We came very early before our flight and the broths are flavorful and hearty. You put together the bowl of food and can enjoy rather quickly. The skewers are also pretty delicious. It's a good ppace to try out in the area!

The food here is great especially if you're craving soup. The soup comes out super hot which is always needed for a good soup place. When the piping hot soup comes out, you need to put everything in super fast or else it cools down too much. The place is spacious and has a good amount of seating. The service is also super fast and efficient. They were very attentive during lunch service and can speak both Chinese and English wel

Stick with the noodle soups here and you'll be fine. I came by for an early dinner on Saturday around 5 pm and the restaurant was pretty empty. I parked in the Safeway parking lot, where there was plenty of parking available.I was starving since I had just finished with a hike nearby, so I ordered the S2 shrimp rice roll for $6.99 as well as the R1 original crossing bridge rice noodles for $15.49.I wasn't a fan of the rice roll at all, as the layer of rice roll was the thickest I've ever had. Plus the soy sauce it comes in tasted weird. I LOVE rice noodle rolls and this was one of the worst I've had. Don't get it.However, the noodle soup was delicious. If you've never had it before, the crossing bridge rice noodles is always served with an extremely hot broth + separated ingredients on the side. You can add the ingredients to the broth yourself. The R1 comes with a couple slices of meat (I'm guessing pork?) as well as 10 other small ingredients, along with your choice of rice noodles or ramen noodles. The broth itself was very flavorful, and I was very satisfied with the portions and overall meal. It was a cold day out and this was exactly what I wanted!

3.5 stars rounded up.Quality/Quantity - I like the concept and appreciated this experience.Chicken Mushroom Rice Noodles $16.49 - My daughter's and my favorite broth of the three.Seafood Ramen Noodles $17.49 - If I paid more attention to your business name, I would have ordered the rice noodle, but am glad I did NOT. As I felt my ramen held up much better in the broth. I prefer a firmer noodle, so I got lucky and made the right choice.Fish Maw Chicken Rice Noodle $18.49 - Did they forget the fish maw...? See picture. Or is that the type of broth? Anyways, my least favorite broth of the three. My daughter also got a boba milk tea.Atmosphere - Cool small local (franchise) restaurant. Cool decor throughout, see pictures. They were blasting their music so loud. I know I am young and hip, but I find it hard to eat when the music is so loud and I can't hear the people next to me.Plenty of mall parking as they are tucked away in a center corner.Open 7 days a week from 11am to 8pm.I also like the "Crossing the Bridge Rice Noodle Story" written on your window. Too bad I did not read it until I was finally writing this review. It would have been nice the share the story with our guest. Service - Little to no service. After they took our order, we NEVER saw them again. We even had to flag them down to get our check to pay and leave.I would have liked some instructions on suggested ways to eat these types of meals?Do you put it all in at once? Cook a little at a time? Any suggestions or best practices?LOL, I just reviewed one of my pictures and found the directions on how to eat this. And believe it or not, I did it exactly as recommended! What about the different broths? Where was the information on that?I just checked your website and could not find any information there either.Price - $65 + tip. Reasonably priced for what we got.Well, more for my daughter and guest. They both were only able to eat half of their food. I finished mine.Price also includes 25¢ for each to-go container and 10¢ for a bag.Owner Comment - I just found out my daughter is a regular here. Yet she has never taken me once... Congrats on your success since 2019.

First time here and I got the beef tomato soup & my friend got the spicy beef noodle one and both of the soup itself was good. The service was quick and helpful, and the food came out REALLY fast. They have instructions for you of what items to put in first and all. put them in slowly, and then put in the noodles last for 10 seconds, and then enjoy. I thought the meat and soup was the best part. I wish there were more veggies but besides that, it was fine. There's a parking lot outside and the restaurant is near a yogurt store.

This place has gone down hill on their soup quality over the years. Tasted like msg soup a lot and gave me a super thirsty mouth and headache sometimes after the meal. I used to really like this restaurant but not any more.

Yunnan Over the Bridge Rice Noodles has centuries old history and if you enjoy southern Chinese cuisine, it's definitely worth your while to try this iconic dish out. It's all the ingredients of a noodle soup presented to you disassembled and you put it together yourself. The bowl finishes cooking at your seat.I went with Original Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles, which had a mild, milky, and delicate broth. I really loved it, but if you prefer intense flavors, go for the Spicy Beef Brisket Rice Noodles, which is what the hubby got. The braised brisket is tender, the perfect amount of fatty and chew, and really flavorful. Star anise, Sichuan peppercorns, and fennel notes are strong. The online menu says the bowl comes with 10 side dishes: corn, quail egg, chives, wood ear fungus, snow fungus, ham, bean curd stick, preserved cabbage, red onion, and lettuce. But we didn't get the red onion and instead got dried goji, and in place of preserved cabbage, raw lettuce. One of the side items you get is what appears to be a pungent minced meat sauce. I recommend that you taste test it to see if you like it before you add it to your soup bowl. It is a bit of an acquired taste and may not be for everyone. For appetizer we tried the Chinese Miao Style Beef, which was blackened jerky beef tossed in sesame seeds. I wasn't a fan, but the hubby said it was okay. It's basically savory beef jerky. Neither one of us would get it again. Not the best bowl of noodles you can get in town (personally I prefer pho, Lanzhou pulled noodles, even ramen), but overall a fun experience worth trying at least once.

I was immediately convinced to try this place out when I saw the presentation of the food. Stopped by for Saturday lunch and there was no wait but already a good amount of customers just 30 mins after opening. That's always a good sign. We got the kimchi beef rice noodle, pork cartilage rice noodle, and a side of calamari. Service was quick and food came shortly after. The soups come piping hot. There were instructions on the menu on what goes in first: protein, egg, lettuce, and then everything else. Noodles are added last and stirred for 10 seconds (hence the name of the restaurant). Both soups were delicious and very fulfilling. Good amount of protein and a decent portion. However the pieces of pork cartilages were very tough and dry. I would probably get another meat option next time. Calamari was seasoned well but slightly too salty. Very crispy and flavorful. It was a fun experience and a cool concept. I felt like I was in a cooking class. I will definitely be back again!
