Tasty Szechuan

Was in the area and got turned onto this place by a few friends. Was so good, we went twice in 2 days (once dine-in and once takeout). Both were amazingly good.Highlights: cilantro beef, dry hot pot, cumin lamb and spicy wontons. But everything else we got was good as well (although come prepared to eat some spicy food!)Service was warm and very good... was like dining at a family member's house. Would definitely recommend!

First time here, I searched on Yelp for wonton soup and Yelp lead me here Friend called in the order and was told order would be ready in 15 minutes I arrived and said my name (friend put the order under my name) well there was confusion because even though friend said my name the order was under my friends name that they got from the caller ID as my friend never left their own name So the cashier asked if the order was placed for that restaurant I said YES and just as I'm starting to get irritated the cashier realized the issue Wonton soup is good Hit the spot Shrimp fried rice was good Would I come back here again yes Prices are reasonable and food is good Parking can be hard to find Street parking only

Food was served out fast once I called in to order for pickup. Small sized restaurant. Delicious Szechuan food. Eggplant in garlic sauce was yummy with their rice. Shredded pork in garlic sauce went well with everything.Fish filet in hot chili oil warmed up my body in the winter season. One can't go wrong with ordering any of their delightful entrees!

Tasty Szechuan has large portions, very friendly waiters, and the food is super flavored and delicious. The fried chicken with chili peppers is spicy and savory. The beef noodle soup was clean and tasty. I had a lot to take home really affordable prices and super friendly servers so I think it's a perfect place for szechuan cuisine! The restaurant was simple and clean.

First time trying out Tasty Szechuan and ordered take out. Ordered the Pot Stickers, Pork Fried Rice, Cilantro Beef, and Szechuan Beef. Initial thought was, $70 for this little one bag of food? But, food was flavorful, and tasted very fresh. Not typical Chinese food takeout. Would order again, just not that often as it is a bit pricey.

Authentic Sichuan food right in Hayward!!! The hubby and I stopped by to grab lunch and they have a bunch of lunch special plates during weekdays. We got the sweet and sour ribs over rice for $12.95 and it was delicious! The ribs were fried to perfection and sauce was perfect. I got the spicy beef brisket noodle soup and it had the perfect amount of numbing spice. The only thing was that I wish the noodles were a bit more firm. But overall, it was a good bowl of noodles for less than $16!Parking could be difficult so we parked across the street at Luckys. Can't wait to be back to try more dishes.

I loveee numbing, spicy Szechuan food! It's like the one thing that my friend and I always get every time we hang out, even when we're travelling! And we ALWAYS get spicy fish fillet in hot oil and mapo tofu. Personally, I also love Szechuan style spicy fried chicken, so I also order that a lot. These spicy dishes are so flavorful and go sooo well with white rice. Guaranteed you will leave satisfied and perhaps in a food coma.Anyways, I've ordered these three dishes for takeout from Tasty Szechuan a bunch of times and also dined in twice. Each time, the flavor is always great! I wouldn't say it's the best Szechuan food I've ever had, but it always satisfies my spicy food craving. And I've never had it be too salty here, which sometimes happens at other places. It's a thin line between nice and flavorful and too salty with Szechuan food since there's so many spices!Since I live close by, I do prefer getting takeout over dining in since the restaurant is small and not the nicest looking, but it is clean. I do wish they'd get rid of the white hand towels that they use and just provide napkins instead since the chili oil on dishes can get a bit messy. Parking can be slightly challenging, but you could probably park in the Lucky's lot across the street.

A few months ago, we had friends in town who stayed close by to Tasty Szechuan, and they did take out. They really enjoyed it, and recommended it to us. We did take out, and it was tasty. First time trying out Tasty Szechuan, and we will definitely be back. When we called to place our order they told us our food would be ready in 10 mins. It took us about that long to drive there, and when we got there we had to wait just a little bit for them to finish up our order. We enjoyed everything we ordered. It was also tasty as a leftover!

Whyyy have I not eaten here before?! Every dish was fresh and delicious and delightfully spicy. Excellent service and love the interior. Can't wait to return.

I found this place on accident, by putting in wrong address on google lol! We ordered several dishes with the noodles, green beans, and Mongolian beef being my favorites. The chili chicken for me was not good. It's hard to describe but from what I can tell it is a very ginger forward dish and they are marinating the chicken in something which makes it taste rubbery.The severs were nice but there was a little bit of a language barrier. The waitress I met by the name of Lisa when I got lost was not there that dayOverall I would recommend !
