I've been coming here since I was in high school.When I was pregnant, I pretty much came here almost every day during Covid, and now my daughter and I come here a few times per quarter. I always order whatever soup they have on the menu and a couple tacos to share. Brought my mom here and she got nachos.I've always had a great experience with everybody who has worked there, the restaurant is dated but when the food is consistently good it doesn't really matter

Always always always will be the top Mexican spot in my book that I judge all burritos against. Recently went here after being away for awhile and it's still as good as ever if not better. The chips and salsa are top tier as well!

I ordered a Complete Carnitas Meal with flour tortillas, only to find out that they gave me corn tortillas instead.When I call to ask them about my order, the cashier lady tells me that the meal only comes with corn tortillas.So, I drove back to the restaurant to exchange my tortillas. She asked for me to pay an additional $2. If that was the case, it would have save me 8 miles of gas and 30 minutes.Please check your order when you leave, or else?I should have stuck with my go to stop Mi Tierra Market across the street, but they didn't have ready made beans. Their Carnitas is much better.

I heard great things about this place so I decided to try it. Ordered tacos and rice and beans.The rice had no flavor super bland and was whiter than my red Mexican rice at other places.Beans and tacos weren't bad but weren't my favorite. It was also the end of the night before closing so I don't think the quality of food is the greatest.We will try again and see it it's any better

Literally shredded beef burrito has my heart! Chips and salsa is dynamite and it's surely enough for another little meal the next day! The burrito is about the size and length of a forearm and I believe it's priced well. Always busy and super polite!

Great old school Mexican food place. This place has survived and thrived no matter what. Great portions and prices. Staff is always happy and nice.The tacos are my fave and tortas. I like the asada tacos and tortas de milanesa. The agua frescas vary and today the agua de fresa (strawberry) was amazing. The agua de horchata is another fave.Parking can get tough but be patient. Dinner is usually calmer than lunch time. Lots of seating and options. You can also call ahead and pick up.

Used to love this place. Used to have friendly service. Today...I checked my order prior to walking out...missing an entire meal. I go back to the counter with my receipt. I'm then questioned like I'm a liar and asked to bring my bag back up to the counter so they can look inside. Why would I lie about a taco??! Will NEVER come here again. They didn't treat any of their own people in this manner.

I used to come here often for the chicken Caldo. But this is my last time. Almost $29 for CHICKEN soup with the smallest pieces of chicken and barley any veggies. They used to fill up your container with meat and veggies and then after broth. I feel like now they're feeling it over broth and barely giving you anything else in an effort to squeeze out more of your money for less product. I'll stick to Las Puerto ricos for my beef stew and there's a gas station on high Street those ladies give you plenty of boneless chicken with veggies and potatoes great tasting broth for around $11. If I were you I would go there instead this place is ripping people off might I add their rice is not good. If you have small piece of the chicken today then throw in an extra piece and make it worth the money that you're charging it's ridiculous.

i stopped by yesterday february 3rd 2025 and they were closed. there was a large note on the front door in spanish so i do not know what it said but i did see the word immigration. does anyone know what has happened there ? its one of my favorite places to go and eat mexican food, and the folks there are always kind to me.
