Tustacos Taqueria

Kids were ravenous after swimming classes next door and wanted tacos. So we stopped by and placed an order for some chicken tacos. Place has a casual vibe and an all women crew. They served us chips and some salsas while we waited. Chips were decent. Salsas were ok but had a bottled salsa consistency, they didn't have any preservative taste though. The chicken tacos on the other hand were great. They were freshly made with ground chicken and came with onions and cilantro. Will be back again to try other items and update the review!

Great neighborhood spot. Has beer and jarritos, along with other beverages. They have breakfast all day and a pretty good size menu. The micheladas we had were prepared perfectly. The pastor is not Ona split but more of a saucy version. It is tender and has caramelized onions and piña. We will be backs it's a convenient location

I've given Tustacos Taqueria a few tries and it's just a miss for me. Last night I ordered the chicken enchilada plate and it was average at best. It wasn't bad just underwhelming and I really felt like the portions were pretty lean for the price. Maybe I'm just ordering the wrong dishes.The overall feel is super casual. You order at the counter and there's large menu boards overhead. Dining area gives off a slight cafeteria vibe with not much personality. Service is quick and the women running this location are friendly so I can see why some people really like it here. Good service goes a long way! I don't think I'll be back though. Disappointing since it's within walking distance.

A nice and delicious option for authentic food from south of the border. Elizabeth is always friendly and service is prompt and generous. I like they use real cutlery as opposed to some other taquerias. Just a really nice dive.

We have been eating at this establishment for years, including their former restaurant Ruby's Tamales y Mas on Cox in Saratoga, CA.In my opinion, it's the best mexican food in the Bay. We now live in AZ and haven't found good mexican food there yet. Every time we come to visit, the first place we go to eat at is Tuestacos Taqueria.Love the food - super carnitas burritos, tacos, taco salad, the ladies working in the kitchen, and the convenient location.

Another good meal and good service at Tustacos today. I ordered a chicken enchilada with green sauce from the Chiquitos Plates menu. Perfect portion size and yummy flavors!

This might be my favorite taqueria in the area. Others i've been to are either just okay or the food is simply not well prepared. Tustacos Taqueria food never misses - always fresh and delicious no matter what i order.My favorite is the carne asada taco plate, but also love the chile rellanos and burritos. The staff are always nice and accommodating when i need anything. Don't have to wait very long for your food, and the dining area is consistently clean with comfortable seating.

Saw a picture of the enchilada plate on Yelp and knew I had to come by and give them a try! As I was walking in, I saw the sign for $2 taco Friday...and was immediately sold on those too. Got the tacos for lunch and the enchiladas for later. For the street tacos I went with carnitas and shrimp (shrimp was $3.50), both were really good though if I were to pick a favorite it would be the carnitas. Will definitely be going back for $2 taco Friday because wow, what a steal!Enchiladas were good too, chicken was a little less tender than I expected, but still good. Enjoyed that the plate came with rice and beans, the Spanish rice was absolutely delicious and I'll definitely get a side order of that next time I go back for tacos. Overall prices were reasonable and portions were good. Service was quick and friendly. Will for sure come back!

For a quick bite and taco truck style tacos, this is a great spot!Stopped by to go and had the 2 tacos (cabeza & lengua) and both were nicely grilled and served on warm tortillas with finely diced onions & cilantro with a side of radish and lime wedges. The lengua could have been a little more seasoned but the side of spicy salsa that came with a small bag of chips helped balance the flavor.Excellent service, friendly staff and immaculate dining area.

RUDE!!!!!!!!My husband was gonna order an Agua Fresca for our daughter but had to use the restroom before ordering, the so called "owner" walked up to him rudely and loudly said, "what do you need" he told her he was waiting for the restroom. As she proceeded to be rude he told her "you don't need to yell at me" she proceeded to raise her voice at him pointing and yelling in Spanish, so we left. I went back to speak to her and tell her it was rude and unprofessional on how she spoke to him her response was "he should've asked me first" I told her she was busy making food and she didn't see him until she went to serve a table, I saw the entire thing. Basically she told me she didn't care and that she was too busy to hear what I had to say. So unprofessional especially for someone who is supposed to be the "owner"DO BETTER AND TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT!!!!
