Spruce Cafe

i dont usually give reviews but this one deserved! came here for the first time tuesday morning before class. i love this place and the latte art. i was glad to be welcomed by the barista named noah, he created such a comfy atmosphere. 100/10 :)

Spruce Cafe is a trendy and inviting spot with a fantastic vibe that's perfect for both productivity and relaxation. The moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels unique and calming. It's easy to get "lost" in your work or enjoy a meaningful conversation with friends. The interior is impressively clean, and the music playing in the background adds to the overall ambiance without being too loud or distracting.The decor is stylish, with beautiful wooden and marble tabletops that give the space a modern yet cozy touch. The menu offers a great selection of drinks and a few pastry options, which perfectly complement the café's vibe. I ordered the cold brew crema, and it was absolutely delightful--smooth, refreshing, and satisfying.The staff here are professional, quick, and clearly skilled at their craft. The service was seamless from the moment I walked in. I was recommended this café by Graphix Lab across the street while waiting for my tints, and it was a fantastic suggestion.There's ample parking outside, which makes it convenient, and the outdoor seating is a nice option for those who prefer fresh air. Attached to the café is an intriguing restaurant called The Night Market, serving hot Asian dishes that looked and smelled incredible. Watching other patrons indulge made me want to try some, but since I had a big lunch, I'll have to save it for next time.Spruce Cafe is an all-around wonderful spot, combining cleanliness, great music, excellent drinks, and a welcoming environment. I'll definitely be returning whenever I'm in town for work!

I went to Spruce recently when I was looking for a new coffee shop. I was pleasantly surprised by how aesthetically pleasing this cafe is. You can tell whoever designed the space went in with this in mind. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating. It is a very "Instagram-able " cafe. I think this would be a great place to study or work from. I ordered a dandelion mocha and a kale spinach feta croissant (warmed up). I had read in Yelp reviews that the latte art here was amazing so I had high hopes given that I ordered a hot drink for dine in. When I got my drink the latte art was nothing special so I wonder if you have to specifically request cool latte art or if there are limited baristas that make the unique designs. The drink also wasn't anything special and I'll probably go for a latte next time. I really enjoyed the croissant which was not too oily or greasy. Parking is easy as there is a free parking lot for patrons.

A very solid place for coffee and pastries! I have come here a couple times and each time the pasties have really hit the spot. I believe they are homemade and they are delicious! As for drinks I have tried the Honey Lavender Matcha and the Honey Lavender Latte. The latter lacked the lavender flavor but was overall great coffee. The Matcha was really good and I could taste the lavender flavor. Both times that I have been here, I have noticed they are a little short staffed with only 2 workers. They are decently busy in the morning only person makes drinks while the other worker is working with the food. Curious to know if they'll consider adding another barista set up for faster service. Overall a great place to do work, as it is nicely decorated and provides a great environment for working or catching up with friends of other coffee. Will definitely be back!

There's really no better option than Spruce in South SF. Coffee is great, they serve a good range of fresh pastries that are made from the kitchen there, the ambience is chill and relaxing. I only hope the seating can be more comfortable, but maybe they do that on purpose so people don't sit there the whole day with their laptop after ordering just a cup of coffee.

Wifi is alright, the drink is average, and the bakery items are above average. For a study pass, it's not that good, but it's a nice place to catch up with some friends.

I am always on the lookout for amazing, high quality coffee shops and Spruce Cafe is def one of them! This is a cute spot to hangout, with great coffee and yummy sweets. Will def come again!

Nice coffee shop at South city. I came here after I saw the art latte someone posted. When we ordered I mentioned to have nice art latte on the black latte and they delivered. It was beautiful. It is just a bit sweet for me. The latte is on the light side. The server was nice. The one take a while is for the croissant to be warmed. The coffee were ready pretty quickly. This is the first time I have nice nice art latte. Will come again later.

Good coffee and selection of interesting milk based espresso and tea drinks. They have both pastries and also cake-like desserts. It looks like they bake in-house. Decor has a sort of industrial vibe (as opposed to your hygge - cozy space with lots of wood, plants, and natural light. Nicely textured milk with latte art.

We love this place! Good coffee and matcha latte. The indoor sitting area is spacious. The service is a bit slow though. If you get to-go order, you might have to wait for a while.
