Super Mercado MI Tierra

The meat sometimes smells bad, the parking is medium sized and you have to walk far sometimes and the store is small but it's well stocked. The service staff is friendly and helpful.

If I am in need of some fresh fruits or vegetables and bread, pastries, or tortillas I come here and I do so often. Their prices are good and everything is fresh. When it comes to items that are canned or otherwise processed I would go somewhere else as those prices tend to be higher in addition to the items possibly being expired. They also have a good variety of beer and desserts / candy.At this location I can see why people are frustrated with their customer service. Many workers do not speak much English. This isn't so much of a big deal as the workers are still very helpful and kind when asked for help or ringing your items up at the checkout.Overall this is a wonderful local grocery store that has my full support. Best grocery store around I know of that sells Mexican / Central American food, drinks, desserts, and treats.

Yup. My review stays the same.I go here because it's close & convenient (and within walking distance) and also because I am probably a little crazy hoping that they will sell good meat.Went in for a few pounds of asada.They didn't want to slice it thin for me even though it wasn't much and it wasn't super crazy inside the store. I wanted to avoid all the fat.When you go to buy meat, you shouldn't have to ask them to give you meat that's good, fresh or edible. Sadly, every time you have to ask them to not give you so much fat! Or they display it so nice but grab meat from 'behind the counter' and its exactly like my picture. That's dishonest but shame on me, because I will be back.

The five stars are a rating for what I come for. I list some negatives below.This store is about a quarter mile from my house and occasionally I'll stop in to buy some fruits, vegetables, a pastry, or some other small item which is needed in small amounts. It's close and convenient so for one or two smaller items or a snack during one of my walks this place works.The workers are friendly and I appreciate that.-----The negatives:-Prices and selection available aren't great so for me it's not a store for regular grocery shopping.-I usually walk here. Have only driven once and the parking lots isn't so good. It's small and only one narrow driveway to get in/out.-I only eat meat a couple times a month now but when I did eat it regularly I tried ordering some from here and it wasn't easy. Had to point and use my not so great Spanish to order. Might be different now, that was years ago. Their meat prices aren't so great.-----So for picking up a couple small items this store is okay for me. I walk there and can get in/out of the store quickly. The service has been friendly. I do my regular grocery shopping elsewhere.

I don't recommend this grocery store they have bad customer service most of the cashiers have the worst attitude they can have if I could I'll give them zero starsPlus their prices are little bit high compared to other grocery stores around really bad customer serviceNo recomiendo este súper mercado Mi Tierra tienen un servicio de lo peor que pude aver las cajeras atienden de mal carácter casi la mayoría de todas si pudiera no les dio 0 estrellas aparte los precios están un poco altos comparados a otras tiendas de comida muy mal servicio al cliente

Supermercado Mi Tierra looks the typpical mex supermarket minus the taqueria. buns pricey, definitely not made inhouse.noticed beer section in corner. not in mood for mex. beer. passed.deli section had a few prepped foodsd Tamales(1.99) camarones ceviche (8.99lb) pescado ceviche (4.99/lb)eats: pescado ceviche, l lb.-adequate amount of lime, not sure how it compares to restaurant eats,.no doubt cheap whitefish used. buying tecate next time for this or negro modelo.parking lot in park. can get crowded..

Respectful people I like this place clean and very close to my home Every time I go they great people and ask how can they help to find products and get you help

I was there at 8:30 and they were close already but it says they are closed at nine. Shouldn't they allow customers to shop until nine?

Not sure what was on the apples I bought from here, whatever it was , was not good.It tasted bitter and it burned my tongue.

Si pudiera dejar 0 estrellas no dejaría ninguna. De lo peor servicio de cliente que he tratado. Compré una sandía pequeña y cuando iba de salida en el parking lot de la misma tienda se me callo la sandía que había comprado hace menos de 2 minutos después de salir de el supermercado. Pregunté si podían hacer la cortesía de cambiarla y la manager que era mujer me dijo que no. Después de comprar en este súper mercado por más años incluyendo mis padres dejo de comprar en este local ya que no tienen el servicio de cliente que una persona se merece. La sandía costaba $3 y con cambiarla no iban a perder el gran chingo de dinero. Muchas gracias porque a todos que conozco les voy a dejar saber que no vuelvan a comprar aquí. Todos compren mejor en Cárdenas
