This is a nice place with a variety of chaat options in the menu. I tried the vada paav, dahi puri, chilli paratha and pav bhaaji. All of them tasted very good. I tried the badam milk and it was very very good. Nice way to end the meal! The servers were very nice and friendly too.

This was my favorite Indian restaurant of them all for 3.5 meals. On visit #4, it sank out of sight! What I liked best: the monthly special menu and food items!!! I'd seen this when I was shopping online for a new Indian restaurant, but apparently they didn't have the November special menu ready for our first meal--a dinner--and I totally forgot about it because I usually order saag paneer as my first meal at any new Indian restaurant anyway. And their saag paneer was totally to die for! So, Meal #1 was totally fab even without the special menu!Meals #2 and 3 were both lunches, which we ordered off the November special menu, which was ready by then. I was totally smitten with this place after those two meals! The special items were so unusual, they were so fabulous tasting, the menu included a special chai (another to-die-for item), etc. I thought their desserts were not as fabulous as everything else, but I was still totally into this place! And then meal #4. It was December by this point, but they still had their November special menu out. Major disappointment because I'd already tried everything on the November special menu that I wanted to try during Meals #2 and #3. And then the service was beyond laughable! I tried doing seated half-jacks to get some waiter's attention at one point. There was a young guy standing near the cash register, facing the dining area, who saw me, and continued scrolling through his phone! A woman at a nearby table commiserated when she saw me as she'd been totally unable to get their attention either. So! This place has a brilliant chef and a lousy manager, as far as I can tell! So sad! I was looking forward to dining here weekly for life!

We came by during one weekend to get a taste or something we don't generally eat on a daily basis. I ended up ordering a potato naan that came with some chickpea curry. It was nice and filling. Perfect for a single meal for one. On a side note, be careful in the booths since the booths actually move. Also there are some diagonal beams that you might accidentally hit your head on if you aren't careful. My family ordered a platter (forgot what it was called) but it comes with some naan/roti and different dipping sauces. One included a paneer tikka masala. They enjoyed it so much that they asked the staff for another tiny sample so that I could try it also. The staff was really kind and obliged to the request. And it was really good! We also ordered this dish (for the kids) with cool puffy looking bread that you can dip in curry. I didn't get to try it but it certainly looked interesting. The kids were fascinated as well. Anyhow, I think the next time I come, I will likely order the paneer tikka masala dish and eat it with some naan. This place will set you back probably about $20 a person.

Ambience: 5/5Service: 5/5Food: 5/5Vegetarian Indian fare at its best! We ordered the thali w/ naan (delicious side curries and sweets). We were completely floored by the paneer curry. I asked the waiter if they had it in a full size and they do! It's actually called the Paneer Tikka Gravy. I literally would come back JUST TO FEAST on that dish. It was sublime, the paneer was just the right texture and the curry delivered a great balance of savory/spicy/sweet. We also enjoyed the naan, potato naan and chickpea curries. Some of the curry pairings were a bit too spicy for us, but that really is just bc we aren't used to it and not bc it tasted bad.Service was efficient, polite and patient! Our waiter's name was VEEP and he did a great job explaining to us the difference between the options.Would definitely come here again!

India won the T20 cricket World Cup and we decided we needed some Indian food to celebrate. I had seen the "coming soon" board for this place a few months before so had it on my list of places to try. Restaurant is huge, ambiance is funky with an almost neon orange painted interiors. Menu is huge as well, with lot of Indian vegetarian chaat, curries and roties. We ordered an array of dishes: pav bhaji, chole batura, Bhel thali, sarson ka saag with makki di roti and chaat basket on the recommendation of our server. We had walked in with almost zero expectations and were impressed. Food is almost as good as some of our other favorite Indian restaurants in that area. The chaat items like the chaat basket and bhel puri had the perfect balance of flavors and fresh ingredients. The makki di roti and sarson ka saag was delicious but obviously used a more than generous amount of butter so tread with caution. The thali was the only dish that fell flat for me, none of the items on it were bad but neither were they impressive.

Good food and neat place inside. I have been waiting for this place to open since the board came up. Liked their food from Dublin location. Went on their grand opening day. Had to wait for 20 minutes to be seated, but it was worth it. Thali was wholesome, the chur chur paratha was delicious. Bhatura was well fried and chana was yumm. As it was the opening day, it was super crowded. We gave our order immediately on seating, but it seemed that order was messed up and we got it 15 min later, thats why 4-star. But thereafter service was pretty fast and good.

Very nice ambiance and delicious food. They have a lot of variety in Jain Food (no onion, no garlic, no potato). I have attached a screenshot of their Jain Menu. It was very helpful to pick items from the menu. The staff were very polite and accommodating. They helped us pick the items and also prepared one of their monthly special item as a Jain dish.I would definitely come here again whenever I drive by Sunnyvale.

Im happy they opened a location in the South Bay. its in the middle of Gandhi nagar (central to all Indians, every city in India has a Gandhi nagar) and poses a good competitor to Chaat Bhavan. The food, service and ambience are good. The wait staff are very energetic and helpful. They opened this new location recently and so the crowds are not large but its has a great ambience. if you need chaat or North Indian food this can be your goto place. Also the prices seem reasonable. 4 of us ate one dish each for a total of $52. So please go and enjoy and review. Almost all the dishes there are very good. Will definitely go there again and again.

This place was amazing. Definitely worth checking out. We have ordered Gobhi Manchurian, Masala papdi chaat Paneer Makhani , Kadhi pakoda and garlic Naan . Everything was perfect . The fresh naan was a highlight; it had just the right texture--soft inside with a nice crisp on the outside. The curries were good sized and well-prepared, offering rich and authentic North Ind punjabi tastes . The service was quick excellent, and overall, it was a delicious experience. I also appreciated the complimentary chai I would like to thanks for the warm hospitality offered by Mr Amit Kumar, Chef and other staff members. I would recommend this place. Please do come , you won't regret :-).
