Ten Ren Tea

Love TenRen as I grew up drinking this brand. Their milk teas have a strong tea flavor & the texture of the boba is always really good. Recently I've been a huge fan of their hot teas (ginseng/honey/goji).If you're ever looking for a box of tea to give as a gift or just to have a home, highly recommend getting a box of their 8 treasure tea. It's sweet from the rock sugar, moderately floral, and a great option for even people who don't like traditional tea!!

A hole in the wall tea spot! They offer such a big variety of teas to take home and make in store. I ordered the lychee green tea and mango green tea, the tea flavor is strong and really shines through which I enjoy. I would adjust the sweetness to enjoy more of the tea aroma. Service was kind and fast, would come back next time I'm in the area!

There was a long line when we stopped by. However, after a few minutes they opened a second line and it moved quickly. It was well standing in line and the wait as the drinks here were delicious!We ordered the following:-Sweet Mango Ice Teazer with lychee jelly - What a refreshing drink with a generous amount of jelly-Guava green tea was absolutely delicious. It was not overly sweet either.-Grass jelly with pearls and the grass jelly with lychee jelly drink. Both were great with the grass jelly and toppings. The employees were friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The shop was also very clean. I can't wait to come back and try some of their other teas in addition to buying some of their loose teas.

Peach milk tea is amazing. The family owned business is always fast. Always have a great experience here. Service is fast.9 times coming here and will come again

First boba of 2025 had to be Ten Ren! Quick, friendly service from the staff here as always. I got my usual passion fruit milk tea, and it's consistent like it always is. Sweet yet tart, the perfect refreshing drink!

Terrible experience!I ordered two drinks; Large:Green tea with milk, boba + grass jellyLarge: Green tea with milk, white boba(I was ordering for someone else)I paid with cash. For a total of $10.75.Paid $20. They gave me $8. It took a while to get my money back. I offered to take $.75, but they didn't even give to me. The reason is because they made a mistake after I gave them money!They didn't even show me the right order price on the cashier!!The "true total" $12.I will NOT be ordering here again.I do not, recommend this location.

My favorite OG place in the Bay Area. I know a lot of other tea places have been popping up, but this has consistently been the best tea place around. I actually prefer this location to the one in Cupertino. You can actually taste the tea and it's not overly sweet. Grass jelly is always good.

I've been going to Ten Ren in Milpitas for 15 years. I've experienced so many new milk tea shops that have opened in the Bay Area over the years and Ten Ren still remains my favorite. Not only is the tea quality top notch, but their prices aren't as high as other spots. Also, they allow you to bring your own reuse-able cups and they fill it to the top! (See photo) I highly recommend this milk tea spot to locals & visitors! Pro-tip, get their small boba instead of their regular boba. Their small boba have better texture/taste IMO

My friends and I have been coming to Tenren since high school and we are never disappointed. With price increases and inflation, a large milktea with boba is still $5.50 at this Tenren location, which is amazing! I got the Osmanthus milk tea with boba and it was delicious! I forgot to ask for less sweet but the drink was still really good. My friend got the passionfruit milk tea with boba, but she forgot to ask for less sweet. Her drink was so much sweeter than mine so she asked the worker to make it less sweet. The service was amazing as they were accommodating and added more tea to make the drink less sweet. When you come into the store, you order on the counter on the right side, and you pay for your order afterward. The workers are really nice and they also sell loose tea leaves at the store. This is more of a grab and go type of boba shop.

I don't know why there are so many good reviews, but honestly, this is the worst milk tea I've ever had in the Bay Area.I've been to the Ten Ren Tea in Cupertino multiple times and I really like the milk tea there, so I thought this one would be the same. I ordered White Peach Oolong milk tea and it came out a weird color that looks like diluted tea with a few drops of milk. The taste is even worse. I was expecting a hint of white peach, but it turned out that the white peach flavor was from very sweet syrup. Other than the syrup, the milk tea was almost tasteless - it didn't taste like tea nor milk. My partner ordered green milk tea with pearls and it was basically the same - diluted tea with a few drops of milk. Even worse, the pearls were tasteless and the texture was like rubber.It was a very disappointing experience at this Ten Ren Tea place.
