My husband likes going to Milpitas every once in a while to go to the great mall. We went to Legoland for the first time but stopped by here before getting our playtime started. I'm usually hesitant trying new restaurants specially when I haven't checked them out on Yelp or know the name. My husband picked this out just started driving. I'm so glad he did! They have a decent menu that I wish I can find online. The food came out fast and was delicious! My husband got a Torta, I got taco salad with carne asada, and we shared a coctel de camaron. The coctel was super fresh! The taco salad was Huge and really yummy - I shared with my son and he really liked it. I would love to come back here next time! I think they have chimichangas I saw on their screen that I would love to try. It's in a mall plaza so there's plenty of parking and it got progressively busier as we sat there and ate. People just kept coming in which was also a good sign. The restaurant is casual and has a lot of seating but it does get busy. You order first then find a seat and food is brought to you. There's a salsa station where you can self serve the salsa and sauces they have. Great place and would come back again!

Was looking for a Mexican restaurant nearby the hotel. There were a couple of options but decided to try this one. The menu seemed extensive so I opted for the chicken tostada salad.I've had much fair share of Mexican food so there was really nothing notable about this place. If anything, the price was worth noting that it was a little on the heftier price. I believe I paid $20+ for my order which just included a small drink.

Taqueria Los Cunados has been a longtime favorite of mine, and for good reason. I've been coming here for years, and it consistently delivers on affordability, flavor, and portion size. My go-to order is the carne asada plate, which never disappoints. The dish comes with two perfectly cooked, thin slices of juicy carne asada, flavorful rice, and hearty beans. I always add a side of sour cream, which takes it to the next level! At just $16, it's hard to beat the value--especially given the quality and how satisfying every meal is. The horchata is also a must-try: refreshing, perfectly sweet, and pairs wonderfully with the meal. On top of all that, the service is fast and efficient, making it a reliable spot for a quick, delicious bite. Taqueria Los Cunados will always be one of my go-to places when I'm craving a tasty, affordable meal. Highly recommend!

Surprised we haven't stumbled into this taqueria in Milpitas until recently. Near the shopping center with Walmart, Best Buy, PetSmart and former Living Spaces. Came in on a lazy weekend morning craving a breakfast burrito. The service was super friendly and pretty fast. The burrito was tasty and a good size. I made two meals out of it. We'll be back when we're in the area and craving Mexican.

TL;DR The place is very average in my opinion. I ordered super fish tacos, the fish was inedible, it was massively over cooked. The salsa was watered down. My husband had veggie taco salad he said it tasted good. The service was very quick. Bathrooms were clean.

Fast and friendly and super sized burritos! And don't forget to make it wet for $2 (if you're eating in, of course). Free chips and decent salsa bar. Only complaint is they can be a little light on the meat. I notice some of the complaints are from people ordering fried fish, salads.. come on... stick to the staples, people. Quesadillas, burritos, tacos... Good stuff.

Gonna go back for different cravings!Food,I've been a couple times, it's one of the Mexican restaurants, that sell beef tongue (lengua), here in Milpitas, it's made really good.The burritos here are huge, it's toasted just right here!If you want it wet too, it's just as good, with either red or green sauce or both.Large drinks here are also huge! Salsa bar - It has red, green, house, lime, etc.. House special 10/10 Food is clean here too.They make more unique meats and more foods here.Service,The workers here are really nice, I really appreciated, that they covered a few cents here, out of mistake of course.They bring the food here quick.They give your food, which is awesome service!Ambiance,You can watch TV here and not that loud of music.It has seating, for people with a group or with solo, in a bar like setting. It's modern here and has style here.They're really nice here, they bring the plate out & you can just clean up and leave.I would recommend it. It's my local favorite here for Mexican.

3.5 stars. There are so many Mexican restaurants in Silicon Valley. Some of my favorites are in the downtown area. This one is convenient for me as I work nearby and can be in and out for lunch quickly to head back to the office.I enjoy their shrimp cocktail and tend to order that each time. I make a pretty mean shrimp cocktail at home but when I don't have time to buy the ingredients and I feel like having one, this is where I usually pick it up.Simple and casual dining. Friendly staff.

Solid burrito place. They have self serve chips and salsa, which I love because I WILL eat enough salsa for it to count as a full serving of fruits and vegetables.Burrito itself was a good size, and they get points for having lengua.
