If I could give this place more than five stars I would.My husband and I had a late dinner at this restaurant with our 5 month old baby and had to wait approximately 30 minutes for our table. We didn't mind because we really wanted to try this place out, the owner or manager was so nice that they gave us an edamame appetizer on the house just for waiting! The sushi was sooo good! I think of this place often and can't wait to visit again. It's a whole in the wall sushi spot that offers amazing service and just a feel good spot. 10/10 recommend!Dishes tried- chicken katsu - California hand roll- a albacore tuna sushi roll - I forgot the name

Food was just as good as the first time. We came in as a group of 10 and they were kind enough to accommodate us. Despite how chaotic I'm sure it was to look after us and other tables, our server Alex made sure to check on us a lot.Our food came out in good time and was fresh and delicious. Our 2nd table ordered a lot more and everyone was quite pleased with their food. My dad ordered the tonkotsu and said it was fine, not overly wowed. I ordered the Yuzu Sake and JYP. The Yuzu Sake wasn't as seasoned with the sauce as I expected, but still was tasty. The JYP was perfect with a good enough kick without suffering. Overall, still really pleased with the food and service here.

Located in the same parking lot as Home Depot Livermore. Lots of parking easy to find. We visited this restaurant around 1 pm on Saturday. Were sat down right away no wait. It was nice to see they had the lunch special on the weekends also. It was quiet and service was quick. The rolls were great the jalapeño sunset is now my favorite roll. The beef teriyaki I thought was a small portion but the meet was flavorful and tender . You can upgrade the side to other rolls but we got the gyoza. The California crunch came with a wasabi sauce which was actually very tasty and not over powering. We will come back to try their happy hour and other rolls great service and restaurant was clean.

It is located in a shopping center with a decent size parking lot, so parking was easy. We got seated right away. We arrived at 8pm on a weekday and they close at 9. They were very friendly and attentive. Service was A+We started with the Luau under the special appetizer. The tasted very fresh and the pickled radish added a nice crunch to it. In terms of rolls, we got the lion king roll (it was baked to perfection), the galaxy roll (also great!), and the jalapeno Hama (had a nice kick to it).We also got the deluxe sashimi, which i think the fish pieces were fresh and big! One person in our group got the pork katsu don. He really liked it - said the chicken was fried well. Ambiance was casual and great vibes. Overall we all highly recommend this place. Definitely will return!

Incredible experience! I was craving sushi and came across Tommy Katsu on Yelp. The stellar reviews convinced me to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. The Red Rock Canyon and Sushi Boy rolls were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend both! I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in the area.

Came back for happy hour! Decent place to go for quick and cheaper sushi. Still located at a more small intimate place, which is a plus in my opinion.Will say the first time was better. I will come back to try more of their off the happy-hour menu options, like the 49ers the first time (my favorite roll here, nice and refreshing). Otherwise, the salmon kama is always worth the happy hour time, usually order 2. One for now and one for later~tehe.In other words, they're a decent place to go, especially if you just want more alone time with people. No loud music, more calming than anything and they have decent interior.Any entree items, they cook very well, no real complains. The only thing would be seasoning that can be worked on.The sushi is okay for what it is. Again, I'll try more items, because what we got this time, we ordered more catered towards my parents who don't like eating raw fish. I personally didn't like the tempera in the rolls this time, not sure last time.In terms of service, they only have 2 people, but they're nice and check up on you I would say, often. Soo overall good service.

Had a great late lunch with my family here. We ordered sashimi, 3 sushi rolls, and beef sukiyaki. I saw they have lunch specials and also happy hour M-F. The prices are reasonable for sushi and the fish is so fresh! The beef sukiyaki was also very flavorful. The place is not too big but we were still seated right away and I like how there is a small shelf for plates and the sauces connected to the wall rather than on the table for more space.

My sister and I love this place! The sushi is really fresh, affordable, and the service is quick. We love coming here for dinner after a long day at work. The place has a very cozy vibe and a lot of options to chose from. You can dine in or take it to go. It's conveniently located in Livermore so you don't have to travel too far for some good sushi.The only con about this place is it's usually slow in the evenings so they close earlier than their listed hours. We've rushed here after work to get a quick bite to eat and they'll close up an thirty minutes to an hour early.

Just had dinner here with my husband. The place has great customer service! Our server was Kytler, the young man was holding the entire dinner crowd on his own. He was impressive! He was calm the entire time and provided wonderful service. We got the potato kokkoro, beef udon and tempura udon. All the food was great. Thank you Kytler for making our first experience amazing. We will definitely be back soon!
