Okay so... I know a lot of you have seen my biryani picture. I know this is a small business and I'm rating the stars because the service was friendly and there seems to be fresh meat. However, I referenced photos from Yelp and Google Maps before coming and I was so excited to try the chicken biryani. I called in ahead and the entire process took 25 minutes.It was... uh... A bunch of lightly seasoned rice and some meat off the bone... I didn't check before I left the store, but I had a conversation with the cashier and she noticed I was buying something spicy. She warned me that the biryani wasn't spicy, to which I replied I knew. I don't know what was wrong with it that day or if it was supposed to be like this? Photos for reference.

Love their Tandoori chicken, can't get enough :) I've come here for the chicken over a dozen times now but my latest pickup was my biggest order yet. I ordered 15 pieces of uncooked Tandoori chicken for 5 people! The chicken was generously marinated and boasted a variety of spices. Everyone at the barbecue I hosted was satisfied.

Perfect biriyani! Both chicken and beef. Smells and tastes like Bangladesh. Definitely want to try other items too. It's s bit far from us unfortunately. Otherwise it would be our regular destination.

This is a local Bangladeshi grocery store which also makes delicious food. My mom has been coming here for a while and has never been disappointed by their quality of meat and fish. My parents always come here when they want to make lamb chops, goat curry or fresh chicken curry. Now, not many people may know this, but this place makes really good food as well! I HIGHLY recommend trying the goat biryani - it is bengali style. You will get yummy rice with fall off the bone goat meat. Whenever I go here I always make to order a few boxes are it is so delicious. I have also tried the desserts from here such as bengali yogurt and firni - and they have always been delicious as well. Support your local business, and if you haven't try some yummy food here - you will not be disappointed!

Clean Bangladeshi/ Indian Grocery store which also sells cooked meat/fish lite appetizers along with Biryani. Ordered 1 Chicken Gyro, 1 piece of Chicken kabob and was going to order few other things as first visit to this place. Was informed by the chef (gentleman behind the grill) that I cannot order 1 piece of chicken kabob...have to order 2 or more. I guess discrimination against quantity lol :). This was a turn-off so decided to get only 1 chicken gyro. Few mins later the same chef (gentleman) informed me that he already has 1 chicken gyro in stock as he made it for a delivery order few mins ago which he recommended I take OR wait 15 or so mins for a fresh one.Decided to take the one which was earmarked for someone else...it wasn't bad....just too much white sauce. Good value for $5.99. 4 stars for the chicken gyro. (Less white sauce next time)2 stars for the service 1 star(s) for refusing only 1 piece of chicken kabob1 star(s) for the experience on my first visitOverall 2 stars.

This is an amazing place for Indian Bangladeshi fish. They have Rohi, Hilsa, which they can clean and cut for you.They also have cooked chapli, seekh kabab, fried fish and biryani. This a 5 star grocery store in evergreen San Jose

It is a small business and we would like to support them. But unfortunately they jack up the prices so much more than other halal meat shops. For e.g. their cut chicken price is $5.99/lb and mostly bones since small chicken. I wish they don't charge more than other shops and keep prices consistant.

Goat meat is not consistently fresh .It hard to chew sometimes and she doesn't cut from the goat piece , gives you already cut meat which has more bone weight / bones with it Not going here anymore
