This place is amazing. 5 star food at 2 star prices. Their main business is catering so they are able to sell food really cheap and their specials are amazing too!!

Excellent Catering Organization last Weekend. Funeral , but it was a Irish send off. The food, deserts were magnificent. Plus before dealing with Star Catering, I had a very San Franciscan, sandwich and salad at the Cafe. Very good Quality. Plus I grabbed some treats on the way out. Wow! What an amazing hole in the wall! I was recommended here by my coworker. I tried their special gyro (I believe their specials change daily not too sure) but it was huge! I was in food coma afterwards. The space is super clean - which is a huge deal for me. Not only do they serve food here but they offer catering services! I will definitely be using them for future catering services for my events. They have a huge variety. On top of all of these great points the customer service was super friendly. Checked all my boxes :)

I use to go to Star Catering all the time because the sandwiches were fantastic. See below the sandwich for $7.85 before the "New Management" took over and then see it after with no mest and and a new price if $10 and some change....I will never go back!!!#

My normal lunch spot when I've forgotten to pack lunch. Just down the street means they are a quick walk and a bit of fresh air. They've got a great variety of sandwiches and salads to choose from, and much better quality than any surrounding fast foods. The expanded menus on special days keeps lunches interesting. Ever since this place was sold, the new workers are totally clueless about making the right order. on couple occasions i had to drive back and request to have the right sandwich made. make sure to check your order before leaving this place. in addition the prices are higher, which i did not mind, the portion is smaller and I accepted it, but lousy customer service was not acceptable. the new owner needs to hire qualified worker even if they cost more as he already increased price and reduced portion.

Great sandwiches! The place is under new ownership and you can tell the new owners are really working to improve the food and overall quality of this place.

Their pasta salad is one of the few that I will eat. The sandwich lunchbox option is super filling. There are two mini things of pasta salad, sandwich with the fixings, a cookie and some candy (this time it was a mint). Star is a go to for catering here locally!

I can't attest to their food but one thing I can attest to is their shady business practices. We had placed a catering order for a large meeting we were hosting. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel the meeting and subsequently the order. I was told upfront that there would be a cancellation fee. Totally understandable! They're a catering company and not a restaurant so I know they had to put out money to purchase the items needed to complete the order. Here I am expecting to be charged the cost of the food minus the markup that every company adds on to make a profit. But no, they proceeded to give me a $102 partial refund on a $680 order and then immediately turn around and charge me the partial refund amount as a delivery tip bringing my cancellation fee back up to the original amount of the order. WTF! Totally unacceptable. If you choose to order form these crooks I would be very wary.
