We tried the speakeasy only, so can't speak to the restaurant portion. Very cool space; a lot bigger than I pictured tbh, though still a dark, somewhat cozy vibe. They only have maybe one, two bartenders though (and this was on a Saturday night) so they do warn you on the drink menus that because these are craft cocktails, you'll have to wait awhile for your drinks. I'd recommend getting a reservation so you have a guaranteed spot upon arrival; makes it easy to checkin with the hostess at the restaurant and be escorted back. If you don't make a reservation, there may not be any availability. Overall, I would come back to try the place again.

I made a reservation here for Valentine's Day this year about 2 weeks ahead of time. Most restaurants were already pretty booked, so I got lucky to get a decent time of 8:30pm. I've actually never tried this place before, but the pictures looked nice on Yelp. They made sure to call about a week early to inform me their menu for Valentine's Day is a set menu with a set price. The day came and unfortunately, there was a stabbing that occurred right outside the restaurant an hour prior which caused the police to close roads and block out the area in the front. There was a lot of traffic finding parking, so I called the restaurant and they were nice to be accommodating for our late arrival. I don't blame the restaurant for what had happened, but finding out about the tragic event changed the mood of our meal quite a bit. Besides the main entree, everything on the menu was set incorporating sampling of many of their usual food items on their day to day menu. Since there were so many items, I won't go into much detail besides their paella. We got a shared seafood paella which came with squid, shrimp, mussels, and aoli sauce. This was really good, but pretty heavy. We actually took the juice from our ceviche (from the appetizer) to add some acidic flavors to the paella which made it really nice. I think the biggest downfall of our meal was how long the dessert took to come out. It wasn't just for our table, but for other tables as well. When it did come out, the brownie that was served with the dessert sampler was not warm, but also tasted kind of stale. I would say all the other food that was served was pretty nice, but not sure if I would pay $100 per person for this meal. The shrimp's body was pretty mushy, but the shrimp head had so much flavor to it.

It's a beautiful restaurant, with delicious plates of food, and good service. It's my first time to try the place and it was a pleasant dining experience. The ambiance is bright and relaxing, with wooden fixtures and good outdoor sunlight. It was lunch hour but the place is not packed. We got seated right away. We decided to try the Vegetarian Paella, an eggplant dish, and chicken skewers (see photos). The eggplant dish tastes clean and light. If you like healthy, this is for you. The chicken skewer is flavorful and on the spicy side. It takes around half an hour for the Paella dishes to come out. But it's worth the wait. I like that they can make the rice dish tasty without being crazy on the seasoning. It's just the right amount of flavors. Got me curious what the seafood version would taste like. Will reserve it for another time. The Inca Empire drink I got is a refreshing drink, a touch of sweet cola with pomegranate, dragon fruit, and popping boba. It's a nice sip in between bites of the food. Will definitely go back for another Paella and maybe some ceviche, and more!

I was honestly a bit scared to try this place because I saw a lot of mixed reviews. I thought this would be one of those influencer backed spots that doesn't actually turn out to be yummy. We did takeout and everything was packaged so prettily and nicely. I came home and plated it but there was honestly no need. I didn't really like the namesake salad. They marketed it as "seasonal and local fruits" but in the end it was just a bunch of tomatoes, Mandarins, and grapes with onions and olives. I quite liked the grapes but I think the ratio of having thaaaat many tomatoes was weird. The dressing was quite a light mustard vinaigrette. Overall it was a light salad and it was alright tasting but wouldn't really recommend.I liked the ceviche clasico. It had that classic citrus ceviche base with pretty fresh fish. I liked the big corn kernels that you see often in Peruvian dishes to add texture. The veggie croquettes (bombas de la barceloneta) were also pretty yummy. It didn't really blow my mind but it was not too oily and i appreciated that. I also I accidentally got the aioli kind of solidified from trying to heat up everything in the microwave so that didn't really help with the texture. The tomato based sauce was quite tasty tho--I liked it more than the white garlicky one. The paella was also quite yummy. We got the Carne but subbed pork for chicken. The chicken itself was too dry and tough with barely any meat so it was meh but the rice was super tasty. I liked the slight al dente texture of the rice soaked in the tomato based sauce.

Came back a second time for lunch and couldn't be happier with our meal. Ordered:- ceviche mixto (still so so delicious)- empanada de carne (hit the spot everytime)- pollo a la brada (couldn't get over how tender and juicy the chicken breast was and that jalapeni huancaina sauce was a perfect addition)- pisco sour (I wanted something morr tarty and not too sweet. This was it)

Our server Lucky was a perfect example of what customers expect. He was professional, diligent, concentrated, perceptive; and overall they were amicable. He would check on our table if we need anything. Refilling our waters without us asking (which our table appreciated). They were composed and as well the other staff. The food was great! I definitely love the design of the restaurant. It had a nice buzz feeling to it. The Lomo Saltado was fantastic!!! Price is ok. The meat was juicy and the chew was amazing. Shout out to the cooks for handling all of these orders and keeping the food fresh and tasty. Our tastes buds imploded with flavor.

It was an honor to be served by the warm and graceful man that is Lucky. Lucky is an angelic, graceful, and caring server. If I could give 10 out of 5 stars I would. From the minute we walked in, giving us wine recommendations, checking in on our meal, Lucky's service was nothing short of perfection. The excellency of his service has changed my outlook on life as a whole. The restaurant's vibe and service was one outstanding experience.
