Tacos La Calle

I usually go to Yelp first for new recommendations in the area, but Tacos La Calle came up in my Instagram feed and I made a mental note to order from them the next time we were in the mood for takeout.They DID NOT DISAPPOINT. We ordered the quesabirria tacos, birria ramen, birria torta, and a lengua super burrito through Doordash for pick up. It's safe to say I've found my new favorite burrito in the area! Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I used to go to taco trucks and always expected mediocre food, but Tacos La Calle is certainly a step up above the rest.

Went there for a burrito, they advertise thier pastor. I got a regular Pastor burrito. The burrito is on the smaller side and their highlight the Pastor was completely dry.....Another negative is its right by a school and a bunch of kids just go and ruin the line for ordering and pick up, not worth the hassle at lunch.

Food 3/5I suddenly wanted to try quesabirria tacos for at least a week now. I found this place in DoorDash. I was out and about and decided to place a pickup order. For me the quesabirria tacos were just ok. The meat was tender and juicy but the flavor wasn't present. The combo came with chips. They were store bought and my particular bag wasn't fresh. Service 5/5Service was superb!! The man working the window was exceptionally pleasant and provided high quality service. When my order was ready he called my name. He then asked if I wanted the jalapeños and carrots, if I wanted chips. He asked about salsa and which kind. And finished with is there anything else I can get you. That there is what you call a customer experience. He made sure to ask, offer and provide what I needed or wanted. LOVE IT!! Keep being amazing to your customers. Ambiance 4/5 Is a Taco truck outdoors in a nice size parking lot. Ours large enough to offer parking for about 9-12 cars, separate outdoor dining tables. A tent cover for when the weather is wet. The menu on the truck is clear and clean to read.

The food here is bomb AF! I love how UberEats app have promotions, like BOGO for their burrito. Going in person was not bad as well! There is parking and a little outdoor seating.I highly recommend ordering ahead through the UberEats App if you don't wait. It's a little safer to go there before sunset as well.

Love that they have their own space for parking and large seating area. Service was also friendly and we got our food pretty fast after ordering. Keep in mind they only take cash or Venmo.Tried the Al pastor and lengua regular tacos. Both were good with lots of flavor. But the carne asada meat were slightly dry in my opinion. Super tacos come with additional sour cream.

Tacos La Calle is a solid taco spot. I love that it's super close to my house, so it super convenient for takeout. Obvs can't let my tacos get cold and soggy before I get home!My fave item here is the quesabirria. It is super flavorful and cheesy, and I love the corn tortilla. Next would be the lengua tacos. Lengua tacos are my faveee. But I also love al pastor tacos, and I couldn't remember which ones tasted good here. Well it's def the lengua tacos! The meat is super tender and the flavors end up working out well. The salsas here aren't my fave since they taste a bit too tart, but the red one has a nice smoky flavor. The flavor of the al pastor here is not as good as the ones at tacos el gordo, so I'd stick with the lengua.I also got the carne asada fries this time, which were not bad. I did ask for no sour cream though, but I guess they forgot... overall not bad but a bit too much. I would have preferred a half order option.

Tacos La Calle is a taco truck with it's own mini parking lot and dining area of 9 wooden tables. Menu posted on truck. Zelle, Venmo, ca$h only.Offerings: tacos, burritos, veggie items, tortas, drinks, steak fries, birria, Nachos, quesadillas...After ordering, paid with a $20 bill. Got change for $10. Told her i gave her a $20. She pulled $10 from the till, showed me. I showed her empty spot in wallet where the $20 came from. She gave me $10.Eats: al pastor tacos (3.50), lengua taco (4.50)-lengua was moist, had slight flavor. Wrapped in 2 housemade tortillas tasting doughy. Garnished with fried jalapeno, cilantro, roasted potato portion, red onions, lime squeeze & radish. Topped with fried tortilla chip, yellowish green quac-like salsa slightly spicy. Al pastor didn't have much flava, overwhelmed by quac salsa, tortillas taste. Has less toppings than lengua. Passed on horcata as only aqua fresca offered. 2.5 stars. No ambiance present on truck nor parking area. The shortchange episode doesn't inspire me to repeat. Pricing & food easily duplicated elsewhere with better results.

I ordered Nachos and crazy fries around 8pm, I guess it's close to closing time, what I suggest is not to order here around that time, I specifically asked to leave the jalapeños and anything spicy on the side cuz I cannot tolerate it, my lips swells up big time, (I really wished I took a picture) and the steak was super oily mixed with melted cheese, how the hell am I gonna eat it with jalapeños overloaded nachos? Maybe for some customers they love the food and place but I'm never going back, it's really SAD cuz all their menu pictures looks very appetizing and the place is welcoming.

Still my go-to spot but this past Saturday I tried their tacos de chicharrón and omfg I was in heaven! I actually only bought 2 and 2 de lengua but I was like "I'm not leaving here unless I have one more." I ordered one more and it was perfect. Literally the perfect send off..... so good that I think it would be the last meal I eat before I die....

Birria soup is the BEST paired with a birria quesadilla. If you love spicey, request the habanero salsa - its fire!! Service is awesome and they have outdoor seating with bocce ball for the kids.
