I received a chicken enchilada plate and chicken enchilada taco delivered from DoorDash. The food was fresh and yummy . It would be nice if the restaurant would add items to the menu platform on DoorDash to include options like side of rice, side of beans, side of the delicious homemade tortillas, side of sour cream, etc.The food was very good. Give this place a try you will be glad you did. Bon appétit

This is a long overdue review because I've been coming here for yearssssss! I can't say enough good things about this place. The menu offers a fantastic variety of authentic Mexican dishes, especially the tacos--which are packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. I always order 3 tacos de carne asada & they're phenomenal--the meat is tender, perfectly seasoned, & I always ask for el chile de aceite (ohh boy, my mouth is watering as I type). The handmade tortillas add that authentic touch, making every taco taste even better. You take a bite into your taco & the masa of the tortillas, the yummy steak, the chile oh geez. We have also tried the rice and beans which are just as delicious. Whether you're a fan of Mexican food or try it it for the first time, this taqueria is a must-visit. The restaurant is clean and now spacious since they've recently expanded the restaurant & they have a parklet if you want to enjoy some sunshine. And now they have the ice cream shop next door with yummy sweet treats. And to make it all even better, their very own tortilleria that also sells carnitas & frijoles puercos.I got an order of the carnitas, beans & tortillas--an easy and delicious dinner for the family. This is all owned & run by a hard-working family & they serve authentic, quality food...really proud of their successes as I've seen it all grow!

Parking lot it small So Parking is hard to come by When you walk in you first place your order and pay and they give you a number and you try n find somewhere to sit When your order is ready the server hollers out your number My friend and I tag teamed it She stood in line I found us seats and she ordered $24 for chicken flautas ( no rice or beans) Flautas were legit Nice and crispy We got Micheladas Beer was kinda warm Not other liquor is served only beer No chips n salsa available either It took about over 20 min for our order for come out with the being said there is a sign saying food order is not microwaveable lol So I guess patient is a virtue There are several TV posted up all of them showing the same channel and it was Mexico vs Brazil, I was not mad at it lol There is outside seating a little parklet and also vendors outside selling empanadas and queso Will I come back .....YES LOL

What's not to love about a taco plate? We came here after doing a local hike on a weekday and this was a convenient option due to it being open late (closing 9 pm on a Monday) with lots of parking and a menu with lots of options.Service was friendly and even gave us complimentary cups of consome when we asked to try some. It went great with my taco meal - the lengua was nice and supple, and the rice and beans paired nicely with the flavors. The hibiscus agua fresca was a refreshing drink option and they have many other flavors available. It wasn't very busy when we went, but I imagine this Mexican joint is a favorite with locals. Prices are reasonable and it's conveniently located in Hayward.I recommend coming here if you're craving tacos or a quick bite to eat for lunch or dinner.

I came here early morning when they opened to have breakfast with my friends. My friend suggested this place because he said their menudo is really good. I honestly didn't agree with him. Though portion size was good and they were generous with the tripe, it lacked a whole lot of flavor. It was just bland. I added salt, but it didn't make it any better. I did however, really enjoyed the beef knuckle that I had requested to be added to my menudo. Service was quick and the workers are super nice! I would come back to try other things from their menu when I have time to drive out there. When we left, my other friend realized she had left her purse behind. When we went back, they had placed her purse safely behind the counter.

Best Mexican hole in the wall in Hayward as they serve fresh menudo daily!!! You know it's good if there is constantly a long line out the door to order. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they forgot about my dish and my sister and BIL had to wait like 15 minutes to eat their dishes once I finally got my dish. They have a taco stand in the patio area that serves fresh tacos de suadero, tripa and chamorro which is beef brisket, intestines and head. Perfect for pairing with their micheladas or margaritas. My sister and BIL sware by their barbacoa and menudo and I have to agree as the flavor of both broths is pretty damn close to our mother and grandmother's authentic Mexican flavors. Barbacoa is thick cut brisket slow steamed in its own juices and a mildly spicy red Chile broth that's oh so savory. The menudo (beef stomach) is also delicious as the mildly spicy red Chile broth makes your heart warm and mouth water. This style of menudo comes with no hominy which is normal for the Bay Area. I'm used to the inclusion of hominy with my families recipe and in LA but it's still delicious. It actually doesn't matter that it's missing hominy because all the dishes come with 5 extra large fresh tortillas on the side. More than enough. I got their mar y Tierra fajitas and they didn't disappoint. The skirt steak, chicken breast and shrimp were all thinly sliced so I could get a piece of each in every bite. I like that the red and green bell peppers were so much in quantity that it didn't overpower the dish. The spices were on point. The rice and beans were also tasty and authentic. The fried Mexican red rice was popped to perfection. I think the refried beans are Peruvian and not pinto beans which makes them more puréed but they're still good. I highly recommend this hole in the wall Mexican family run women run restaurant when in the East Bay Area!!!

I have been coming for years to this restaurant but I always forget to write a review, since the moment I step in I forget about everyone because the family owned restaurant they treat you like you are part of their family, they have the best menudo but I love to ask for their Shrimp plate, also known as Camarones a la plancha they are my favorite which comes with rice and refried beans with its side salad and this spicy sauce which it's so good. There is always good music playing all the time and it feels and smells like as if you were at home, with freshly home made warm tortillas. Try it you won't regret it!!!

Please do not order soup from 7 seas because they will give you shrimp soup and charge you too much and they only put shrimp in it and they still do not take care of hygiene. I got a piece of plastic bag. Please be careful.
