Just went back and brought my boyfriend and his friend to celebrate his belated birthday. They have never gone but I'm a repeat customer. The guys ordered guac & chips, Cali burrito Al pastor & Cali burrito asada. I ordered the loaded house special asada fries again because why not.I was surprised to find out that the Cali burrito is made with tater tots rather than fries at typical burrito places. Glad for it cause usually places salt their fries then add it to the Cali burrito and it's way too salty and super difficult to get thru taste wise. I'd probably order the loaded tater tots next time or a Cali burrito. I got a bite and flavor was there! Guac was super fresh, bright green, and chonky--how I like it! Place is as clean as can be as always. I followed their IG page as advertised on the register and I got a free fountain drink. Bonus: they happened to be testing out a new item, Birria Taco Melt, and the family-owned business offered us all a taco while we were waiting in line. It was literally amazing. I told them as soon as Birria, Shrimp, and Fish are on the menu I'll be running back here cause the Birria was 10/10 bomb dot com!If you haven't visited Taco Fino Express, get over there asap cause they cooking up some new options including frescas.SYOY,Kat

I ordered take out for pick up and the staff were extremely friendly on the phone and in person. My husband and I ordered a asada burrito and asada taco and carnitas taco. Super reasonably priced food and not greasy. They also offered plethora of salsas and pickled jalapeños and carrots. Ambiance is neat and clean. Parking is a little difficult since it's on a busy street.

Taco Fino Express opened where Liguini's Pizza once was. A taco truck translated to a 2 section eatery with ample seating & eye-catching decor. Offerings (Mexican): tacos, bowls, quac & fries, quesadillas, soft drinks, cali burrito. Same as taco truck? Prompt courteous service @counter. Food ready pronto...it seems. Bites: al pastor/asada tacos (@3.50) -street taco size. Garnishes of lime squeeze, jalepenos, salsa, onions, cilantro.-pastor pieces chewy with fruity salsa-asada slightly more tender abid not juicy. -probably leftovers from previous day. Arrived late morning soon after they opened. 3.5 stars menu typical of taco trucks though many have very large menus. *probably got them on an "off" time. Best to go after lunch or whenever "new" meats are prepared.

1506 Park St Alameda, CA 94501"Taco Fino Express" is a fast-casual mexican restaurant with a simple menu. The interior is clean and bright, with plenty of tables. Featured in the dining room is a hand-made model of the Park Street Bridge, complete with little vehicles. I've been to this place twice so far. The first time, I ordered the Cali-Burrito w/ steak. The burrito has tater tots instead of fries. The flavor was okay, and was easy to eat. The size was average for the price. I don't think I would order it again. My second visit, i ordered the nachos w/ carnitas. Lots of meat and toppings on top of a bed of chips. Very good! I enjoyed my order of nachos. Service was very fast and friendly. The place is still in it's soft opening phase, and I hope they add more dishes to their menu. I'll check back in a few weeks. Taco Fino Express is near Park St & Santa Clara Ave. Street parking only

Date: 1/11/2025 Time: 3:30 PM 67° SunnyTaco Fino Bar popped up on one of the Facebook groups where I am a member. They just opened yesterday, so I decided to come in for a late lunch. After perusing the menu board, it did not take me long to decide what I have a taste for on a sunny afternoon. One bowl with my favorite fixings, please. (Spanish rice, pinto beans, seasoned asada, cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream). Price: $13.00. All ingredients are freshly prepared.Specialties: the usual fare of tacos, burrito (Cali, veggie), quesadillas, fino fries, nachos. Meat choices consist of asada, al pastor, pollo pastor and carnitas. Sides are chips 'n salsa, chips 'n guacamole and rice 'n beans. Bottled beverages and water are available in refrigerator. Soda fountain beverages are located in next section of the restaurant.Indoor and outdoor seating available. Guesstimate of seating capacity: 25 to 35 people. Ambiance is comfy and casual. Mexican music playing...nice. Restaurant is well lit and cleanliness is a plus. The replica of the Park Street Bridge is cool. Love it.Customer service is excellent. It's a family owned business. Employees are friendly and helpful. Welcome to Alameda.Future visits: Most definitely! I will have to bring my sister here for lunch. I'm looking forward to the Fino fries. Yum!

I'm really happy to see something good finally move into the old Linguini's space, and Taco Fino is a solid addition. It's small, family-owned, and the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming when I stopped by. Definitely the kind of place I want to see succeed. So why a 4/5 and not higher? Well, opening a taqueria on Park Street is tough--there's already a lot of good competition. But Taco Fino clearly did their homework and found their lane. They're not trying to compete with the best taqueros across the bridge; they're here to fill a gap in Alameda's food scene. The menu leans Americanized Mexican--think nachos, burritos, Chipotle-style bowls--which makes sense for the area. It works, and I totally get why they went that route. It's just not the kind of place I'd put in my top-tier taco list.Right now, they offer four meats--carne asada, al pastor, pollo pastor, and carnitas. I had a carnitas bowl and a carne asada taco, and I have to say, the quality of the meat is noticeably better than most other taquerias in the area. It was perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.The space itself is nice--a little seating, but it feels more like a to-go spot. The standout for me? The salsa. They have an orange-ish hot sauce that is seriously spicy--the kind of heat I love. If you're into hot sauce, it's a must-try.Pricing is fair and in line with other places on Park Street, and given the ingredient quality, I think it's a great value. It's not the kind of place I'd go to for a street taco experience, but for a solid meal with great ingredients, it's worth checking out. I'll be back, and I'll definitely be drenching my food in that hot sauce again.

Went to try Taco Fino for lunch and I'm glad I did as they just opened recently. We ordered the following:- Regular burrito - **** it was ok- Cali burrito w/al pastor - ***** a must try. It has tater tots in it.- Fino fries - it was good, nothing special. Just fries in place of chips for the nachosI would have to say the service was very good. The ladies at the counter were very welcoming and friendly. Answered any questions my kid had about the menu. There's fountain soda or bottled soda available. Overall, they food hit the spot and we would return to try the tacos. Give this place a try, you will enjoy the baja offerings.

Well lit inside and theres plenty of seating. The service was good, plenty of napkins and utensils in my bag. The food tasted fresh, rice just came out so that was a plus. Who ever made the guac deserves a hug and a beer. 9/10 on the guacamole. I got the steak bowl, i think the pieces were a little small but pack flavor and wasn't too salty. They gave a good amount of food and the beans were really delicious as well as the vegetables and nothing was over cooked.Comes with a tostada on the side that was crispy and tasted like it didn't sit out for too long. Everything tasted great! Not sure if the guac was extra(im pretty sure) but it wasn't on the menu or disclosed. Total came out to $16.34, a little up there. Nice family ran spot in town, moms got it down, now to get everyone else in line.

The burrito at Taco Fino is an absolute delight! Each bite is a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The tortilla is soft and pliable, perfectly wrapping around a generous filling of seasoned rice, tender beans, and fresh vegetables. The addition of melted cheese and a touch of tangy salsa takes it to the next level. Whether you're a fan of classic ingredients or looking for something new, this burrito is sure to satisfy your cravings. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a delicious and hearty meal!
