Tacos La Morenita

I've lived here for over three decades, and can't believe this is my FIRST time trying this spot. I had some relatives visiting and they wanted to try out a quintessential California experience - ordering lunch from a taco truck. There are a number of excellent taco spots in the South Bay area, and this one was the closest. We tried a variety of their tacos, including the fish taco, carne asada, pollo asado, and carnitas. Their pollo asado super burrito was delicious - warm and filling, and even half of it was enough for lunch. The tacos were all freshly made and beautifully garnished. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, and it's a spot frequented by locals.

Came by for lunch the other day and it was a tasty experience. Tacos La Morenita is parked on the side of the road and there were plenty of Hispanic blue-collar workers patronizing the taco stand while in their work uniform.Ordered a carne asada super quesadilla and it was huge, perfect for sharing! The quesadilla was filled with steak and cheese and came with a small side salad and some guacamole.Also ordered a couple shrimp tacos which was also quite tasty. Each shrimp taco had a ton of flavorful and tasty shrimp and was topped with some vegetables and avocado!Staff speak English and they also take credit cards!There is no dine-in option. Most seem to do take away and eat on the grass...

I really like the Tacos they are brilliant. I worked nearby and I came for lunch whenever I have a chance!

This is one kick-butt taco truck. I popped in on the way to the airport to pick up a bite, but was almost stopped in my tracks long enough to miss my flight.I ordered three super tacos, Al Pastor, which is plenty of food for one person. Because for street tacos, these tacos are substantial. They got them to me pretty fast, and the guy running the cart is gracious and speaks outstanding Spanish and English interchangeably. These are may be the second best tacos I've had in the South Bay , which is saying something, because I do eat a lot of tacos around here. Oh, the only thing that could be better is if there were some tables outside to sit on - there's just a curb, which makes the experience a little more legit, I suppose, but I was wearing nice pants, and I did not in particular feel like sitting on the curb. Overall though I would stop by again anytime.

I'm a park ranger in Cupertino and these kind folks were hired to cater an Apple event at my Park. I can say without a doubt these were some of the best food truck tacos I have ever tried! The flavor was there, the variety was great, and all the sauces were well made.All the staff in the truck are super welcoming and excited to make recommendations, I don't think I would have been disappointed with anything on their menu.If they ever return or I'm in San Jose I will definitely go back!

Best tacos ever, at least locally. I don't know of any other place that makes them this good. And you know it's delicious when everyone else in line is hispanic and ordering everything in Spanish. While I've also tried the burritos, the pupusas, and even the hot dog, the super tacos are my absolute favorite. Great salsa, lots of meat, they always have lengua in stock, and I get full just off of 2 tacos. As for the other items, the pupusas are also pretty good, but I do wish the outside dough was just a bit crunchier. Friendly service, and if you get lucky, you can also call ahead because I don't think I've ever seen this truck without a line.

Did not know how I let this taco truck slip through my list. Stop by today to get lunch, ordered 3 tacos and they were tasty. A bit of wait as there is a long line of people. When you see a lot of work trucks gathering around a taco truck, 9 out of 10 the truck is legit. I ordered a Carne Asada taco, a shrimp taco and a pastor taco. They are full of flavor and great taste. Price is very reasonable and staff is friendly. Their orange sauce kicks ass. I will be sure to come back to try other menu items.

We used to grace this taco truck more often until it became more popular since it's just around the street from where we live.The growing popularity is a testament to their delicious tacos and we used to be able to call in our order and it be ready for pick up! Nowadays, there's not much use to calling in your order as they don't make it ahead of time until you get there and pay. Expect to wait ~20-30 min depending on how many customers they have waiting regardless.Their tacos are what we typically get and they're all good and affordable!Haven't tried much of their other items aside from their pupusas which was also good!

Best taco truck in the area, better than the options in mt view and Sunnyvale. I wish they were open for dinner All the employees are super friendly and responsive.
