Wow, I've been shopping at Trader Joes my entire life and did not once bat an eye to see what Trabocco is about. Let me tell you, I've been missing out.Trabocco strikes me as really good Italian food at an affordable price. In fact their restaurant and space screams "fancy". It feels upscaled and looks like a Napa winery.Usually with Italian food, a dish can most likely be split between two people. It's usually a lot for a serving, but here at Trabocco, it's well thought out. First, if you're planning to order a pizza definitely be prepared to share with others or take home. But if you are planning to order a pasta? You totally can finish a plate yourself. Overall, Im excited that there is a good and dependable Italian place within arms reach. The service is great and the food is of quality. Will be back.

THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN THE BAY AREA! I have always passed by this restaurant every time I have been to South Shore, but never really given it a second look. But very glad my bf took me here and sad that I have been missing out on their food for so long. We ordered the caprese, the lasagna, the ravioli con coda, the panna cotta, the tiramisu. I also got their Italian soda and the bf got a red wine. The caprese was okay. It was really hard to eat because you have a giant piece of burrata, a whole olive and whole basil to just stuff in your mouth. I used the commentary bread (Which was amazing. Fresh and chewy! Got a second round). to have something to accompany it. YUM! Both entrées were delicious! *chef's kiss* Yum I love ox tail meat. The ravioli was rich and the sauce just worked so well. The lasagna below my mind. I did give a look to the bf when he ordered it, but I was humbled when I tasted it. I kept going back to his plate for another bite. They knocked it out of the park. The desserts, I am sad to say they were not very good. The panna cotta was way too set and was bland. The sauce was good, but paired with out of season berries. The tiramisu needed a longer soak; it was dry and bland. I was so excited to try them too. For me overall great food experience. However, I do feel they should revamp their desserts. Just simple make ahead of time, then garnish isn't working for me. The interior is very beautiful and spacious. There were a lot of big parties there, but we got seated right away at the service counter. Which I found to be exciting because they have the pizza pit there. I also got to appreciate the line cooks; so organized and capable. Pricing is standard, it's definitely worth every penny on the entrees. Located inside on the South Shore shopping plaza. There is tons of parking.

The ambiance as you enter Trabecco is a very elegant & fine dining experience. This is a great place for celebrating any special occasion bc of the staff, food & decor.Orders:Branzino ally Griglia-is a semi deboned Mediterranean Sea bass with a lot of colorful vegetables grilled to a fine perfection. The fish was grilled perfectly with a fine crisp & not dry. I love vegetables & with the variety, I was definitely satisfied.Potato del Trabecco-filled with scallops, shrimp, calamari over sautéed spinach, arugula, spelt, cannellini beans, tomato. An array of seafood to satisfy a seafood lover. As I celebrated other year around the sun, I was surprised with a personalized visit from the chef who presented me with my tiramisu cake & a song. Small gestures like these makes me so appreciative, thanks Trabecco for a wonderful birthday celebration!

Trabacco never fails! Such a staple restaurant in the Alameda community. Table for 2 no reservation and they sat us immediately. I would highly recommend making an appointment! We were just in the area. Food was fantastic. I had one of their specials and the meat was so tender and the mushroom risotto was impeccable! They recently added new items to their menu so definitely check that out! Restaurant is always clean and very welcoming.

I love coming to trabocco for special nights and celebrating occasions! My family and boyfriend are all big fans of this restaurant because of their delicious food and wonderful service! The ambiance here is also perfect for any kind of celebrations or dinners. We've came to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries and they always surprise us with tiramisu which is made to perfection! My favorite appetizer is the calamari, favorite dish would be Alfredo fettuccini with shrimp, and favorite drink would be any of the spritz! It's always such a treat coming here and I'm so happy we discovered this gem.

We stumbled upon Trabocco while looking for a restaurant to celebrate an occasion with family. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time! The service was impeccable, the restaurant was warm, and the food was delicious. Though our group ordered a variety of dishes from pasta, to calamari, and panini, the favorite at our table was the pizza. It was delicious and the crust was cooked to perfection. Additionally, if you are a pesto lover, please be sure to purchase a container of their pesto. It is simply divine!

Wow just wow!!!! We swung by Trabocco for lunch today because we were in the area and it did not disappoint! As my beverage, I ordered the Pompelmino. It was super refreshing. We ordered the Rapini e Salsiccia pizza, Fettuccine Bolognese, Fagiolata salad and Insalata di Pollo for our entrees. The pizza was wonderful! The spicy sausage paired so well with the broccoli di rape. The crust was cooked to perfection. The fettuccine bolognese was pretty good - nothing too spectacular. The Insalata di Pollo was our favorite entree. I have no idea how they season the chicken, but it was absolutely mind blowing. It was juicy and flavorful. The salad it came with was delicious. For dessert, we ordered the stracciatella gelato and tiramisu. Let me tell you something, there's a reason the tiramisu is their most popular dish. It was to die for! Our server, Nico, was so attentive and friendly. Given that it was around lunch hour on a Saturday, there was a wait. The ambiance is lively and classy. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

If you're in Alameda, a trip to Trobocco is a must. Don't be fooled it's in a shopping mall. This place is top notch. This restaurant is beautiful inside. Very warm and cozy. I especially like their bar area. They also have a covered outside patio. The service has been impeccable every time I have dined there. At least 5x a year. Now for the food. Delicious is an understatement. My usual order is the mezza e mezza. 1/2 calzone 1/2 pizza. I always add sausage but you don't have to. The crust is thin but not too thin. Just the right amount of sauce and ricotta for the win. I also love their spinach and broccoli rabe. I highly recommend and can't wait till my next visit.

It was nice to revisit Trabocco. We met up with a friend for dinner. A casual place with style.Cristina Pizza: mushrooms, fior di latte, arugula, prosciutto, shaved parmesan, truffle olive oil (4/5). My wife's favorite. The crust is so cracker crisp good. Costata Di Maiale: wood-fired grilled 16oz bone-in locally sourced pork chop, broccolini di rabe sautéed with garlic and anchovies, roasted potatoes with almonds (4/5). The pork was tender and juicy. The broccolini had some spice in it. Too spicy for my wife. The roasted potatoes were crispy yet soft inside.Special of the Day: Wood-fired baked salmon in a tomato sauce, with black olives served with sautéed spinach and polenta (3.5/5). Nice and flakey. Our friend thought it was just ok.Creme Brulee (4/5) - creamy, rich, slightly softer than expected. Our friend liked the place and will revisit with his wife.
