Sojo Ramen

This ramen spot has a lot of unique flavors! They had mala and thai flavors which was unique--I've never seen ramen like that before. The soups were good and noodles were pretty solid. The service was good and the restaurant had lots of seating available.THE FOOD:--Mala tonkatsu: 7/10 this was a delicious twist on ramen! though this ramen was on the heavier side.--Mentaiko ramen: 8/10 this was super creamy and the mentaiko flavor was just the right amount!--Tom yum ramen: 9/10 the broth for this was my favorite. If you like tom yum you'll definitely like this one.--Mentaiko bowl: 7/10 this was pretty decent but average. Exactly what you'd expect.

We ordered the Chashu Fries, Mentaiko Tonkotsu, Pork Chashu Bowl, Takoyaki, Beef Sukiyaki Ramen, and Mala Tonkotsu Ramen.My favorite is the beef sukiyaki and the takoyaki. I got some extra toppings for my ramen like their marinated eggs, silken tofu, and the kurobuta sausage. I'm so happy I did get these extra toppings because everything was so good when eaten together!!! The takoyaki had a pretty big size of octopus in it, a lot of places give really tiny pieces so I was really happy to see that :)

Jose was awesome, amazing service. We got extra noodle but didnt have enough broth to enjoy the extra amount ordered. He graciously brought out extra broth for us -- really appreciated that. Service was the main factor for fiveMala Tonkatsu ramen had that signature Sichuan numbing spice! It was not that spicy, but the numbing was what I was there for. It made my water taste so crisp. I also ordered the add on sukiyaki bowl and the meat was tender and sweet! Not that much meat, but the ginger on top was the best part. 5/5Mentaiko ramen was very creamy, delicate flavour of the mentaiko mixed in with the tonkatsu broth made it really balanced! Thank god I got it less salty. It was especially savoury affer I added in some of the complimentary garlic. 5/5

Went there for quick lunch. Fast and quick service. Ramen was perfect on a rainy day. Enjoyed my lunch and got out on time. Will be back for sure.

My husband and I enjoy coming to this restaurant, offers a variety of different ramen flavors and many appetizers to choose from. You can also choose different toppings to add to your ramen! Service is quick, staff is friendly and the ambiance is nice, there's a good amount of seats inside. There is plenty of parking because there is many different restaurants in the plaza. Would recommend!

This is a solid ramen spot with lots of flavor options. It's important to note that they have gluten free options! You can sub in rice noodles so my gf friend was really excited to try this. Overall, it was pretty yummy. I tried the tonkotsu ramen and it was flavorful. It is easy to customize too, they provide ordering sheets where you can add in toppings.

Great vibes, great bowls. I wish the ramen had more broth but loved all of the different and unique types of ramen fusion dishes they offer... for sure wanna come back in the future!

The service is great here!! We stopped by on a Friday evening and the inside is a little small but a decent size in my opinion, nice and cozy. I love how you can customize your ramen exactly how you like it, salt levels/spice levels and all. I got the Budae-Jjigae which was a little bit too much cause of the cheese, the sauce was too thick for my liking. The Spicy Miso on the other hand was perfect and we loved it! Their chicken karaage was a yummy appetizer! Their Katsu curry was packed with so much flavor!! If you're into curries and pork, you will like this option.

When I first saw Sojo on instagram and took a look at the reviews here, I knew I had to come try it out for the nontraditional flavors. Ngl, when I arrived on Thursday at 7pm and saw that it was pretty empty, I had low expectations. But, turned out to be a decent ramen spot that I plan to go back to. Short summary if you don't want to continue reading: My favorite broths were the tom yum and black garlic with the combo add on of curry scrambled egg rice bowl. You're able to customize the type of noodles, salt levels, sauces/oils, add extra toppings, and add on a rice bowl as a combo. The service was great and were super attentive with filling our water cups and checking in on us. Food: 4/5I absolutely loved the tom yum ramen with the combo add on of the curry scrambled egg. Not only did it taste like tom yum, it was flavorful, light and not too salty. And for someone who can never decided between curry or ramen, the add on was something I could appreciate. The mentaiko rice bowl was also a really nice dish to add on, if you don't get the mentaiko ramen. My next favorites were the black garlic and chili garlic shoyu. I do recommend getting less salt because depending on the broth it can get to be really salty. The mala was not bad, but definitely wouldn't get that one. While the ramen itself wasn't anything super special, I really can appreciate the variety and unique flavor options. The flavor profiles of all of the ones we had matched what we had expected.Service/Staff: 5/5The staff were super attentive and nice! They kept our water cups filled, checked in on us frequently (but not an overwhelming amount of times), and got us our food fairly quickly. I have no complaints!Space/Parking: 4/5The restaurant is small, so I can imagine that it could get real crowded and have some wait time if you have a larger group. It was pretty empty when we went and we were a group of 7, so I guess it just depends on the day and time! But the space was clean and had some nice decor. There's tons of parking around the area being that it's in PacCom, so no need to worry much about that!

Ordered ramen and mini karage bowl to go. The karage is over fried,meat is too dry and very hard to bite. Ramen is still quite good.
