We went for the brunch buffet and did not have to wait for a table. It was a little bit crowded getting to and from the buffet line. The lechon, kare kare, and ube ginataan we're good! I don't know if the kare kare was only vegetables because that was what was left and I forgot to check for meat the next round. The sinigang was also good. I wish they had lumpia. and dinuguan. A halo halo bar would be nice too. I think the menu changes every week. It's a pretty space inside and a lot of parking. It is inside next to Lion market. Happy to have a Filipino buffet option available when craving food from the motherland or missing a Filipino party.

The staff was very friendly. They do something fun for birthdays. The food wasn't anything special or anything bad. It tasted like normal filipino food. There wasnt many choices too. Since there isnt a lot of variety i would hope for more tasty dishes. The price for the all you can eat is too expensive for what you get. It would be nice if sodas and juices were included instead of a separate price tag. Overall it was a nice casual meal but i wouldnt go again mainly because of the price/value.

I have been wanting to try this place out since I saw the posts on IG. I went here with a friend after our hike. The restaurant is inside the Lions Supermarket area. The restaurant is a good size, with nice decor and beautiful murals on the walls. There was only 1 server but they were as efficient as possible. Food came out in a timely manner, although I was kind of upset to find out they only do AYCE on the weekends now. It is kinda pricey when buying a la carte but I thought the food was good for the most part. Here is what we had:Tapsilog: beef tapa, garlic fried rice, egg, and a side bowl of pork sinigang to go with the rice - tapa is usually too hard and dry but theirs had a good taste was was easy to chew. Longsilog: longanisa, garlic fried rice, egg, and pork sinigang - it is hard to go wrong with this, it was good nothing to be wowed overPork sisig: I thought this was too sweet, it could have used a little bit more tanginess and maybe an egg on top...that would have been perfectGinataang sitaw at kalabasa: tender shrimp, green beans, and squash simmered in rich coconut milk, garnished with fresh green onions - this I really liked. Overall, I think I would go back when they have the AYCE, and maybe on a regular day to try other things.

First time coming on a Sunday for the brunch. Didn't know what to expect since reviews were mixed with them being a new place and all. I can say the greeting when we first walked up was very welcoming, place it very clean and well organized. What I enjoyed- garlic rice, BBQ chicken, pancit, limpia, kare kare and adobo.Things I would have changed- temperature of the food, for the price you pay you understand it's buffet style but food was barely like warm, pork belly fat was like soft and mushy not very appetizing and that's what I really came for. They brought us a water container and we filled our glasses, they took it and we were under the impression they were just refilling it but I think they gave it to another table. I ended up finishing my water in the middle of my meal and stayed thirsty until we left. I did get to try bilo bilo for the first time and it was quite yummy. I would love to come back once they make improvements and maybe even add more options to the buffet, just didn't feel like the quality and quantity matched the price point.

The layout was nice, clean and set up is classy, and art showing the Philippines is well made. You will need to go inside the Lions shopping area and go all the way at the back to find this hidden gem. Great selection of dishes to choose from, it is food place to take family or friends since it is family style sharing of food. We started off with the fried eggplant with fresh vegetables and lumpiang shanghai is a must in any Filipino dish to order. Perfectly fried and taste is delicious. We then had Chicken Inasal (bbq chicken), garlic fried rice, the crispy palabok had great presentation, and lechon kawali was seasoned well and meat was flavorful, crispy, and came out juicy. The food was all cooked well and the quality and taste was great will definitely come back to try other dishes.Dessert we ordered was turon a la mode was hoping they still had mango ice cream. I would definitely try the halo halo0 next time.Service overall was super amazing and they were helpful and attentive. There is a buffet option on Sat and Sun during lunch definitely stop by to try that.

Timog is beautiful inside! Reminded me of Vigan. However, The service was okay, as they were in their soft opening phase. Didn't like how our dirty plates piled up on our small table space, and how waters weren't being filled regularly by the waitress. The lunch buffet honestly was disappointing as there was a hair in the pancit which turned off many guests including my mom who is already picky and scared to eat out as it is, and even my stepdad who's German and barely eats Asian cuisine. The entrees served were so basic too. Eggs longisa, etc... for the price we paid it wasn't worth it! I can make breakfast just as good or even better. Was hoping the buffet would match another Filipino buffet in San Leandro, and sadly it didn't. Wanted to really like this place since I'm a proud Filipino and I live fairly close! Guess this place just needs a little more work and hopefully by then I can give it another try.

One of the things that my husband and I are always missing is Filipino food as our area has very limited options so we were excited when we were in Fremont by chance and a quick Yelp search led us to Timog. Heads up - they're located inside the building with the supermarket, not visible from the outside. Since they're in a plaza, parking is abundant and free. The inside is beautiful - not the aesthetic I'd think of, but it's beautiful and makes for a little too fancy yet casual meal. Our server was friendly - we were the only table dining inside on a Wednesday night so we got full service and no delays. We opted for their lumpia as the starter and then got the bangus sisig and pork sisig to share with 2 orders of garlic rice. The food smelled amazing and the portions were decent, especially the garlic rice for $2/bowl. They also had banana ketchup available.Overall, we left with a full stomach and some leftovers for the next day. The service was attentive and the food was good, but the prices are a bit high so I wouldn't say this will be a frequent stop for us. It is a nice option to consider if you're nearby!

Went to dine out at Timog after seeing it on Yelp and reading about how nice it was inside. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay but got a fairly good sampling of what the restaurant has to offer: Pork bbq, lumpia, lechon sinigang, ginataang. The sinigang was interesting- I want to say they do it from scratch versus the usual Knorr or Mama Sita mix. All in all not bad, I'm sure waiting to eat at home versus at the restaurant makes a difference, but I'd be open to coming back!

Went here on a Tuesday morning with the impression that they had the buffet (as seen on their TikTok page), to find that it's still a "soft opening" and that they no longer offer the buffet during the week - it would only be during the weekend for a few hours. As a foodie and a Filipino I still decided to give it a try. The business is located inside the Lion Market Shopping Center (from the main doors walk all the way down and before you get to the grocery store, the restaurant is located on the right side. As we walked in the business is slow, probably only 2 other parties dining at the time we come in - and they pay for their tabs just prior to us ordering. I think the main downside to the new business was the service was extremely slow. The dishes came out roughly 10-15 minutes after we ordered even though we were the only ones left in the restaurant. We could hear staff chatting in the kitchen as we sat their trying to get someone's attention since we still had not gotten our canned sodas that we ordered. Once the food came out we were unsatisfied on how the sisig was presented. The cast iron skillet was not hot at all and the sisig was not sizzling. I was able to touch the skillet with my finger and not get burned. The ginataang kalabasa was just your average entree, nothing outstanding. The pancit was large in portion, it had some lechon pieces on top which were good, but overall taste wise was a bit bland. And at this point all our food had arrived but still we were waiting on our drinks. The food and price point are on two different scales as compare to some of the local turo turo spots or chain restaurants such as Isla which is located just on the other side of Auto-Mall. Our server was extremely nice, a super kind man, but I felt that the slow service and half of the menu being unavailable definitely deterred our interest in returning.

Visited today with my coworkers for lunch! We ordered Bistek plate, Sisilog, and Pares plate. We really enjoyed the first two dishes, however the Pares took so long to arrive that two of us have already finished our plates, but one of us haven't received their order of pares yet. While this usually would've made me rate three, they handled the situation very well and offered to just take it out of the check and wrap the order to go. Moreover, they are still soft opening, so I understand the amount of unavailable items in the menu. Definitely worth the visit and would love to try the desserts next time!
