Tony's Taco Truck

There's a reason I don't eat from food trucks. A friend recommended this truck. I was wary but trusted his judgement. First off the burritos are too expensive. Second the beans were undercooked. No flavor not much meat ( they didn't put any in coworkers burrito when I specifically said I wanted meat). Frozen burritos taste better than this place. Never again. Don't understand the ratings saying this gross food is good.

The burrito was not good. I ordered the chicken burrito - the chicken was not seasoned and everything was falling apart. I was given a small 1 ounce container of sauce and so I asked for one more. She said I already put one in there but I insisted for another one. I also asked for jalapeños and that was not given to me as well. I felt like their customer service could've been better. (I also made sure to tip well in the beginning)

Maria Cristina Taco Truck is a block from La Pinata and a block from Sears Outlet. it's on the corner of Merced & W. 140th Ave. it's 2 blocks from Kaiser. taco truck looks an older vintage model with faded paint, etc. M.C. has large post-notes with item pricing on it's frontage. the food is way better tasting than the visuals of the truck. (which takes your appetite away).offerings: tacos, selected plates, quesadillas, burritos, tortaseats: lengua [email protected], fish [email protected]: jalepeno slices, lime squeeze, carrot/radish slices-fried fish bits with onions, cilantro. looks like a huge glob of brown poop. served on twin grilled mini tacos. overflowing mess.-chucky juicy lengua on grilled double layer tortillastake outs:-looks like a lot of food since the tortillas are so small.-accompanying fork comes in handy. difficult to hold up tacos without contents tumbling out. plate is very small too. (how small is it? seeing is believing.)-tasty green salsa too..

I was planning to give this taco truck 3 stars because they forgot my sour cream and cheese(I paid extra for) BUT the taste of the tacos I ordered and the friendliness of the women working there bumped it up to 4 stars.I decided to do a sampling today so if it is good, I will be back to try other items. I ordered 3 tacos with sour cream and cheese, or lack thereof. A Camarones(shrimp), Lengua( beef tongue), and a Carnitas(shredded/grilled pork) tacos. Camarones came with a special sweet sauce that paired well with grilled onions and lime. Lengua was in big chunks(see my pics) but did not taste gamey. Best was the Carnitas that came with nice grilled crunch bits.Food highlight: For this order today, I recommend the Carnitas and the Camarones.

The Chilaquiles and tacos are very good. In case Google maps tries to mislead you, we found the truck at the corner of Merced and 140th.

Carnita tacos are so delicious, I had to get a second order of them. Haha. The carnitas have the perfect crisp and tenderness to them. I will definitely make a future phone order 510-715-8847, as is posted on truck wall or come by. I recommend this taco truck to everyone in the vicinity.

If you can catch it don't miss. The chicken tacos are sooooo good and the service is good.

The carnitas tacos are delicious. I would go back again just for those and maybe try something else. Rice and beans were okay. Next time I would skip those and stick to a plate full of tacos.

The put lettuce in their burritos which i'm not used to but they're a life saver when you're hungry at the Chabot Flea Market. Really friendly. I got the super burrito, it was spicy and kept me full for the rest of the day.

I was way to upset to even get a picture of my burrito but it was completely falling apart ... it had lettuce in it which is new to me from a taco truck but on top of that the lettuce was soggy and tasted old i payed extra for sour cream and it was not given to me I asked the man working for extra salsa for my burrito he processed to tell me it was in the bag already and there was 1 salsa for the two sets of tacos i ordered with was super upsetting to see cause i tipped well and was disappointed when i got home DO NOT COME HERE !!! i live close so i regularly come here and always tell people to come here also but something truly changed i will never be returning
