Sushi GoGo

Not my usual spot but I was craving a little sushi, stop there, got my order quick, fresh and tasty. If you are craving sushi and you are in a hurry, this is your place.

Heavy on the rice, and lacking a personal touch like they were stamped out on an assembly line.The place is devoid of ambiance. It has the feel of a soulless franchise. You aren't welcomed when you walk in, and ignored by the guy behind the counter,and left to order on the touchscreen. I would say the sushi ranks just below safeway ready made sushi.

If you like SAFEWAY sushi this place is for you.In my opinion it wasn't worth it, ordered online and got their 32 pcs box. They were all bland tasting including the lion roll, which is usually a tasty since its baked, but nope.***If your gona try this place try their single sushis first.

Ordered from Sushi GoGo tonight. Had never been here before and thought the menu looked colorful and expected a lot of flavor. I was kind of disappointed by the lack of flavor, despite the rolls being very colorful. In addition, there weren't many roll options on the menu, that was a bummer. The organic edamame however was delicious. It was chilled and just the right amount of salt. I would give Sushi GoGo a second GoGo.

I ordered the Honey Box (18), which included California Roll, Salmon Nigiri, Shrimp Nigiri, and Sashimi. The California Roll was good, just like any other California Roll. However, the Shrimp Nigiri was dry and lacked flavor. The Salmon Nigiri and Sashimi weren't great either; the fish tasted very fishy and was thinly sliced. Overall, I would probably avoid the sashimi next time and focus on trying their rolls instead. This place has potential to be a good takeout spot, but they need to improve their fish quality first.

This Sushi GoGo location is inside the Union Square Marketplace plaza. This is a semi-busy plaza, but there is usually parking in this large shared lot. I decided to give them a try, as I was hungry and studying in the area, and I also enjoyed the San Leandro location - I am not sure if they are the affiliated with that particular location. I ordered the Honey Box again, which comes with 4 pieces of nigiri (2 pieces of salmon and 2 pieces of shrimp), 4 pieces of salmon sashimi, and 8 pieces of California roll. Due to an allergy, I asked the employee on the phone for a substitution for the shrimp nigiri and he substituted it for salmon nigiri instead, which I appreciated. My order was ready within 5 - 8 minutes, which was pretty quick as well. The California roll at this location tasted fresh, while their salmon nigiri and sashimi did not, as it was on the fishier side. I still ate it and added extra soy sauce to it to mask the fishy taste - unfortunately, later that night, I ended up with food poisoning from the bad salmon.

I have only ordered from here twice. I had the AC roll both times and I think this is the only place with a great price to taste ratio. Comparatively inexpensive sushi with good quality and always satisfies my sushi craving!

Ordered two basic rolls just to try them out. California roll and spicy tuna roll. If it's good I'll come back right? Didn't even get the opportunity to try the food yet and something happened that made me never want to return. I'm the only customer in the store and they are making my order and I hear someone let out a loud burp while making/packing my food. I get it, we are human and when you gotta burp you gotta burp. But at the very least go away from the food, take a quick step to the side!Anyways the food itself can be best classified as "All you can eat" style sushi. The rice isn't seasoned, and it makes the sushi taste bland. The only plus is presentation.

Sushi rolls are half priced for half the size and 3/4 the quality of near by sushi places. Its a snack place, go somewhere else for proper sized sushi. Nealy always empty if u need a place to just sit in quiet. Also they close half an hour early so don't put any faith into their 9pm closing time. 4/5 is perfect for this restaurant.

A good place if you want quick sushi to eat at home. I first found them through UberEats and wanted to check it out. Their box combos are the best deals to get at this place! It comes with very neat packaging and a reusable tote bag. My favorite roll was the Shrimp Tempura roll because it the tempura was flavorful and was still crunchy when I received it. I rate Sushi GoGo 3 stars since the sushi wasn't that great in terms of quality and freshness. Since it it grab-and-go, it does taste like the rolls have been sitting out, especially since the rice felt a bit stale in terms of sitting in the refrigerator for too long. The fish also didn't taste the freshest, which affected the rolls overall. This place is more for getting sushi last minute at a cheaper price.
