Sweet mango is a local favorite which is known for its flavorful dishes, generous portion sizes and cozy ambience. The menu comprises of dishes across Burmese, Chinese and Thai cuisines which is pretty cool. Few of my all time favorite dishes here are the Kung Pao chicken, Pineapple fried rice, Pad Thai and Mango prawns. A special mention for their amazing mango salad and sticky rice with mangoes - both the dishes are made with fresh mangoes which really enhances the overall taste. Friendly and attentive service. If you love Southeast Asian cuisine, then this is highly recommended.

FOOD I love everything here except the tea leaf salad had too much funk taste for our liking. Yes to their mango chicken. Yes to the honey walnut prawns. I would totally order to go here if I lived closer. Thai iced tea could use more Thai tea and less milk for my preference. STAFF has never been a problem whenever I come here. The food comes out fast! PARKING lot is small but there is street parking. INSIDE is not fancy but it's homey feeling. This place has been here for many many years.

3.5/5, rounded up in this caseCute little Thai place a bit separated from Willow Glen strip realistically speaking (just a block or two down). Pad Thai ~3.5/5 - I do think this doesn't get any spice at all, based off no spicy symbol on the menu which kind of sucks as I'd assume most Thai dishes to like to incorporate spice. I'd assume they could add it if you asked but otherwise, as a default its a 3.5.Honey Walnut Chicken 4/5 - Pretty interesting choice, figured I'd try it over the regular prawns. Chicken was okay for juiciness and the honey walnut sauce does make it a great twist. Service is great, waiter is always going around and ensuring you're doing all right. Waiters also seem to be keeping a look out for customers cars in the front as when I came, they came around each table asking who had a white suv in the front as their phone was there.Parking lot is very small, probably about 5-7 cars at most, so do expect to park in either one of the Willow Glen lots or street parking.

Flavors aren't authentic when you have Thai, Chinese and Burmese cuisines all in one menu. Prices were high for an average tasting dishes. They tasted very similar too, we couldn't tell basil chicken apart from eggplant fish in garlic sauce. Tom Kha soup was comforting and salt and pepper tofu was decent. But tea leaf salad and veg fried rice were disappointing. They charge mandatory 20% gratuity for table of 5 btw. Location is good as it's situated next to the willow Glenn Main Street.

Last Mango in ParisLocally-owned restaurant serving up Chinese and Burmese cuisine for nearly fifteen years after taking over for the old Siam Square back in 2010. The Good:*Located just a stone's throw from DT Willow Glen *Small private lot, as well as street parking. *Friendly service *Bottled Asian beer*Large menu*Nice décor and ambiance of fancy but casual*Fried spring rolls were very good. Maybe even better than my all-time favorite at King Eggroll. *I saw a post on local sub Reddit a few months back about Burmese Tea Leaf Salad--which I've never had but suddenly needed to--and where to get the best one in The Bay. Sweet Mango was one of those locations and while it took me a minute to finally come check it out, after trying it I'm a believer. Great earthy pesto-like flavor from the imported tea leaves and loved all the crunchy elements. Highly recommend this dish. It's meant to share but I ate the whole thing myself. Oink oink. :8)The Meh:*Five Spice Popcorn chicken was very bland and needed some oomph to it. Just tasted like nice crispy chicken but no other flavors to speak of. *And speaking of oomph, a lot of the dishes lacked that punch of flavor that Asian cuisine is known for. The Ugly:*They really should think about sprucing up the exterior of this place. Definitely a don't judge a book by it's cover type of situation, but still. Maybe dust that cover occasionally. Conclusion: Overall, decent grub in a great location with friendly service.

Sweet Mango is a little hidden gem located in Willow Glen. I've been here a few times now and it's always a great experience. The service is fast and friendly, plus the food is consistently delicious. The red curry prawns are at the top of my list and the fried rice was scrumptious.

I have only ordered from DoorDash from here, but after eating the food, I would love to come here for a meal sometime.I'm OBSESSED with the mango salad. It's salty and sweet and gets some vegetables in!I've tried a couple of other things on the menu, but keep defaulting back to the mango salad. It is just SO good! The noodles are also pretty delicious as well. I'll have to update my review when I actually get a chance to dine in here. They definitely take care in packaging their food for to-go orders. I've never had any issues when opening up my orders from them.

I was on yelp looking for a good Chinese food place to have dinner at. I have my to go place but it's a bit of a drive so I was looking for something closer. I felt adventurous lol I saw Sweet Mango which had excellent reviews so I decided to give it a try! It is located in the willow glen area but not on the Main Street which was nice. They have their own parking lot which is a plus! Let's get down to the food and service.Walking in, we were greeted immediately and sat down with no wait which was super cool. Their menus (forgot to take a picture smh) is on the older side with some pictures but looks like it can use some TLC. This is what we decided to try:War won ton soup (not pictured) : 8/10Soup flavor was good but both my fiancé and my daughter said the actual wonton had a salty taste almost like a salami. I liked it though! Veggies tasted good and the broth was delicious. Perfect for a cold night!Pot stickers (not pictured): 8/10They were cooked very nicely but the sauce they came with was some what on the sweet side so not sure how I felt about that. My daughter and fiancé loved them though.Honey walnut shrimp: 7/10The cooking on the shrimps were all over the place here lol flavor was good but some shrimps had more breading, some were over cooked for my liking and some were perfect. Still very yummy.Combo Chinese fried rice: 9/10This was one of my favorite things! Btw I love fried rice haha. It had big shrimps and other proteins in here and it was cooked really delicious. I like chili oil with my rice and I'm surprised because these tables had nothing on them. No siracha, no soy, no chili oil so I was bummed. I asked towards the end so that's why I docked it a point. So good though!Chicken kung pao: 6/10This was probably my least fav thing. Not because of the flavor, but because of the execution of the dish itself. The chicken was cut way too small for my liking and the veggies were humongous. The flavor was there just wish it was a bit more spicy.Service: 8/10Service was super cool. I wish we were offered chili oil and other things for our food so I will dock that but they were for the most part attentive. Once we received the chili oil, it looked super old and it was on the darker side when I poured it over my rice. I will say that it had a good taste but I feel like that's been sitting for a whileOverall, this place was not bad. I will stick to my regular spot though but I might give them another try in the near future and try other dishes again.

For all halal foodies, the meat at sweet mango is halal as per verbal assurance from the restaurant. We were going to Willow Street pizza but the wait time there was an hour on a Friday night so we decided to look for alternatives. Sweet mango was right next to it, and seeing Burmese options on their menu, i called to check if they were halal, and was pleasantly surprised to hear yes!The ambience inside was cozy, and food was good too! We ordered cumin beef and mango chicken with fried rice. Cumin beef was the winner for sure. I found mango chicken to be a bit too sweet but my toddler liked it. The location is also great as you can walk around downtown Willow glen after your meal. Recommend this place, especially to folks who eat halal and have limited options (*Please call and double check halal status for yourself too*)

We visit this place very frequently and all I can say is that... this place is worth visiting! First of all, the food. Our favorite is pad Thai and red curry chicken. It's really the best. Secondly, the service. Such friendly staff create such a positive atmosphere. It's the best, and I really recommend!
