Speedy's Tacos

Our family LOVES Mexican food. We probably go to Speedy's Tacos the most and if we aren't there, we're across the parking lot at Tia Juana, owned by the same family. This place is truly a neighbor joint, where we often see the same people dining and we have gotten to know the owners very well. This place is casual where you order at the counter, get your own drinks and the food comes to your table. It is cozy inside but also has nice outdoor seating when the weather is nice. It really has it all, great chips, salsa and guacamole, flavorful dishes and fast, friendly service. My favorite is the taquito combo that comes with the tastiest salad. My husband likes the chicken burrito with green sauce. Be sure to ask for the special orange hot sauce that takes it to the next level. We are never disappointed when we come here because the quality of food is always fresh, consistent and full of flavor. The same can be said for its sister restaurant, Tia Juana (look for my review), which has a more traditional menu. Please, if you think you have your go-to Mexican restaurant, give Speedy's Tacos or Tia Juana a try. You will not be disappointed and will have your new go-tos! Sorry, no pictures. I've gotten food from here a number of times and the food is always delicious. However, the three times that I've ordered to go orders via GrubHub or Uber eats, they clearly do not read the instructions that accompany the order. Every single time I asked them to pack the corn tortillas separately from the taco filling so that they don't get soggy, and every time they put the filling in the tortillas anyway. This time they put all four tacos into a single takeout container, and the tortillas were all overlapping, and it was practically impossible to get the tacos out of the container without ripping the tortillas and mixing all the different fillings. And on this last order, I was supposed to get a free chicken taco because I spent more than $20. I ordered it, and did not receive it. So I would give them five stars for the food but only three stars for the service.

I am surprised I did not discover this place sooner! I loved it so so much. Already been here twice. The place is cozy and gives you such great Mexican vibes, interiors are pretty.You order on the counter and grab a seat, they also have outdoor seating. They have many vegetarian options, I ordered crispy taquitos with potatoes and cheese, they were just like the name suggested, crispy and filled with potatoes and cheese, came with some salad and cheese or top.The vegetable quesadilla was my favorite it had cheese and a lot of veggies, came with a little bit of guacamole and sour cream and their green sauce.From the specials i got the Veggie chimichanga, it's a deep fried burrito, it's massive comes on a bed of some red sauce, this was delicious too and heavy on the stomach. The only thing I did not like were the chips, i felt they were not fresh and could have been a lot better. The salsa was good, the hot sauce they have on the side is really hot, so be careful!Overall loved it cant wait to go back. Oh the staff is 10/10.

Just came here to Lunch. It was very busy with many people in line, but the service was quick. I ordered fish and steak tacos They both came out after 5 minutes. The Tacos tasted pretty fresh. I also ordered a steak burrito to go. It came out 15 minutes later. Pricing is reasonable here. My total bill was $27 tax included. The restaurant has outdoor seatings and plenty parking spaces.

Was craving some pozole and perfect that it was a Saturday! The bowl definitely hit the spot and I was able to take my leftover bit home and enjoy it later. Service was quick, we ordered at the counter to dine and they brought it to our table hot and fresh! Plenty of seating, we decided to sit inside but the outdoor seating seemed nice as well. The chips and salsa was as also very good

Friendly service but I've had better tacos at food truck. We ordered al pastor and carne asada, and although the al pastor was good, their meat wasn't as smoky and flavorful as other taco spots I've had. However, their orange sauce made up for it! But beware if you can't tolerate spice-- it's much spicier than the typical green sauce you get. Interior is cozy as well!

I was on a business trip and a friend recommended this place. I love a great taco shop. This was authentic, tasty, you get what you pay for, the restaurant was clean and the service and staff was prompt and amazing! I was here for lunch on a Wednesday and it was busy, good for you and I wish I could take this place back home to Indiana.

Speedy's has a great interior, I've never dined outside. They tend to be popular and busy. The staff is great at handling the line and food comes out quick. Service is also great, staff is always friendly and patient.We got the pork tamales (an order comes with 3), carne asada taco, chicken taco, and flan.You queue up and order at the register and they give you a number to place wherever you decide to sit.Water is self-serve.Pork tamales were yummy, not dry. Didn't need anything extra, taste was great.Carne asada and chicken tacos were great. Love the salsa and everything included on the plate.Flan was great, nice and caramel-y.Everything was just perfect to be split between two people. Would definitely return!

Pretty darn good tacos. Tried a variety (al pastor, carne asada, lengua). Favorite was probably the al pastor. We also tried a Burrito and it was good, but the tacos were better! The horchata also really hit the spot. Overall a great place to satisfy my socal taco itch!

I needed to order catering with two hours notice and speedy tacos was able to accept the order and did such an amazing job. They thought of everything we would need, and made not only awesome food, but also did a beautiful job with presentation. I will definitely be ordering from here moving forward! Highly recommend.
