perfect amount of creaminess and floral undertones. I ordered mine at 75% sweetness, although next time I could definitely enjoy it at 100% sweetness.I also tried their Longan Slushy which was perfectly sweet with lots of longan flavor. There were also jellies that tasted like longan. However, it wasn't so much a slushy as the ice pieces were bigger than expected! I wish the texture was better but the flavor was definitely on point.Overall, I will definitely be back! The shop is quite spacious and SUPER cute!!! Definitely check it out ^__^

This is my 3rd time at an Ume tea but the first one at this location. I happened to see it across the parking lot when donating some stuff at savers. The first thing I noticed when walking in was the cute decor. It's very pink and had cute bunny accents everywhere. The space was clean and very inviting. This is the only Ume tea that I've been to where there was someone taking orders and not just from the tablet.I ordered a Thai crème brûlée milk tea with crystal boba and Ume whipped cream. I love that the whipped cream is pink! It added a little something extra to my drink. I like that more of these Ume shops are popping up and look forward to coming again.

This is my go-to boba place in the Blossom Valley area! I love stopping by here after the Almaden Barnes & Noble plaza. Every time I have gone here I have received quick and good service.I love the decorations and merch in this Ume Tea. They are so cute, and I always have to restrain myself from impulse buying them. There are also a few tables with seating. Also, they have a huge bunny and great wall decor for taking photos! My favorite drink at Ume Tea is the creme Brule Thai tea! The size of the drink is very good, and the sweetness is perfect for my sweet tooth. I've also gotten the Halloween special drink here. It did not disappoint. Just FYI, this plaza can get busy so it can be a little hard to find a parking spot during popular hours! However, I think stopping by here is worth it if you need a boba fix.

I love trying new tea places, and this place is definitely worth trying. So many options to choose from. They also service food. I ordered the Lycee and Watermelon green tea, so refreshing and the bite size popcorn chicken is really good, crispy and tender.

Ume Tea is located in an area that I normally don't go to, but I was curious enough after seeing it a couple of times on social media that I had decided to go anyway. There is ample amount of parking and the interior of the restaurant is just adorable - I had never seen so much pink in one place. The aesthetic of the place is top notch, and it's certainly helpful toI decided to order the Lychee and Watermelon Green Tea, as it was one of the popular items listed. The service was a bit faster than I had expected, though it was not too crowded so I don't know how much that really says. The drink itself was refreshing with the exception of one minor thing - the lychee bits at the very bottom have an uncomfortable texture. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but it was annoying to sip through and made what was otherwise a relatively pleasant drink a less satisfying experience. Despite this, I wouldn't mind trying to return again. I have hope that one of the other drinks will be more to my liking, and I accept responsibility that my less-than-stellar experience was partially my own fault for not doing enough research beforehand.

* Visited Weds. 1/1/2025 (happy new year!) * DoorDash pickup :) I will be very honest and say that I absolutely LOVE Ume Tea, and that I'm a little bias as Ume Tea is one of my go to spots for boba in the Bay. If you can, order ahead and do a pick up- it'll save you time and sometimes, you'll be able to beat some crowds. This location is pretty large and spacious compared to their Cupertino and Milpitas location, and a little less busy but that could be because it was New Year's Day. Today, we were heading on a roadtrip and were able to grab a few drinks and a snack (popcorn chicken!) for the haul. The staff was quick to check on us and help us find our order. OKAY THE DRINKS / FOOD: * popcorn chicken- I love that you were able to change the flavoring of it, as well as spice levels. We went with a simple salt & pepper and were pleasantly impressed with how full we were once we finished. * mango pomelo sago & boba - you CANNOT go wrong with this drink. This is a family favorite, and a personal favorite of mine. It's pretty refreshing and honestly great all year round. * mega fruit tea cup/ chubby fruit tea cup - Another go to drink simple because it's reasonably priced and pretty dang refreshing. I like to add their green tea jelly or aloe to this, and it would last me at least an hour.

Really just here to say: don't sleep on the HOT drinks and especially winter SEASONAL- Rice Mochi milk tea needs to be had by everyone!!Note: drinks do take a while to come out, but it's worth the wait! Most of the drinks are standard and solid- on the sweeter side so go 50% if you typically stray away from sweet like me.

And I don't know why, I can't keep my eyes off of... the pink decor.Ume Tea is a chain of bubble tea shops that has had particularly rave reviews for this location in its ~4 months of operation. It's my friend's current fave, so I had to make a quick stop after dinner. It's super pink inside, and they appear to have a cartoon bunny mascot in their wall art and merch. You can order via cashier or kiosk, and they'll call your name once your order is ready.I ordered one of my friends' recommendations, the Strawberry Matcha Latte ($5.95) with oat milk ($0.80) and a size upgrade ($1.00). As she promised, it was topped with a scoop of matcha ice cream, which made my dairy avoidance a bit pointless, aside from how cold the evening temperature is. Anyway, the drink is damn good. Even though the sweetness couldn't be adjusted down, it's not super high. The creaminess is on point, and the ice cream surely helped in that regard. The matcha is plentiful, and the strawberry does make itself known with flavor and seeds. It was great once everything blended together, which was tough at first in the tall cup with the even taller straw.I saw a text later that night from Ume Tea offering a free "Must Try" drink and went back the following day, The most interesting of the 17 options at the time was the Brown Sugar Boba Oolong Milk Tea ($5.95). It did provide plenty of oolong flavor, a good level of creaminess, and consistent boba that was the right medium between soft and chewy. The 50% sweetness was just right for me, while the light ice didn't feel that light.I'll have to try more of Ume Tea's offerings, at least from this specific shop. That strawberry matcha latte is the best version I've had yet. I get the impression that they carry a smaller and pretty specialized menu because they believe in each and every recipe, so hopefully I can try more on this and future trips to San Jose.
