Quick. Affordable. Delicious. Enough said! Support local businesses with good food! It's easily missed. But I'm glad they're always there for a decent lunch.

This place can easily be overlooked but thankfully they have a huge sign that helped me locate the building while driving. It's in the same plaza as Denny's and near an autoshop!I went around 5pm and a lot of their hot foods (like eggrolls), and pre-packaged food were sold out. Looks like they were closing up even though Yelp has their hours listed as 7pm for closing time.I ordered a bbq pork banh mi. The baguette is on the smaller side (about 6 inches) but very soft! All the components of a banh mi were executed nicely so nothing to complain about. They have other sandwiches as well. I paid $6.01 using my card for one sandwich but they have a cash incentive that would've brought my total down to $5.81. Not a bad price for a sandwich and it took less than 5 minutes to make. Then again it was just me who ordered so not sure if wait time varies.Parking was easy, there's a huge parking lot. Overall, satisfied with my meal and I'd come back.

I am here to get a quick lunch to go. Prices are low ($5.25 for #1 combination). The sandwich is actually quite small. Flavors are good but nothing special. They go heavy on the pickles, which are also on the sweeter side.I liked that the bread smaller/thinner which doesn't get in the way of the ingredients. It has a nice crunchy. However, I wish it with a little lighter and airier, which would make the bite easier without squishing out the filling.I suspect their European filling sandwiches would be better with this kind of small but dense baguette.I would come here again, but only in a pinch. Not my preferred spot.Service was very fast!

I feel the need to write this review based on the inappropriate service I received when I visited 1/9/25. I saw the egg rolls in the display case so I purchased 2 and asked for fish sauce to go with it instead of sweet & sour packet they usually give, which the lady said ok. I ordered my #11 like I normally do. When my order was ready I paid and searched for the fish sauce so i asked the lady who looked like she was in a bad mood and she replied "we have no fish sauce!" So I told her ok you should have said so in the beginning so J told her that I want to be refunded and returned the egg rolls so i removed them from my bag, that's when she opened the cash register to toss $2.00 on the counter which I thought was disrespectful. What Vietnamese food establishment doesn't have fish sauce??? I would've gladly paid for the sauce as extra but to be rudely acknowledged by saying they have none proved how ignorant this woman really is. The man who is usually there is more friendlier and in the past gave me a side of the fish sauce- no problem. Why not provide fish sauce in a smaller to go container and charge .25 or .50 cents extra??? This stone faced lady clearly needs some charm school training- to toss money at me was rude and disrespectful .

Bánh mì and pate chaud (bánh pate so) are my favorite Vietnamese appetizers just happened to come upon T&D Sandwiches which is right across from Denny's restaurant in a large shopping mall. Being a first time customer I was greeted very warmly and quite surprised how cheap their banh mi and drinks were definitely a place for those on a shoestring budget. The menu consist both European and Asian sandwiches prices range from $5.25 to $6.25 far cheaper than its competitors they even have Vietnamese noodle soup. For $5.25 I had the #5 grill pork sandwich comes with veggies served on a baguette along with pork eggrolls and pork pate chaud smaller in size crunchy, crispy lots of fillings and a cup of Vietnamese iced coffee for $5.50. Totally satisfied and very fulfilling definitely hits the spot.

The good:Vietnamese sandwiches are a perfect balance of texture and flavors (salty, sour, spicy, sweet). My mom's friend introduced us to this spot so we visited after enjoying some of their sandwiches at home. We got the deli cut banh mi thit sandwiches (with pate and head cheese) and they were pretty good. My brother was a huge fan of them and said it was nostalgic to eat because it most resembled the banh mi thit sandwiches he recalls growing up with. My mom agreed that the thit nguoi (deli meat) here was better than our usual sandwich spot (Duc Huong). Their menu is nice because there are lots of photos. They sell other savory snacks as well. The bad:The bread is crunchier/airier at Duc Huong. This isn't a place you'd want to eat at. It's good for take-out. The interesting:The interior doesn't look like a typical bánh mì shop. It basically vaulted ceilings and a factory feel wjth the exposed ovens and kitchen area.

We ordered a chicken teriyaki #19from the menu. This is one of the best Sandwiches ever! The Man at the counter was so nice and knowledgeable! He even let us try the veggies from the sandwich which was awesome! I do not know his name but he did say he had worked in Hawaii and he schooled us on the Vietnamese sandwiches which I thought was as really cool! Next time I'm in the Fremont area of course I will visit!

T&D Sandwiches is located in Fremont.I was looking for Banh Mi, and this place came up. It's a mom-and-pop shop that bakes their bread fresh in-house. Along with Banh Mi, they make European Sandwiches, Breakfast Sandwiches, and Pho.I placed my order. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were inexpensive ($5.25 per Sandwich). My Sandwiches were ready in mere minutes. They sell appetizers / snacks / desserts as well. The Sandwiches were good. I'll be back to try out their Pho and Breakfast Sandwiches.

I was reaaaaaally hungry so I deviated from a further bahn-mi place and came across this one. I mean $5-6 for a sandwich? Hella affordable.I'm not gonna lie, I was a little surprised to see how grimy it looked when I walked in. The floor wasn't exactly shiny, the fridges were foggy and gray, and part of the menu is tattered and faded. There's not really a dining area, but there are a few chairs that are unstacked (next to a couple stacks of chairs) that you can sit in while you wait. I recommend standing and taking it to go. The cashier came to the front. The first thing she does is point to the sign in front of the register."This business has a 3.50% Cash Discount Incentive built into all pricing. Any purchase made with a credit card will not receive the Cash Discount and an adjustment in cost will be displayed on your receipt." I didn't have any cash so I paid with card. FYI: They have to walk a few feet away to run it at a near counter rather than in front of you.The wait wasn't long, so I was out in less than 10mins.VEGETARIAN BAHN-MII originally came in for the fish-cake bahn-mi that I saw in reviews and pictures, but they replied that they don't have it anymore. This was my only meatless option. Not bad. I wasn't expecting the rice-noodle-like crunchies on the inside, so it was a nice surprise. After a few bites it can be a little too salty and sugary though. I'll have to come back when I can eat meat again. But if you're looking for an affordable bahn-mi minus the vibes, this is the place.

I'm a huge lover of Vietnamese Coffee. I've tried all the local place here in Fremont when I visit my daughter. The Yelp ratings were high on the coffee. They were right. He shaved the ice fresh , then stirred up the coffee mixture and poured it in. So good!!! And it was only $5.50. He also sells it by the quart jugs. Yum.I went back a second day for coffee, and the owner said I should try his baguette. So I bought one, perfect texture soft on the inside, crunchy crust on the outside and the best part it's fresh every day for about $3
