Sip & Slide

Happen to be around with my team at work celebrating and we came across Sip and Slide. They were running out of options as it was pretty late in the day though we made the most out of what was left to be served. We ordered a few orders of falafel and a few of the fries and were not disappointed. The food was great and done to precision. The host was very amicable and talked to us about the history of the truck and how she has been inspired by her mother's recipes and has been putting those to perfection out here.Good luck to Sip and Slide and hopefully soon!!!

Very friendly crew behind Sip & Slide food truck. I loved the Classic - beef slider. Fries were good too.Happy to see them at Calicraft!

Came across this food truck at Faction Brewing on a Friday evening. The perfect accompaniment to beer.A bit pricy at $7 per slider, but these sliders were no-joke to die for! Originally ordered one slider (the original). Before I knew it, I had downed it all within seconds. Ended up going for a second slider (spicy Thai). Loved every bit of it. Now, I find myself wondering when's the next time I'll happen to stumble upon them. Hopefully soon.

Decent food truck in Oakland. Caught them at faction brewery. Got the classic and chicken slider and garlic fries. The sliders were decent a little bit of a different taken then I expect but was ok. The fries were meh, normal fries with garlic nothing special. Service were great, the folks there were kind and attentive.

Unfortunately, poor attitude in regards to request for refund due to timeframe of 2 fry orders greater than 30 min. Cashier was subsequently rude and commented to give them some understanding about how busy/slow their service was. Did not try food, so cannot comment.

I went with some friends to Faction Brewery on a Friday and Sip & slide truck was conveniently located next to the brewery. My friends and I ordered some sliders and pulled pork fries. My favorite was the buffalo slider. The pork fries was good too since it's covered with coleslaw. Overall the food was good but wish the sliders would be a little bit bigger. I would suggest to order 2-3 sliders and some sides if you have an appetite.

Super tasty sliders, bigger than your typical slider. Highly recommend the classic or super.

$6 Sliders...these are pretty good sliders, not amazing, but good enough. I could easily gobble up 5 of these little sliders and still not be full, but there are much better meals out there for $30. Maybe this is reasonable for the many $100K+ salary earners of the Bay Area, but for the rest of us schmucks making $99,999 and less, these sliders are a ripoff. And with all food trucks: no free water, no service, and a Tip is still expected.

Let me start by saying the fries and crispy Brussel sprouts alone deserve 5 starts. They were not extremely greasy and still had a wonderful crunch to them, like anything fried correctly in clean oil should. The 2 stars results from the absolutely awful food poisoning that my wife and I had from the sliders. We ordered the original and the Buffalo and were violently sick the same night. The pain was so immense, I would not wish it on anyone. I'm talking doubled over in pain, on the verge of tears, crying. Do not get me started on what happened after, no one wants that horror story.​ I am unsure if the chicken was left out too long, or maybe the mayo, or maybe the cheese; none the less something was unsanitary and caused us both undue diress. Eat the sliders at your own risk.​

Service was friendly, food was good. Terribly overpriced. $8 two-bite slider, $8 french fries, $18!!!! Falafel. Food was good but i was left feeling ripped off and me and my gf were still hungry. The prices not being listed should've been a red flag. Definitely learned my lesson, I'll avoid it next time i see it.
