This unassuming cafe in the heart of downtown has some of the best sandwiches! It is located inside another building which makes it less visible. We loved the prosciutto and cheese sandwich w strawberries! It was fresh, lighted and made to order. The combination of flavors made it perfect. The croque was another favorite-- huge portions (but took about 15 minutes to make) so you know it's freshly made to order! The service was sweet and accommodating.

Great spot, great food and very reasonable prices. Its clear that Chef Julien (who incidentally actually works there) is keen to offer well-priced tasty french-ish lunch items. Just be aware that the location is adjacent to and services a senior convalescent center, ie its not a standalone "restaurant" per se. The ambience is more of a "grab and go" or quick counter service type of setup, with a few small tables/chairs. A great idea is to order items and go right next door to Lytton Park, which is a beautiful little wooded city park in the heart of downtown Palo Alto.

This morning we were out running some errands . We spotted this hidden gem and stoped by . The cashier was so sweet , very friendly and so welcoming, asked if it was our first time there and gave us a few recommendations, we loved the sandwiches made by the chef , we really enjoyed our coffee made by the lovely cashier. Coffee shop was nice to sit at and work in a few things while we were there , it's not loud so you can have conversations or work in peace . We liked it and will be coming back again . Thank you

Came here after seeing all the amazing reviews and left wanting more. I got the chicken sandwich and my friend got the rainbow wrap. They were affordable lunch options. My sandwich was crunchy and pretty tasty, but small and a bit dry.

I checked this place out on a whim and a desire to bike over to Palo Alto. They are located in the Avenidas, a senior service village. It was a to-go order and we arrived at closing time (3pm), but there was a genial environment. It took a minute for the staff to figure out how to help us, since we ordered through an app. We got a prosciutto, artichoke, peach salad and a cinnamon roll. The salad was packed with a good variety of fresh ingredients. Besides those mentioned above, there were grape tomatoes, burrata cheese, sunflower seeds, and plenty of greens. Best salad I've had in a long time.

Casual, clean, cozy, and friendly café. The food is delicious and very affordable.Ordered the delicious breakfast croissant sandwich (under the "Savory" section of the menu) with the ham on the side. Very filling. The croissant was perfectly made, buttery and flaky. $6 well-spent!Also ordered 3 raspberry filled beignets that were the perfect dessert. Soft, flavorful. The woman working the cashier was also extremely friendly and kind. If you need any recommendations, ask her!The café has WiFi and gets nice lighting, with plenty of seating. A great spot to enjoy some peace over good food and coffee.Definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

We go to downtown Palo Alto frequently but didn't know about this hidden gem hidden inside of the Avenidas building. I only saw this when I searched Yelp for a good lunch place near our house and the Yelp Reviews made me want to try this restaurant.More of a sterile environment but the food was quite good and reasonably prices, especially for downtown Palo Alto. My wife had the Rainbow Wrap and I had the Chicken Sandwich. Both were very tasty and filling. The Rainbow wrap is vegetarian, which my wife loved.We wanted to get the Raclette Grilled Cheese Sandwich but they had run out. Evidently, we need to either come earlier or order it ahead next time we eat here.We will definitely be back. The place is no frills but good food at reasonable prices in a clean environment with friendly service.

Delicious chicken sandwich! Chicken was juicy and the slaw was great. I love the addition of the corn. The store is connected to the elderly center, but don't underestimate their food!

Great find! Club sandwich was huge, Jambon de Paris was absolutely delicious, very light French bread, ham and cheese croissant also delicious, and chocolate chip cookie to top it off for our group. Lovely light space, delicious food. Give them a try!

Oh my gosh, I have reviewed this place before and the food and the prices are awesome. But I just had the smoked salmon sandwich and it was AMAZING! So over the top in deliciousness with cream cheese, cucumber and avocado. Please patronize this business because it truly is a hidden gem. P.S. Also, there are new desserts that are FABULOUS.
