Team Ruben's Taco Catering

Great choice for our baby shower last weekend! There was a language barrier which caused a little miss communication, but at the end of the day Team Ruben delivered! They had three meats: carne, al pastor and chicken. IMO al pastor was the best one. AALLL the condiments. No chips. They make tacos and quesadillas. PRO TIP: ask for fried cheese on your taco before adding the meat... GAME CHANGER!For some reason, taco carts were hard to find in the Peninsula so I'm glad I bagged him. We provided them extra trays for any leftovers and they packed us leftover condiments! Def would recommend them for any group events for easy catering.

Team Ruben catered for a birthday party that I hosted. There were about 40 guests, and everyone was impressed by the food, service, and professionalism. They very were well prepared and arrived earlier/stayed later than expected. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to feed a large group for an event!

Team Ruben catered my daughters 2nd birthday party inside of Lemo's Farm yesterday, in Half Moon Bay, and let me tell you, they set up fast, cooked the food quickly and had so many condiments to accompany the delicious tacos, I couldn't count them with my fingers. It was a bit of a struggle at first confirming the booking because 80% of the communication was done via text between myself, Ruben and his daughter, but I'll remember for next time that it's just better to pick up the phone and call :) They provided three different kinds of meat (the chicken was the ultimate winner for us) and we added rice and beans to our order. We brought our own chips. Ruben was a life saver bringing extra paper plates, napkins, and utensils, because with all of the planning I did for this party, it totally slipped my mind to bring extra! Ruben is such a kind person who cooks up amazing tacos that are affordable! We also had a ton of left overs, so bring trays to take food to go! We are DEFINITELY booking him again and again and again. I highly recommend!

We decided to hire someone last min. I searched Yelp & contacted a couple people. Ruben replied quickly letting me know he was available & shared what his food options were & his pricing. He requested half for his dep. I was a bit uneasy about paying cash, but he did provide a receipt. He showed up early to set up and started cooking. His price included the plates & silverware. I provided the chips. Both Ruben & his son were very professional. His food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. He made a lot & we were able to keep all the leftovers. I would definitely recommend Rubens Tacos for your next event.

I am insanely happy that I booked Mr. Ruben for Taco catering. He is the sweetest and easiest guy to work with. He arrived 30 minutes early and left 30 minutes later after everyone was fed. He even left the rest of the meat for us Incase anyone got hungry! Amazing delicious food! The pork and the chicken were an absolute hit. All of the guests in my party were wowed! Thank you Ruben and team!

Team Ruben thank you so much for the delicious food!! Showed up right on time made such delicious food that I'm glad I requested extra everyone was going back for their 3/4th plate! So grateful for juan and Rubens tacos today! baby shower was a hit and he was so kind and did I mention the tacos were AMAZING! SALSA beans and rice!! Everything was perfect! No doubt will be hitting up again for next event! Thanks for everything!!

I am already looking forward to using Team-Ruben again. Food was excellent!! They were on time. The cooking surface on the cart was very clean. Their set up time was fast & very little wait for the food to be ready & served. They were extremely friendly. Because I requested rice & beans as an extra, it bumped the cost up a bit, but not outrageous. One more additional cost, just a few cold Coors Light's. I will definitely use them again!!
