Taqueria El Jarocho

Taco Tuesday: $1.5 per! I'm giving this a 4 star because the amount of meat was pretty small, but for 1.5 it's alright.I've seen other places load it on for that price. Nonetheless it was good, I loved that the chorizo wasn't super oily like other places I've had it at before!It took maybe 5 minutes for my food to be done :).

I didn't know there were 2 Taqueria El Jarocho and that this was the first.The second one on mission closed and I was pretty bummed because 1.50 tacos were my go to on Tuesday but I'm happy I found the first to get my taco fix.The burritos are my second faves and the prices are way cheaper than any other taqueria I've been to so far.The restaurant is clean and has plenty of room for a good size group.I saw over dozen tables to sit in and enjoy some food.Staff are friendly and fast.

Carne Asada Super NachosLooked great but unfortunately did not taste great.Not enough bean & cheese.The meat itself was flavorless.I finished it all because I was very hungry but I'll give it a 3/5.

My buddy and I stopped by for Taco Tuesday and let me tell you, these $1 tacos were amazing!!! There were juicy, soft, and the meat proportion was perfect! You have to check out this spot, make sure to order one of each!This is a highly recommend for me!

I went here a lot during the reopening of pandemic around August to October 2020. Let me tell you if you not Mexican or Latino or don't look Latino they treat you differently and acts a certain way to people depends if they think they can bully you around or disrespect you. I ask simple question or napkins and cashier would give me attitude. It's like racism existed when I was here. Also the tacos given to me all the time is mostly burnt. The inside is spacious but has a smell and tables are sticky and dirty.

HAPPY TACO TUESDAY !! $1 tacos are the best!! I haven't had tacos in forever, and I was skeptical at first because I've never been here but it did not disappoint! Below is a list of everything I got! Al pastor tacos were well seasoned and it came with just the right amount of salsa. I loved every bite of it and wished I got more! Carnitas were delicious! It could use a bit more seasoning but I still enjoyed it! The Verde sauce complimented the carnitas well too! Overall, I would come back! Maybe after finals LOL I recommend trying it out, especially on Tuesdays!!

Tacos were a little on the small side and we asked for the onions and cilantro on the side for the 7 or 8 tacos that we ordered, but got home to find out it had been left out..... I'm not driving back for cilantro and onions. That was sort of annoying.They have a taco tuesday deal. Double check, but I think they are $1.50 for the regular meats (Carnitas, Carne Asada, Chicken, etc.). Seafood and lengua are not included.Inside is bare bones and has no ambiance. It takes a little bit to get your food, I think they cook all orders one by one to order.I'm curious how their burritos are and might go back to try one. I was hoping this would become my go to taco spot in the area.

I so regret eating here because the food was terrible. The place is small and looked a bit dingy, but I was so hungry that it didn't bother me much. I ordered the chilaquiles with egg, and when it was brought out to me, it looked like the saddest plate of chilaquiles I've ever seen. The tortilla chips were super mushy and dry. No sauce at all. Just a pile of soggy flavorless chips with 2 overcooked eggs on top. How hard is it to cook an egg? My bf ordered the chorizo burrito and it was the nastiest burrito I've ever tasted. Mushy, greasy, and unseasoned chorizo filled the flour tortilla, that eventually fell apart because it was so greasy. Its rare that we dont finish our food when eating out, but it was so bad here that we basically flushed 30+ dollars down the drain, because that food went straight to the trash. Save your money and go elsewhere.
