Also included are pickled jalapeno and slices of fresh radish, with lime, as well as packets of their house-made red salsa.

I had been here on two separate occasions: once in 2015, and then again recently in 2024. What a difference a near-decade makes! When I came in 2015, the food wasn't anything remarkable. 9 years later, I was on the hunt for nachos that used real shredded cheese instead of the canned/jarred cheese you find in grocery stores, and alas - Taqueria Camino Real came up in my Yelp search! When I say my stomach was delighted to find a place serving nachos supreme with real cheese, I was literally jumping for joy. I called in my order, and $11.95 and 15 minutes later, I had my order. First off: $11.95 is a STEAL for food right now. With inflation leaking into every part of our lives, you count your blessings in the little ways... food included. lolSecond off: THE NACHOS WERE BOMB.The meat was seasoned perfectly, ingredients were fresh, and every single bite left me wanting more! I'm so thrilled to have rediscovered a solid spot for nachos supreme in our area. I have yet to try the rest of their menu, but something has certainly changed with Taqueria Camino Real in recent years. They are excellent for take-out! Be sure to call in your order ahead of time.

We came here on a weekday afternoon and I thought the food was way off base than what I've remembered. We ordered an enchiladas plate and a taco plate. The meat was really chewy and not marinated well -- we didn't enjoy our tacos or enchiladas. I thought maybe it might be because we went a little after lunch but then we saw that the place was pretty busy. So then we thought maybe it might just be an off day. But even the beans and rice were bland. We were not happy with the food. It just wasn't good food. To their credit though, the veggie quesadillas that I've had here are good. I'm just surprised that the other plates here are just so off base.

I visited Taqueria Camino Real on a weekday at around lunchtime. A few customers were eating inside at that time. I waited only a few minutes to order my food. I got three chicken tacos, which came out pretty fast. They were decent-sized and the chicken was well-seasoned. They only gave me a little tiny container with green salsa which was not enough for all three of my tacos. Maybe I could have asked for more but I wish they provided more salsa (bigger container). Also, in my opinion, the tacos were overpriced. The staff was friendly and the place looked clean. There were plenty of tables inside. No outdoor sitting. Parking is easy. There is a parking lot available for the entire plaza.

Without a doubt, some of the best tasting Mexican food in San Lorenzo!!Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you, their food is fresh and flavorful. I had their shrimp taco salad a few times, very good. And their veggie burrito was one of the best I've ever had.I do like how they have pictures of the food on the wall, and yes, the food does look exactly like the pictures!!Located in a small plaza across the street from Walmart, every time I come here, I get very friendly service. Their Mexican rice is so good, you can eat it by itself. Definitely come here!!

The food her was good. Nice areas to sit at. Very roomy inside shopping area next to grocery outlet and Starbucks.the cashier was nice only complaint was no tissue was in bathroom and no locks on door so you worry about someone walking in on you. No garbage can or canon paper towels the dispenser was empty.mom noticed the staff so they can take care of.someone went to address the no tissue paper
