Portuguese egg tarts! Cinnamon bread! A round loaf of yummy goodness. I even asked them how best to slice the bread .Get it all.

A real hidden gem! We almost weren't sure we had the right spot but once we opened the door, it was alright at this small but packed bakery and grocery store for all things Portuguese - baked goods, canned fish, linguica, bacalhau and other sundries. We came for some pasteis de nata and sweet rolls and they were fine. We really enjoyed a couple of linguica logs too - excellent flavor and nice sausage/pastry ratio. Plenty of parking in front. Credit cards accepted. Hours are limited so check before you go!

Kinda pricey but they have some amazing foods!! I have a student who is in love with Portugal (thanks, Ronaldo!) so I brought him some things for him to try. He loved the Pastel de nata and I loved the "tea cookies". I'll come back even to buy only one thing if have to :)

Picked up some sweet bread and rolls for my uncle and it looked really good. Got some custard for myself and it was delightful. Crust was flaky and the custard was perfect.

Almond biscuits were delish! Purchased them from the Fatima in Thornton, CA. Now, I have to try to recreate them.

This place is a hidden gem in Hayward. I really enjoyed the egg tarts and the Portuguese bread. I just wish they were open in the afternoon on Saturdays.

This review is based off their egg tarts.I had a gathering with friends and family and my friend brought a box of egg tarts and these are the best I've ever had!! I was so happy she brought them. I've never had egg tarts so creamy with a little bit of mochi texture. I can't believe I've been missing out on these! Definitely looking forward to making a trip to their bakery.

Delicious and authentic items from Portugal. I love coming here to get my childhood favorites like fresh popsicos, cheese, butter, and red peppers. I love the variety of desserts and items on display. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking to try new desserts or interest in adding delicious spices in your recipe. Highly recommend :)

Wonderful little Portuguese bakery and grocery store with delicious egg tarts and sweet or savory breads. Unique grocery offerings: sausages, canned seafood, seasonings, soft drinks, etc. We love to go when we miss having something "different".

I fell in love with pastise de nada in Portugal. When I got home, I searched for Portuguese bakeries, and found Silva. Their tarts are wonderful, and I will return. I have not tried anything else, but I definitely will.
