So here's the thing, the location or restaurant is nothing to rave about BUT it's a hidden gem and quite frankly I don't understand the negative reviews. The service was good and I have no complaints about it because the lady was hospitable. The food is excellent in my opinion. I ordered the gorgan chicken and koobideh kebab and rice and it was wonderful. The seasoning and flavor on both kebabs was perfect and paired with the mast-khair it just was harmony. My only criticism is the kashk bademjan but I am willing to overlook that because the entree was awesome. Will definitely return!

My first two times here I gushed about the food. The third time I experienced Stone Stew was take out. They are two blocks from me. I was sorely disappointed that the food quality couldn't make the trek. I couldn't explain the difference. I won't write this place off yet but I will only visit in person now. Can't find my pics.

Ordered the Fereydunkenar Fish Kabob with Rice and Tomato and the Gorgan Chicken and Koobideh Kabob With Rice and Tomato. All the kabobs were well-seasoned and the delicious. I appreciated the salmon and chicken kabobs the most. The rice was also very flavorful. The tomato was a nice addition. The service was fast and responsive, and the ambiance was casual.

I'm surprised there aren't more reviews for this place! We came here on a monday lunch and it was completely empty until the end. We were immediately seated and handed water, warm lavash and butter. We ordered the Torghabeh Special dish for 2 people and the portion was huge! I think this portion is big enough for 4 people! The chicken thigh was the best chicken thigh kebab i've ever had. It was super juicy and flavorful. The koobideh was also super juicy and had really strong flavor that complimented the fluffy hot rice well. Out of the three meats, my least favorite was the beef filet, which is usually my favorite! Not that it was bad, it was really good! it's just that the other meats tasted sooo good it really outshined the beef filet. I look forward to coming back and with more people to try more foods! Highly recommend!

Amazing food! I loved coming here as a tourist --not once, but TWICE in the span of five days-- in San Jose. Their original dizzi sangi (دیزی سنگی) is fantastic -- came in piping hot from the kitchen, and the meat and potatoes and the chickpeas tasted fresh and delectable. Service was fast and friendly! I also appreciated the casual but cozy interior decor of the restaurant, especially their traditionally styled doors. My only suggestion would be that they could play traditional Persian music instead of English songs! All in all, loved this place! A hidden gem!

Tried this place for the first time tonight and I'm not sure how I feel about it. Ordered a Kerman Soltani kabob plate and a koobideh skewer and it was extremely bland. I mean, I'm not a fan of salt and would prefer my food on the lighter side of flavoring but there was absolutely none. Idk if they forgot to season it or this is normal for them, but I literally had to add a bit of my own sea salt (w/ no iodine). For those in healthcare, I know iodine is essential. We have both, so don't worry. The one tomato they gave me, was burnt, again w/ no flavoring. I seriously have no idea...I would like to come back but if this is how it is, then most likely not.

Service was very good but the food was too oily. Extremely heavy, and the portion was too big, I could have shared one plate between two people easily.Ambiance was not very nice.

Pretty good Persian restaurant on the outskirts of downtown. They have a few parking spaces in a lot dedicated to the restaurant which is nice.It was empty on a Monday evening, with just a handful of people picking up to go orders. The restaurant had no music on which made it really quiet with no additional diners. There was complimentary bread, and I asked for the side of mint and onions as that's my favorite part of Persian restaurants. It was a little difficult to eat with the thicker bread, as I'm used to lavash instead, but still really great combo with the butter!Ordered the Torgahbeh for 2, which came with 2 huge plates of rice, koobideh, chicken (you can choose between breast or thigh) and a beef filet. It also came with roasted tomatoes, yogurt sauce, and a cucumber salad. Also ordered the kashke bademjan which was really tasty. Sucker for eggplant anything. The meats were grilled perfectly, and the koobideh will always my favorite. Great flavor and would recommend!

DO NIT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!They charge more than what is mentioned in their menu. Do not go there because they will come ip with some funny logic like if you have a child with you or if you are more than 5 people ti increase your bill value by 20%!!! No transparency in their menu and how they charge!!!!
