Besides the catering business Tony makes a wicked BBQ.We ordered in person and sat in the porch area which is located in the heart of downtown Alviso. There was room for maybe 10 tables including a gas fire pit table. The ordering area was outside as well. It looked like take-out was an integral part of the operation.``We ordered the brisket, ribs, beans, slaw, TX toast and Mac and cheese. The ribs were meaty and firm and the brisket was rested and tender, both were first class. Nice smoke ring throughout. The sauce was home brewed and was somewhere between Kansas City and Tennessee in flavor I would say. I ordered the hot flavored sauce and it was not very hot.The sides were good but straight down the middle average except the mac and cheese which was nice and creamy. Anything missing? Where is the cornbread?Always a treat to try out a new BBQ joint especially in these times. Tony knows his way around a smoker that is for sure!

Tony Caters helped make our event a huge success. The staff were friendly and professional and made our event exactly how we envisioned it. Will hire again.

I had high hopes for this place. So very disappointed. One star because the food looked really good. One star for a decent amount of food. Pricey. The ribs were extremely dry and had no seasoning. The brisket had no flavor. Baked beans were crunchy= undercooked. The potatoe salad was wierd and not good at all. And Cole slaw was edible but but had a twang to it. Hot links and kielbasa sausage was standard, nothing special. And the Turkey sandwich was chokingly dry. Mac and cheese taste like Kraft. Although the mac and cheese with pork was better. I am on the fence as to whether to give them another try or not. Too expensive to be so bad. We shall see

My company was celebrating our 50th anniversary on 8/1/19 and I need a cater that could handle 500+ guest and I had the pleasure of working with Tony Caters. Below is the email I sent thanking them for all they did."I wanted to Thank you both for everything you did to make our 50th anniversary party such a wonderful event. We've been getting numerous compliments on everything, specially the food. Most of our employees have asked to have the short rib and rolling cheese display at every party. As soon as I met you two I knew you were the right people to pull this event off. All of your staff are wonderful and hardworking people. Also would like to thank you for the Chimichurri sauce and platter we devoured it pretty quickly. Jim was thrilled with his own jar of Chimichurri Sauce.I look forward to working with you again."

We ordered from their holiday menu. Service was impeccable - its staff answered questions promptly via FB messenger, and delivery person made sure we answered the door before she left (it's still contactless delivery). They even had another person separately delivered the two dinner rolls that were missing from the first delivery. Items came in a beautiful holiday gift box.My husband is vegetarian and I am not a very talented cook, so I am so grateful that we were able to have a fancier vegetarian holiday dinner without us slaving away in the kitchen. Food was delicious with simple reheating instructions. I was able to feed my family of 4 (2 adults, 2 young kids) with the standard holiday meal for 2 (we also purchased an additional bisque and dessert) by adding couple dinner rolls and an extra side of vegetables. =) We were so full that we had to save dessert for another meal.

The food was absolutely amazing. The service was quick and helpful. The staff was extremely nice and cheerful. The Tables are places nice and far from eachother, they pay a close eye to detail for cleaning each table after a patron uses it. the place hass outdoor seating with a nice shade over the top of the area. 11/10 will be visiting again, their pulled pork nachos are just to die for!!

We hired Tony's for our rehearsal dinner and they absolutely killed it. From a fantastic spread of food that was beautifully presented, to a fair number of special requests for vegan and gluten-free friends, they were able to handle everything we threw at them. The staff was super attentive and friendly, and we couldn't ask for anything more. If we need catering for an event in the area, no question Tony's is going to be our first call.

Smashing Dishes did a wonderful job catering my husband's birthday party at our home. The food was tasty and the service was excellent. Would definitely use them again. They made it easy to host a party without having the stress.

Very professional staff, great presentation, and the food quality was a 10. Will definitely book them again when the need arises.

I called this place twice and left a msg for their sales team per their voice mail instructions. Two days have gone by. No response.
