(4.5)Quite honestly, out of all the Los Perico's locations - this one is my favorite.I love to come to this place for the breakfast burrito. It's so loaded that it's a meal for two to share and usually coming in early in the morning - you can get anything from the loaded salsa bar. The service is always really good and food is make quick but not to the point it feels rushed.

(5 out of 5)I know it wasn't the best picture but this place is really good, the best sit down Mexican restaurant in my opinion, I've been going here since birth. I get a super quesadilla with extra al pastor. The service here is also amazing, right in the heart of downtown San Leandro there's a lot of other places in the area that I'd suggest checking out. They have an amazing salsa bar with a spicy lime onion I definitely suggest you try. When you come tell them Rothyy sent you!

I didn't realize there was a Los Pericos just down the street from the one in Pelton Center! I actually prefer this location because it's less busy--at least it was when I went--and it felt a little cleaner. I also noticed that the prices might be slightly lower. I ordered a chicken burrito, which came out to about $15. It wasn't a super burrito, but it would have been around $13 if I hadn't added guacamole. Next time, I'll skip the guac since they have a guacamole salsa I can just use instead. Overall, I really liked it and plan to come back. The only downside is the parking, which is just street parking, but there's plenty of space in the nearby shopping center. This is more of a mini review since I've only been once, but I'll probably update it after my next visit!

Really great Mexican restaurant in downtown San Leandro on E 14th! They have complimentary chips and salsa bar that you can enjoy before your order arrives. Of course, you can get as much as you want while you're eating too! I really like their chimichanga with chicken (pollo asada) and beef tongue (Lengua). The portions are HUGE. There's plenty of seating here. I left this place stuffed. It was all so delicious! Definitely one of my fave Mexican places to come to if I have cravings for Mexican food!

I've been here a few times before ... I always get the burritos and it's a hit or miss sometimes... just right or too much rice and very little meat but this time it was made right besides the fat from the steak gritsal ..customer service is always great the place is very clean and I would recommend

Super bummed out about this review , usually this place hits it out the park but today was not it .This is the second time in a row where they dropped the ball .Today I ordered Chile Verde burrito take out , got home 15 min later only to find they gave me an asada burrito with red sauce .Last time we ordered nachos with no sour cream and of course once we were home there was so much sour cream on the nachos .Because of this we always check the food before we leave but i was in a hurry today and couldn't bite the burrito lolWill try again next year Muy desanimado con esta critica, normalmente este lugar es un éxito, pero hoy no lo fue. Esta es la segunda vez consecutiva . Hoy pedí llevar un burrito de Chile Verde, llegué a casa 15 minutos después y descubrí que me dieron un burrito de carne asada con salsa roja. La última vez que paso esto, pedimos nachos sin crema y, por supuesto, cuando llegamos a casa había demasiada crema en los nachos. Por eso siempre revisamos la comida antes de irnos, pero hoy tenía prisa y no pude morder el burrito jajaja. @ Los Pericos, los intentaré de nuevo el año que viene.

This is Taqueria Los Pericos #5, located in San Leandro Plaza, not to be confused with Taqueria Los Pericos, located in nearby Pelton Plaza!! It's probably a 5 minute walk between the two places!So, obviously, the food in these 2 places taste pretty much alike. But this place is smaller, and when I've been, a little less busy. And I do think the service here is a little better also.I ordered a taco salad with shrimp, and I got my complimentary chips and salsa from the salsa bar.They put a decent amount of shrimp in my salad, and with the taco crust being my bowl, it was good and filling.This place has a real nice ambiance, with good artwork on the walls.I've been here a few times and the food is always good!!
