Been living around this area and been trying to check out this place. The long lines and large crowd on the weekends can be crazy.Weekday and we finally tried this place. They have good system in making sure service is quick and easy.Typical diner-ish. Large menu, lots of food to choose from.Price is decent.Ordered corned beef and hash, coffee, chicken tenders and fries.Fries were good. Chicken tenders are mid. Corned beef is mushy. Seemed like it was a can. Potatoes were good tho.Service was good. We felt like the servers were in a hurry tho.

Best Breakfast and brunch spot in the area!Food: cooked to perfectionPatty Melt: the melt was just perfect and good as requested. The fries are amazing and fresh homemade buttermilk ranch. Chocolate chip pancakes: awesome so yummy, had a chocolate chip cookie on top. Just a burger: amazing, has beef, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and mayo. You can ask for cheese added. Fries on the side was perfect. Lolita: so yummy, fresh avocados. Service: awesome and prompt. You can order while you wait for seating. You wait outside, plenty of bench's, not too cold as it's in front of building. Ambiance: cute decor. We loved how everyone puts money or business cards under the plastic on the table.

FIRST 2025 MEALIn December 2023 I ate at Dino's Family Restaurant because I read the owners decided to close the restaurant at the end of the year to focus on their other eateries like Billy Roy's Burger and Skillet'z Cafe. Fortunately Dino's Family Restaurant ended up not closing. However by eating at Dino's I did go to their other two eateries. The first time I went to Skillet'z Cafe was last May. I was thinking about getting the Skillet'z Special as I'm big believer of ordering food with a name of the restaurant. However I noticed one of the items listed on the specials of the day was Mexican Chicken Fried Steak. I asked my server if she would recommend the Skillet'z Special or Mexican Chicken Fried Steak. She suggested the Mexican Chicken Fried Steak, which I ended up ordering. The Mexican version different twist to the American version as there are chorizo and serrano pepper. The pepper didn't add spice but flavor to this dish. For beverage I ordered an iced mocha. The next time I visited Skillet'z Cafe was on New Year's Day. I sat outside on the patio. Even though there were other items to consider I ordered the Skillet'z Special. I was hoping to get the beignets instead of the pancake, but my server informed me they were out. I decided to get waffle topped with blueberries. I paid $5 extra for a ham steak in lieu of sausage. For appetizers I thought about ordering fried zucchini, but as the new year I wanted to try a new item. I ordered the mac and cheese balls. Sometimes blueberries can taste too tarty, but the blueberries on the waffle didn't have that aftertaste. I enjoyed the blueberries. However I wish the waffle was crispier. The mac and cheese balls had that crispy breading on the outside with the gooey cheese inside. The ham steak was worth $5 more as I got a big portion. On New Year's Day I enjoyed my breakfast at Skillet'z Cafe on a sunny day sitting outside on the patio while enjoying my meal.

Skillet'z Cafe offers promising flavors but falls short in execution and service. I tried the chicken fried steak and the Mi Chendo's pork chop. While the flavors were well-developed, the meat in both dishes was overcooked, leaving it tougher than ideal. The popularity of this spot is evident--when I arrived to pick up my takeout order, there were over a dozen people waiting outside, signaling its local appeal. However, the wait time was a downside. My order took nearly twice as long as quoted, leaving me standing outside much longer than expected.Overall, the food shows potential, and the high demand speaks volumes about its reputation. With better meat preparation and improved efficiency, this spot could really shine.

Came on a Wednesday morning for breakfast and the staff was very attentive and fast. I ordered a veggie burrito and hubby got the fluffy homemade biscuit and gravy. The food was standard nothing to rave about but enjoyed the service and staff. Corned beef hash was probably the star of the show we enjoyed the little crispness it had and was tasty.

Starting off 2025 with a memorable brunch at Skillet'z by Niles in Fremont sounds like a fantastic way to kick off the year! Imagine savoring those delicious dishes like steak and eggs, beef hash with over easy eggs, upgrade the side to their fluffy banana pancake and Nutella French toast, sipping on a perfectly vanilla latte , and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of your favorite spot. It's the kind of morning that sets a delightful tone for the days to come. Love that one of the server help take the order ahead while waiting so food came soon after get seated.

FOOD: Everything was so flavorful and came in huge portions. I love how much customization you can do with each plate. The corned beef hash could have some veggies added and you upgrade your toast to a pancake or waffle. And on top of that, you can add things to your pancake. We opted for blueberries and strawberries (it came with a cookie too). Eggs were cooked perfectly and the potatoes came with salsa. Definitely recommend the corned beef hash and upgraded to a pancake !!SERVICE: The service is another thing that makes it worth visiting here. We didn't even the door to the place yet because we didn't have to! Didn't catch his name, but one of the waiters/cashiers opened the door for us. He was super helpful and so were the rest of the people there. Food also came out fast :) VIBES: Decorations are so cute. There were Christmas decorations and mistletoe in the doorway. The tables have cool cards, tickets, etc. that previous people have left behind.

Located in a small old town looking street in Fremont. Very cute! The restaurant is also small, unique and gives off, clean hole in the wall, with a blast of personality. Lots of unique coffees, lattes, and food to choose from. The drinks were cute and the plates were full! My friends and I left full and satisfied. Service was also very fast. They were on top of everything and very friendly.

Came here for brunch around 12:30 on a Sunday and only had to wait about 40 minutes for a table. Since you order before you're seated, our food came out pretty quickly once we sat down. The milkshakes did take awhile, but they were delicious once they came out! I had some kind of hash with poached eggs, which has become one of my favorite breakfasts lately! We were seated on the patio so it wasn't too loud, and it was shaded which was nice. I can't speak to the indoor dining experience. I'd definitely come back !
